I made ALL of these mistakes with my first one because I was convinced babies sleep poorly no matter what you do. She was a terrible sleeper close to 2 years. With my 2nd I found your channel. He is currently 7 weeks old and since last week he's become more fussy during evenings and fell asleep at 00:35 after 4 hours of crying and few ways to actually sooth him. I was starting to worry that I'm doing something wrong. Now everything makes sense and it's so comforting to know it's normal and just another phase. I've noticed no stools during night as well and this morning I almost made the mistake of changing his diaper cause he was fussing but then decided to wait a bit longer as he seemed to still be asleep and sure enough I got 40 more minutes of sleep! So a big THANK YOU for all these tips! They are real and work! I know it's difficult to pause and wait as a new parent especially since the fussiness can last up to 10-15 minutes but as long as they don't cry histerically or have their eyes opened they are doing it all in their sleep.
Hi Gabriela! Thanks so much for sharing! I love hearing how these videos have made the 2nd time round a little easier with your little one. Pausing is definitely hard but it can help knowing that they may be still asleep and not really needing your help. So nice to hear you are getting some more rest this time round too!
I agree with all of these tips! As a newborn, my daughter wouldn’t sleep before 2am and would cluster feed until then, but we never burped her, interacted with her, or turned on the light to even change a diaper. She’s now 8 months old and now she’s a 6-6 or 7-7 sleeper (still dream feeds) and she now knows when I interact with her less, her room is dark, her white noise maker is on, and she’s in her sleep sack, it’s bedtime. New parents, their sleep will fix itself!
Funny thing is, my baby gets fussy and spits up more if I don't burp them. The good news is, they find it soothing and they also need to be held upright for 10 minutes after feeding and they find the cuddles relaxing and calming.
My baby is one month old and she wakes up 3 times in the night, sometimes takes me two hours to get her back to sleep, sometimes 20 minutes after an hour feed. She loves the white noise machine . I do burp her because when I don’t she wriggles about and seems most uncomfortable. I tried both
Hi! Can you do the same video for baby that are not newborns? Like from 6 to 12 months? I find myself helping her to go back to sleep for 20 times a night
My first always finally got tired at 11pm and now my second gets tired at about 10:30 and usually sleeps about 3 hours. However even with the tips about getting him back down (I watch stuff on my phone with the brightness turned down, I don’t usually burp him (he’s breastfed) and I now only change him if he’s pooped, and it still takes me about an hour of feeding, waiting until he’s fully dozed off and reswaddling before I get to lay back down.I also think I might have trained my first to wake more often by not knowing how much moving and how loud a newborn can be in their sleep and it set me up for a lot of long and sleepless nights. For months and months. This time around he only gets up usually twice at night
Thank you for these tips, I have been using most of these (I learnt some of them from your previous videos) and they really do help! I think most new mums are grateful for any extra sleep we can get, so thank you so much for helping in this area!
Omg thank you! I thought I was a lazy mother! My friend's little one was very scheduled and she was in bed by 7:30 every night but the parents were waking up every 2-4 hours with her, we all just thought this was normal. I noticed my little one would nap around 7, then want to wake up an hour later, then wouldn't be sleepy again until 11. But she would sleep a solid 6-7 hours until morning. My friend kept stressing the need for a schedule and early bedtime but I kinda ignored her so that I could get more sleep.
My baby is 5month old and has a 10pm bedtime, I always worry its too late! 🤦🏽♀️ Im trying to move it earlier but its been a week, and its a mess! He just doesnt wanna fall asleep easily, its a struggle. It takes 1h to put him to sleep. I dont know if I should just be consistent with trying to put him to sleep earlier, or should I go back to 10pm bedtime!
