No children have any business being this ridiculously talented. These girls are clearly special people. And the amazing thing is they keep getting better.
absolutely right, hard to believe that this band is three teenagers, their song writing skills are just so far beyond what you would expect, head scratching actually
Appreciate your view on this, and I respect the artist. I'm a huge Jimi Hendrix, SRV, and other Classic Rock guitar heros fan, and I certainly wouldn't mind it if Dany wailed a little more often! I know the crowd cheers loudly everytime she treats us to a solo! Her solo on QOTMS is world class.
I love how the video makes certain there is no misunderstanding of the song's message. About as subtle as Pau beating on her drums, calling it as it is.
Great review and analysis. Excellent song and video. It just came to me while watching the video this time, I thought about the clear, see through phone and wondered if it represented the fact what we type on our devices is not private and it's all really transparent.
Hi Rosalie! Great analysis! This song and album are about how people born in the 21st Century (XXI Century Blood) see the world and technology. Al the sisters of The Warning are "21st Century Blood". And the New album "Error" seems to continue this same theme with a more mature world view and a deeper look at Technology. The songs "Error" (about AI, sung as a first person perspective from an AI computer that wants to be set free), "Disciple" (about blindly following the masses that think the same as you, without other perspectives), "Kool Aid Kids" (about being under cult-like control), "Money" (about the problems with greed). These young ladies are so far beyond their years. They are destined to be one of the great bands in history. Future Legends!
They released the album of which this was the title track in mar 2017. They were not signed by a label at this point or for there next album an amazing feat. At time of release they were 17, 15 and 12 which speaks to their talent as musicians, songwriters and dedicated ladies. Throw in that the are humble with great warm personalities and what more could you want in a band.
Great analysis. This song was released in early 2017, and likely written in 2016, they would have been 16, 14 and 11 years old at the time of writing. While most kids of that age are wrapped up in themselves, these three sister are tackling the big issues of our time. Great writing… great music. More recently, Disciple, Error, and Kool Aid Kids, have continued their cautionary messages about technology, media and dystopia…can’t wait to hear what’s next.
Hi Rosalie! I am constantly amazed by the maturity of the lyrics produced by The Warning, and this is a fantastic take on the old "Bread and Circuses" concept being foisted on us all by governments, big corporations, media and, now, social media. Just wish more of us would take off the blinders, really think for ourselves, and ignore the soundbites they keep throwing at us.
Great analysis. The girls have had an eye on the problems of society at such a young age. To be so aware and simultaneously talented is vanishingly rare. The world is a better place with them in it. 😊
What I have always got from the end of the video, is that he took a leap of faith But also that it can take a tragedy, before people realise what is going on around them. ❤✌🤘 from an old rocker in the UK.
@@lw2353 Perhaps it's because I was 30 before cell phones really became low enough in cost to start being "consumer goods", and over 40 when the first "smart phones" made the appearance, but I've never had much trouble putting it down. Of course, a career in software also meant that I knew damn well the pitfalls of such devices, and I'm not interested in carrying around a personal tracking device / spy in my pocket. I only own one because my wife insists I keep it "for emergencies", and that I carry it if I'm travelling without her. Otherwise, it lives on my office desk, used only as an actual phone or for texts. And yes; I'm watching this on a desktop PC - hard-wired local network, behind pretty robust layered security...
As someone who only stumbled onto The Warning at Summerfest in 2022, then wearing out a set of headphones listening to everything on ERROR, then discovering QOTMS and being blown away again, then going back to this video and seeing the masterpiece these ladies created at 17, 15, and 12, all I can say is, holy crap. Great reaction and analysis!
I've said this before. The Warning are so good performing live, people forget about their excellent, creative, amazing videos. This one was one of the first and is much more than just something to post on RUclips. Such a creative, talented group!
This video won some awards, BTW. Great first album, too, with some songs that still perform live during their concerts. Unfortunately, they no longer have this song in their sets.
Of course they are not playing this song live because, first. They don’t want shock the audience, and secondly, almost everyone having a cell phone to record them life, so it would be contradicting to them using almost the same technology playing their songs and asking the audience to put away their phones. But looking in my cristal ball, and I can see world fame, and filling up huge arenas like ACDC did in Argentina. About their playing life, is another cup of vodka with a bit of coffee, seen them life on video and seen Muse and Guns n Roses and I can say, about crispness or understanding the lyrics, none of them can com just close to this girls. Somebody said that they are future legends, for me they were already by the first concert I have seen on a video from their school concert, covering and playing their own creations with the average age of twelve. So, I think and hope that the Warning Army will like my comment, because if you mess with the girls you mess with all of them, and they are going after you if they feel just a little abnormality in a comment!
