As great as this song is, musically, I believe the lyrics and the message in this song are the most important things here. I would be safe to say that goes for a lot of their songs. It's probably why the band's name seems to be so fitting. They are very passionate about what they have to say with their music.

TW’s officially stated heights (stated in several lives) - Pau 5’; Dany 5’3”; and Ale 5’7”. The description in the video gives a long list of people and organizations they thank for the video plus credits to producers/directors/casting agents. Perhaps one of those is an actor in the video. They have never really said who the actors were. In their 2017 TEDx talk they said this was about the XXI Century and what they’d like to change about it.

Obviously metaphorical. With blindfolds, they only see what is online. When the guy is offline and unblindfolded, he is invisible to others, he doesn't exist. And the man survives the fall because he "took the leap" to give up the technology and it didn't kill him.
Pau is very tiny. She's 5 feet tall and maybe 90 pounds. She had to really hit the drums to get any sound out of them, although she has learned techniques (and is probably stronger now) so that she doesn't have to bring her arms up quite so high.

There is a fairly distinct difference between Pau’s drumming style in XXICB and even the TedX performances to today’s version.
Her maturation from a pre teen to teen and then young adult has likely been the main catalyst as she learned through the years to be more efficient.
I also want to point out that Bugs Gonzales from Los Lobos has visited their home to “check them out” and listen to them perform a few songs. There is a 5 part video series that chronicles this on their YT channel.
In one episode, Bugs sits at Pau’s home kit and shows her “tips of the trade”. This occurs in 2018 and it’s around this time that we start seeing some early refinement in Pau’s drumming technique.
I can’t say if there is any direct correlation and one has to also consider her direct exposure over the years to many other world class drummers while touring where it is likely impossible to think that she also didn’t pick up some pointers from them as well.
There’s also documented behind the scenes footage of Pau starting to suffer some hip and shoulder fatigue at a fairly young age which may also contribute to the incentive for Pau becoming a more efficient drummer over time.
Just speculation on my part but who knows (besides Pau) the actual reasons for her transformation.

When she first started drumming she has said she looked like a toddler so I imagine she had to put effort into getting the sound she wanted since it was a full size drum kit she started with.

In the comments someone mentioned that they are changing the stereotype for rockers. Instead of a hangover they start their days with exercise. That isn't as unusual as it sounds like but a lot of the other rockers didn't start with the exercising as young as these ladies have.
The videos with Bugs are good. I don't know if they ever did get the chance to do a set with Los Lobos though Bugs mentioned that he would like to invite them to in one of the videos.

i always wonder how many others notice the number on the indoctrination pod the baby is placed into... many of us think it may be a shout out to YES and their 1983 album 90125 which was released two years after Yes broke up... you can find a few links to that album in its entirety... not really a music video as it is only the music... it is a great trip back in time... oh! the MV for the first song on that YES album also has a similar theme with culprits and recovery agents...
so back to this video... yes, the imagery is awesome and extremely thought provoking... there's a lot being said in there... one of the main things is about taking a leap of faith and leaving things behind... this is absolutely a song about social media and how it affects people in ways they don't even know... in this case, everyone is so wrapped up in social media that they cannot see what is going on around them... thus the blindfolds... the video was nominated for and won numerous awards back in 2017...

They retired it a few years ago but they did bring it back a couple times last year. As for the high arm drumming, there is a specific name for that style, cant remember now, so it's not necessarily Pau just trying to look flashy, although she succeeds at that. She said herself that when she looks at her younger self she worries she would hurt herself (ruclips.net/video/GMBy4yS86OY/видео.htmlfeature=shared&t=1794). She is still a powerful player but she also got way more technique to do that what is needed. Which you can see with the famous 'Pau cams': playing ghost notes in a hard hitting rock song. I suspect the "animal drumming" of Pau was more habit than anything. She started her lessons so young (around 7 years old) that she _needed_ to do that so simply strike the drums with enough force to make a substantial sound. As she got older and physically bigger, it took a bit of time for her to adjust. At the point this video was shot, she was still in that kind of "in between" stage, and not entirely certain of how she needed to pound the beat. But, like a lot of younger drummers, she figured "More ain't never worse" and just blasted the hell out of them. And she wasn't wrong, really. Eventually, she learned to modulate the effort a tad... but not at the time this was filmed. And it's fantastic to listen too/look at. It may not be "correct" from a precision drummer perspective, but it's all that and a bag of chips from us fans of the band. Bang on, Pau!! Bang on!!!

Like others have said, Pau's style has changed and matured. She's learned to be more efficient - the wild swinging is no doubt entertaining, but you don't see the great technical players doing that. It's just maturity. Plus, as she said in the recent Digital Tour Bus gear rundown, she switched from 5A sticks to the heavier 5B because she's a "hard hitter." That's not to say she's lost any of her entertaining aspect - quite the opposite really, as now she is more theatrical and dramatic than ever, and even more fun to watch if that's possible.