This woman is a life saver! My 2nd baby is in the 7 week mark. I am catching onto the 10pm 11pm bedtime. Still working on the fussiness part from 8-10, but we're getting the hang of each other. I was sooo worried when the diapers weren't fully wet or poop filled by our 2am feed. I understand that it's normal now. We go to bed around 10 or 11 and have 2 feeds (one at 2am and one at 530am) before we wake in the morning. Thanks Emma for your mommy brain. I have 2 kids, but my first is 5 going on 6. So now that his sister has arrived I kind of forgot all the things. However there are recent developments such as burping, and bummer things that have changed since my son was born. Thanks for all the advice. I'm not insane😅 also I share videos with the spouse and grandparents so that they don't go at it blindsided either❤
You have literally made my night. It is so nice to hear these videos are helpful - sometimes it's hard to keep making them with 3 kids. Your comment reminded me why I keep doing it!
My baby loves hey bear .the black and white high contrast with classical music playing its very calming . And then womb heartbeat music on RUclips ans I swear the artist enya is amazing for calming babies down with her songs. Calming sleep mayic really helped my baby during those hours.
Awwww, thank God I found this channel so much helpful information, my baby is 8weeks and I'm a first time mum, and I'm seeing all these signs. I have subscribed to your channel, and I'm so happy, I feel like you're videos are really going to help me. Thank you Emma Hubbard, kisses😘
If you think your baby might be experiencing “purple crying,” I recommend checking for early teething. We discovered my son was teething at eight weeks. Once we addressed that, it was so much better.
@@hadassah9323 we used some clove powder to numb his gums and a vibrating teether. And cuddles. Lying down seemed to make it worse, so sat him upright for a few minutes. What about you? What helped?
@@swedee5870I literally just told my dr today I thought my 3 mo old was teething and he shut me down on it because he’s too young 😅 sooo much drool and hates being laid down
Great video! The tips you shared on how to improve a baby's sleep by avoiding these three common mistakes were very practical and helpful. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us!
I'd love to read about the study you mentioned! Would you be able to link or reference studies you mention in your videos? I never know where to look for more info and it would be so helpful. Thanks for another great video!
My mind is blown (wish I knew sooner). I have definitely been trying to get my baby to sleep earlier in the evening. He is nearly 3 months now but we still have some nights were he is up late and I am wondering, what am I doing wrong. These videos are so helpful, especially for myself as a first time parent ❤ I look forward to reading the pdf Thankyou for sharing these to everyone
Thanks so much! It's so good to hear that these videos are helping you navigate parenthood. ❤ Also I think bedtime false starts are something most parents do, as the days can be long some times and they do get fussy in the evenings!
I'm right in this phase and feel smug for having figured out a few of these tips by trial and error. I'm very fortunate bc my daughter sleeps for 4-6 hours at a time at night most days.
I thought a lot of what you're saying was intuitive just knowing some basic things like: babies sleep a lot and they wake less through the night as they get older. I thought I was doing what most parents do, putting my newborn to bed just before we go to bed, between 11 and 12, that it just made sense to not bother trying to put him to bed earlier until he sleeps at least 7-8 hours straight on a regular basis.
Yes! I have the same thought. I see everyone putting their babies and kids to bed at 8 but that never made sense to me. I had my son stay up until 11 or 12 with us but all of a sudden he started falling asleep on his own at 9 and waking up super early (we're night owls and don't do early lol) and now I'm having the opposite problem as everyone else as I'm trying to keep him awake later, not get him to sleep sooner. He just turned 3 months
Thanks for all your videos, so helpful! Our baby is 5 months old but is waking up the way you describe in the first stretch (and later, too). What could it be?
Thank you for this video! ♡ I do have a question that maybe you or anyone watching can possibly answer? My husband and I have been sleep training our 3.5 month old and have been watching his wake windows/sleep cues. We put him down the crib (after doing all the bed time routine) within 1.5 - 2hrs of his wake window but he cries when he is put down even with a pacifier. Sometimes he cries for just 30min but sometimes cries for over an hour which goes over his wake window and now he is overtired. And because he is overtired, he wakes up randomly throughout the night and cries & wakes upnway before he is supposed to. We avoided him being overtired but it's inevitable when he cries past his wake window? I hope someone is able to help me. And thank you in advance. ❤ 🙏
Regarding not burping at night time, how long do you recommend keeping a baby in an upright position after feeding before putting them down on their back to sleep? I read between 15 and 60 mins depending on how refluxy the baby is.