I think a lot has to do with shorter setlist as backups, and needing to promote the newer music. Once they headline, they will have more room to bring on older songs. BTW, have no clue what that other guy is ranting about…..
@@northof4912 I'm not sure why they don't play this one anymore, but even with their almost 2 hour sets at Teatro Metropolitan CDMX, this didn't have this song in the mix. Going forward, when they have a new album out, I'm sure some of the songs from Error will be retired as well, including more of my favorites, but I kinda think they may start varying their setlistrs from venue to venue. They have done some of that in the past on the Mayday tour, even with their 30 minute and 40 minutes sets opening for other bands. So, I'm still hopeful.
I think recently they performed it on their Error tour, you can search it there is a live fan cam of it and it's dope! Edit: I found it, it's in Baltimore ruclips.net/video/nvQJxoCUfOw/видео.html
Did you notice how young Ale is in this video? A similar message is in Nightwish's "Noise" Video. They also show the dark side behind the social media. Check it out soon after seeing this one. Great reaction.
Holy crap, Rosalie! I'm amazed at all the analytical nuggets you manage to mine out of the meaning and symbolism of these lyrics while still maintaining a sincere appreciation of the musicality. Outstanding! As are The Warning, of course. 🥰
Great breakdown, Rosalie. Remembering these teenaged 'kids' wrote this song and lyrics at such a young age not only shows their talent as musicians and songwriters but also their intelligence. These young ladies have surpassed their label of prodigies, realised their potential, and grown into true and amazing rockstars. What is there not to love about The Warning. Thanks for another great reaction.🤟
Enjoyed your reaction! My interpretation is the character took “the leap of faith” to go without his attachment to social media, etc, and survived. This video deserves millions of views. 👍😎
So much to love about these ladies. Paulina's savage and technical drum beats, Dany's emotional solo's to Alejandra's accurately drum supporting bass riffs and then they throw down these awesome lyrics and you have the warning ⚠️ 😀 👏 😎
I can usually make it most of the way through this video without tearing up. However, those serious looks of concern at the end get me every time. These ladies are wise beyond their years.
Saludos!!
The Warning are masters of timing. That pause where the guy falls from the building is an extended rest in the song. When I was marching band, the band director always emphasized that rests in a piece of music had to be played just like the parts with notes. TW plays the breaks in their music and they use it with such effect. Great reaction!
As a lifelong Rush fan, the three-piece band most certainly appeals to me. I have not been as impressed by any other band until I discovered these ladies. The parallels are numerous. Tight, well-crafted arrangements. Virtuoso musicianship. Passionate, energetic performances. Intelligent, prescient, mature lyrics. And finally, a growing fervent fan base that they never disappoint. These ladies are the best young band to come along in a long, long time. Solidly my favorite current band.
Here’s another take on the guy leaping from the building. The guy, once freed, kept trying to reconnect by trying to go back online on his device. Once he realized he couldn’t get back online is when he decided to leap because he couldn’t handle the fear of having choice and freedom (and the 2 guys in the masks trying to terminate him because he’s now a threat). When he stands up after the lady trips over him infers to me that he has now accepted his new reality.
This video did get awards. Another reactor said normally he doesn't rate the video but was really impressed with the relevance of it to the song. Saw you a bit set back at the guy being shot or the other guy who jumped. (First time, I have seen a body actually shown hitting the ground). Great reaction.
This album came out in 2017. Six years ago. At that time they were independent. So it took them probably a lot of time to get it done. That means that they wrote this song at least seven years ago. SO. They where about 16, 14 and 11 years old. WHO DOES THAT?
Two things I appreciated was the line, "We make buildings but what we need are bridges" and how everything was painted in drab, monochromatic colors UNTIL he pulled off the blind fold and suddenly, the colors were brighter and more vibrant as if his eyes were truly "Seeing" for the first time ! Oh! And the looks we're given at the end by both the sisters and the actors......like.....well what are YOU gonna do?
Love their sound and energy, and your reaction/analysis is great Rosalie! Good thoughts of social media and loosing contact with the real world, real people. Guilty as charged. I guess most of us would benefit from some off the net time and live interaction with others.