Mom of 3, two with reflux, I did as long as I could reasonably stay awake (which was usually about 5-10 minutes) with my reflux babies and I don't do it at all with my non-reflux baby. Holding them upright is really just a chance to allow a burp to escape, if it's sitting in a good position. If you've been holding the baby upright for 5 to 10 minutes and no burp has come out, it's doubtful you're going to get one. Otherwise you are holding them upright long enough for their stomachs to move enough milk into the intestines such that they won't have as much reflux, which is probably closer to the 60 minute mark. For my first who had extremely bad reflux we put the mattress in her bassinet at an incline and stuff towels at the bottom so she wouldn't slide to the bottom.
I thought I wasn’t doing things right because as a newborn, baby’s bedtime was 11pm, no burping, and change of diaper once when no poop. He didn’t spit up or have gas so I let it go. As he got older bedtime slowly moved up to 7:30pm. I read advice to read your baby and not focus on every advice and it helped me notice his rhythm. Yet still wondered if I was doing thing “right”
My baby is 10 weeks now and she used to take long naps linking her sleep cycles together but now she doesn’t. She’ll scream and kick. She’s even starting doing that the moment I lay her down even though she was starting to close her eyes in my arms. I always lay her down once she’s calm but still awake. I do all the things recommended, cool dark room, white noise, swaddle, pacifier. Nothing is working. She hates the swaddle now and often breaks her arms free. I’ve tried the halo, the one with their arms up (she doesn’t get out of that one but also doesn’t like it), and the happiest baby swaddle. I need help! In the last week she’s also started not sleeping well in the night. She used to go anywhere from 3-5 hours without waking, wake for a feed and then back asleep till 7:30. Now she’ll do the first three hours but from midnight on she wakes every hour. Tired new momma over here scouring for advice on the internet.
I sadly don't have much help to offer, but maybe a little bit of encouragement. Sometimes our babies go through a sleep regression like that. But it wont be like this forever. When my son was this young he was a really bad sleeper. I even googled how to hypnotize my baby to sleep, because nothing worked and I was just desperate. But now he is a year old and sleeps through the entire night. I know when you're deep in this phase and sleep-deprived as hell it feels like time is dragging. But I promise it wont be forever. Your child will sleep better again. ❤️
Co-sleeping helped for me and my baby...of course he still woke up during the night but not every hour....it started getting a lot better when he reached 7 months...I promise you it'll get better❤
Short naps are frustrating but developmentally appropriate at this age. The waking at night could be a schedule issue possible or it could be the 4 month sleep regression which my son also hit early at 3 months. Their sleep pattern changes to a more adult sleep pattern. Highly recommend sleep training. I did pick up put down sleep training and my son is still an independent sleeper at 15 months. At that point I had to put him down fully awake. Putting down drowsy made him scream more.
@@evesyiem6160I cosleep with my baby and he does the same thing gives me about a three hour stretch for the first one and then wakes up every hour after
My 10 week old sleeps pretty well during the night. We have always put him to bed later (around 11pm) as that is the time we go to bed. We had been told from all the antenatal groups that you must not leave the baby in the room by itself for longer than a nip to the loo. So therefore he just naps on us whilst we watch TV. However same problem applies during daytime naps, so often have to wake him to pick him up to move between floors in the house.
I was never told that however I never leave my 3 week old to sleep in the room alone. I guess Im paranoid because I worry he might choke in his sleep. I also let him nap with us while watching tv before I put him to sleep for the night.
Our baby is approaching 10 weeks, and is still very much passing bowel movements in the night, basically after every feed (between feeds). Making it diificult to not wake him during the night to change him :(
Hi! Some babies just take a little longer. Just keep an monitoring it and you should notice that those bowel movements start to reduce overnight and then stop completely, as his circadian rhythm starts to kick in.
My little one pooed in the night until she was around 4 Months because she would regularly poo whilst feeding. (Still does in the daytime even now to be fair.) The nighttime poos just faded out eventually. :) It is frustrating because it means they need to be changed and they wake up fully but it does phase out eventually. :)
My baby always liked the later sleep time of 10-11 pm. Now at three months she sleeps 12 hours straight but we are stuck with the late sleep time. How do I gradually move it up? I’m worried she won’t sleep earlier since she slept a solid 12 hours. Do I just move it up gradually in 10-20 min increments each night?
Hi Emma! My baby’s sleep recently took such a turn for the worse. He’s 6.5 months old, has never been a great sleeper but he could occasionally go 4-5 hour stretches before. But as of 5 days ago, he is waking literally every one hour (so waking between every sleep cycle). Could this be the 6 month sleep regression? I’m assuming that’s what it is because around the same time as his sleep got worse, he also learned to sit unsupported and crawl. He’s also trying to stand now! All three of these skills happened within a few days of each other. Mama is exhausted though … hoping and praying he goes for longer stretches again soon 😔
Did you just start introducing puree veggies and fruit around the time this started? It could be that the increased fiber and sugar in the diet takes a little time to adjust to and during the transition (just like with an adult who increases fiber in their diet) it can cause gas. Some foods may be more of a trigger than others. Infant probiotics might help a bit.
@@freshgreen54 Thanks for the comment! I did actually start purees around this time so that could have been it! Happy to say sleep is better nowadays... not great still, but better!
My 4.5 month old sleeps on brestfriend nursing pillow and as soon as i try to put her back to crib, she would wake up and cry to pick her up again. Please guide how to transition her from my nursing pillow into her crib without waking her?
Bubs is 7w, we do this with the late bedtime! Find it easiest to wear in a sling to get through toddler's bedtime then get myself ready for bed so when I can reset him with a nappy and feed about 10pm I go to bed right after he goes to sleep! He's a unicorn baby, sleeps about 6h from then! (Then up for 90mins middle of the night but I'll take it! Our 2yo has never slept this well lol seems they're all different 😂❤
Hellow, I am a newbie mom at this june. I wonder if you said that its unnecessary burping the baby and changing her diapers at night because it could startled her to awake, is it safe for newborn? How about gases in her stomach? Is there any risk of throw up at night? I am really scared of it. Thankyou.. please be kind to respond this..
The confusion I am struggling with is my baby is 1 month old and sometimes isnt awake at the three hour mark to feed but we are being told to wake them up. Is this correct or should I leave him for 4 hours
Darling has thought scarlet has been sleeping all day. Those 15-20 min sleeps. Says she's not tired. I tummy time, feed and then put her to bed on a dark room. And we sleep all night
Hi Emma.. Thank you for the wonderful content. I have a 4 months old baby and all of your Bed time routine is been followed.I try for a 7.30 bedtime but then like day nap she wakes exactly at 8. I feed as she is fussy and next 2 hours she super active. She falls asleep around 10 and this is been for a month. How do I change this??
Thank you so much for your videos and advices. We use some and find them really useful! We are first time parents of 3 month old boy. He is almost 7kg. We are feeding him mostly with formula every 3-4 hours. His bedtime starts at 9-10 PM depends if it is bath night, at 12 PM he wakes again to be feeded, and 2 more times at night, falling back to sleep immidiatly after feeding. But is there any way to make him sleep the whole night? We are really tired to wake up every 3 hours at night and it influenced on me during working hours...
An amazing book for you to check out is Twelve Hours of Sleep by Twelve Weeks! My baby girl is 9 weeks today and pretty consistently sleeps through the night (9pm-8am)
We have the exact same routine. We get up at 11, 1, 4 and 6 then he gets colic, goes back to sleep at 8am and is up for the day around 10. You posted this a month ago, meaning your son is 4 months now. Has it gotten any better? Mine just turned 3 months
@@echo1336A hey, sorry for late reply. Now we are 5 months. Routine got better. - he fals asleep at 9-10 pm, sleeps for 6-8 hours, so only 1 feeding at night, the next is in the morning when we should (but it is no true :)) get up
My baby girl is 7 months now, but she will only sleep for maximum 30 minutes and then wake up crying, I'll have take her and help her sleep again but not feeding every time. This happens both during day and night. However, she completes her sleep hour this way but I am not able to sleep at night atleast till 2am everyday. This has become exhausting and there is no exception in this habbit. I am worried if its ever gonna improve. please help.