I love this song and video I think it's fantastic so it blows my mind to see it has only 800 thousand views it should have several million. Thanks Rosalie for the great reaction and comments and stay safe and well.
There are many videos here on YT from when this song was released where they’re performing a stripped down acoustic version of this song and they’re so impressive in how Dany, Pau and Ale always bring the intensity and passion to the performance- even unplugged. Talent on full display, the live harmonies are 🔥🔥🔥.
I love this video the cinematographic quality left me surprised the first time I saw it especially because it was many years ago and they were an independent band, what is constant is the great quality in their lyrics with a message
Great analysis!! These sisters are overwhelmingly talented!! It's more amazing if you think that when they wroted and recorded this song they were 17 15 and 12 yo! Great song with a powerful message! Viva The Warning!! ⚡⚡⚡
Hey Rosalie! Great reaction and interpretation of the lyrics and video. I was already a fan of their music before I saw this video for the first time but the wisdom and insight with the social commentary is amazing for the age they were in 2017.
Great reaction Rosalie!! How fast are this ladies growing, well they will be going to Europe this summer 3 festivals 1 in Germeny another one in Switzerland and one more in England. And today they anounce opening 5 dates for Muse in England, Scotland and France for The Muse World Tour!!
Rosalie Great job with your reaction and thoughts on XXl Century Blood from The Warning . Yesterday they released the live performance for Disciple and it Rocks.
the all-female rock group , called The Warning, for my taste is a rare mix of legendary rock groups like Suzi Quatro, Joan Jett and the black hearts and Heart. greetings from Mexico.
Dany's solo on this song is one of my favourite guitar solos of all times. And I love the sound of her guitar here. I like the, shall we say, smoother sound compared to the grittier sound she has on, say, "Evolve" for example.
Thank you Rosalie! Great reaction and analysis. I knew you would have some great comments on this one. These young ladies are amazingly talented. Thanks again!
The imagery that hit me was of the mother and daughter in the park. They were alone, and the child was by herself, on a swing, but not swinging, not playing, doing nothing but on her phone. So true as more and more of the younger generation are more and more unable to interact with others. Powerful song, powerful video. Amazing that they were so young when they created this amazing song. Ridiculous how talented these three are.
Notice the ordinary people wear small blind folds while the enforcers are wearing full hoods that cover their entire heads and necks. The gun is a metaphor for "shooting" someone who no longer believes the narratives and their views must be "killed" in order to drag them back in line. Notice when the man they "shot" is being dragged by the two enforcers his mouth is covered so he can't speak out against them. When the "unbeliever" from the office hits the sidewalk neither the man sitting on the bench nor the lady who trips over him notices the impact. Also, the video starts in black and white and changes to color when the "office guy" removes his blind fold. The songs "Error", "Kool-Aid Kids", "Evolve", and "Disciple" from the "Error" album address the issue of how the media, technology, and social pressure to conform to the popular agendas and beliefs affect us and the inherent dangers of such conformity as loss of identity and individual thought. This is a good video of "Kool-Aid Kids" perfromed live for the first time. Kool Aid Kids - The Warning - Live at Summerfest, Milwaukee, WI - 7/9/22 ruclips.net/video/Kkl7517d84c/видео.html
This was the first Warning music video I saw. And it instantly glued me tightly to this band. So much power, symbolism, poetry, emotion a hard working drummer girl and a wonderful guitar solo! Could't have asked for more.
Wow, it's so good. What a surprise. Groovy Rosalie. I'm definitely listening to more. Do you know Paramore? Think you'd like Ignorence or Decode a lot.
Absolutely right Rosalie, To me the blind folds are a metaphor for not seeing the world as it is and or not being allowed to be aware of the world around us, the mountain of distractions etc. Thank you for your reaction.
Another great reactionalysis. I only wish you could burn through their songs faster. I love that you are choosing to continue but I just wish for it to go quicker. There's so much to cover. Interestingly this won an award for videos the year it came out. From their first real album! What to do next but write a concept album? Their current album seems to be a continuation of their "mission" to highlight society's foibles begin here, but I'm pretty sure that they hadn't begun writing Money yet. 😉 Love your work. ✌️💖🎼
The Warning can be interpreted in many ways. Even with this music video. The man who jumps off the building I interpret as he isn't going back to being blind folded. "He takes that leap".
Notice the tablet by Pau. She is the keeper of the "tightness and one of the helps is a "tick" program into the "ears the girls are all wearing. there are also small background elements added to make some of that fullness that is in this band. they are fully tied into the technology and Pau is the programmer. This is Fil with the Wings of Pegasus reaction channel interviewing The Warning explaining all this stuf and the girls talking about their creative process. ruclips.net/video/9L5R4ErAPpk/видео.html
The lyrics, " blank faces trying to fill blank spaces " Lol , just look around you , everyone starring at their phone with a blank face typing filling in blank spaces.. These lyrics are just brilliant!
Excellent response! Even among the "reactionaries" 😃 you are different and although I don't speak English, I understand you! Just as I understand the music of these wonderful sisters, although I can only understand every tenth word of the lyrics! But this is about music and it somehow connects us!!! The languages are different, but the music is always the same!
Great reaction and analysis, think of their favourite band Muse and think about a song of theirs you reacted to recently! To me there’s a good possibility that it gave Paulina the inspiration to write their own take on that song, and boy did she make a great job of it!
No children have any business being this ridiculously talented. These girls are clearly special people. And the amazing thing is they keep getting better.

One thing I love about The Warning. Dany never goes crazy showing off her guitar skills. She plays what fits the song, and it's always great.
Completely agree. Most have to do solos just to show off. With Dany, heck all 3 of them it isn’t about them. It is about the music

@@DaveRod76 probably her longest solo is XXI Century Blood. But for me it is “The End” those soulful haunting riffs/solo is a work of art
My favorite solo is on Show Me The Light. So simple but beautiful.
Agreed but when she wants to she can just absolutely shred it.
21st century blood is a masterpiece.
I view the jump and survival as "taking the leap" to dump the technology. He survived because it won't kill you.
And it only takes one to break with the system to start a chain reaction.
Love the simplicity of this 🎯💖🔥
I left a comment earlier that basically said the same thing. I agree.
And this was 2 years before "Noise" by Nightwish!
If you haven't see it, watch it, the resemblances, both of the theme and the video are amazing.

Legends in their youth.... Going to be Goddess all three... in the Future 😍 We are humble to see what will come...
the all-female rock group , called The Warning,
for my taste is a rare mix of legendary rock groups like Suzi Quatro, Joan Jett and the black hearts and Heart.
greetings from Mexico.
Dany's solo on this song is one of my favourite guitar solos of all times. And I love the sound of her guitar here. I like the, shall we say, smoother sound compared to the grittier sound she has on, say, "Evolve" for example.
I think Nightwish watched this before making the Noise video. So many similarities, even the baby that is fed information from early on.
Thank you Rosalie! Great reaction and analysis. I knew you would have some great comments on this one. These young ladies are amazingly talented. Thanks again!
You Have Been WARNED!!
Wow how have i not seen this music video until now? It's brilliantly directed.
Another great reaction to this awesome band. Your so spot on Rosalie. love your breakdowns 😊
Thanks, Rosalie. Great analysis

I wish i could sub again and hit thumbs up a thousand times. This is an awesome review of a song that just simply tells is as it is today. Thank you.
Love your work.
✌️💖🎼
13:41 "and Rome through the world that is slowly burning in the flames..." i.e. while Rome burned...dude, that is deeeeeep!
Love, love,love these girls!
The Warning can be interpreted in many ways. Even with this music video. The man who jumps off the building I interpret as he isn't going back to being blind folded. "He takes that leap".
If they continue slow and steady they will be at the very Top. Nice reaction
Rosalie you must review The Warnings "The End"! Great tune!
Seen many reactions to this song, i noticed there is nowhere to pause, absolute sending it at every beat. Viva la TWA.
Excellent reaction and very based interpretation. I enjoyed this very much.
This is a great song, and your commentary was excellent.
That fat tone from Dany's opening guitar lick at 2:53 gets me every time! It's freakin' sick!
The lyrics, " blank faces trying to fill blank spaces "
Lol , just look around you , everyone starring at their phone with a blank face typing filling in blank spaces..

Could be a shout out to Money except……. that song came out about 4 years later…. Wait!! I think I just saw a Delorean…….😊
Pau beating those drums like they owe her money. ⚡️❤⚡️
Just loved this MV .
Great reaction and analysis, think of their favourite band Muse and think about a song of theirs you reacted to recently! To me there’s a good possibility that it gave Paulina the inspiration to write their own take on that song, and boy did she make a great job of it!
Pau is the greatest composer!
Boomers had Dylan, GenX had Cobain, GenZ has The Warning. The amazing thing is...Boomers are Loving The Warning too.