Does a baby born 5 weeks early and severe growth restriction be months behind in their milestones??? My twins are almost 8 months old and they aren’t doing most of a 6 month old milestones yet.
Hi Taylor! Given that your twins were born 5 weeks early and they are almost 8 months old, their adjusted age would be almost 7 months old. Therefore, the milestones you would be hoping they would be reaching would be 6 month old milestones. However, the common gross motor milestones of rolling over and sitting up independently, are milestones babies can achieve anywhere from 4 - 7 months for rolling over and 6 - 9 months for sitting up. So it is ok if they are not yet doing these. All babies develop at different rates, but if you are concerned I recommend you book an appointment with their Dr or Paediatrician for a review.
Do you have a video on how to help a baby that's 7 months to sleep through the night...trying to get her to sleep is a nightmare right now and I'm at my wits end 😭😭😭😭😭
Hi! You would be exhausted! To help your little one sleep for longer it's helpful to identify why they are waking so frequently. In this video I break down the possible reasons for these wakes and what you can try doing to fix it - ruclips.net/video/1ztReVnfU2g/видео.html I hope this helps!
We did 10pm for bed when he was a newborn but once he was like 3 months old he was able to go to bed at 7:30 and sleep well. You'll get the earlier bedtime soon!
Well my kid falls asleep at 10pm till now and he is already 2 years old. He has phases when he is willing to go earlier, but usually that's how it is. We are in a bed much earlier between 18-19 pm reading, singing, cuddling. Sometimes I fell asleep earlier than him and he continues reading or he goes to his dad in another room, sometimes we just speak and cuddle till ca 10pm and then fall asleep together. After that he sleeps till morning quite well. It was like that almost his whole life. Even as a newborn, he was able to sleep almost a whole night, he just falls asleep late. For me it is difficult because I am not an evening person, but I guess it could be worse..
I start putting my newborn to bed at 10.30pm because too soon then they wont sleep through the night. So around 11 ish he dozes off and around 6am he wakes up for breakfast.
I would say the only thing I don’t agree with is burping. I’ve noticed with all three of my babies that if I don’t burp them they are more likely to spit up. You can gently rock or bounce your baby to get them to burp and it can be very soothing for them to be burped this way. It also seems to be a little more effective than patting.
Often when I don't change my daughter at night, by morning she is soaked in urine. She is wearing the correct diaper size so I don't know how to fix this.
@@EmmaHubbard thanks for that tip. Mine does not tolerate even a slightly wet diaper and wakes up 2-3 times every night with a wet diaper. I'll try this to see if it makes any difference to use a bigger more absorbent diaper and make sure I put "butt paste" on her at night even if she isn't red because her skin is so sensitive. I am not getting a full sleep cycle most of the time and it's wearing on me. I've never left a wet diaper on her because she does have such sensitive skin. Now I guess I've already conditioned her to wake up through the night.
I wish you would speak about older babies too. I have a 8 months old and I don't know how to put my baby to sleep earlier in the evening. Often he falls asleep, but it's just a nap and after that he can stay awake until midnight. 🙈
The best tip I've ever got about sleep is that while you can't control when they fall asleep, you can control when they wake up. And while everyone around me advised me against ever waking a peacefully sleeping baby, this is really the advice I needed when my first was around that age. Taking control of his wake time, combined with his age-appropriate wake windows is what helped me regain any sense of structure back then. He is 2 now and I plan on using this method again if any problems should arise. Good luck!!
Hi Mari, it's hard to say exactly why your little one is having a nap in the evenings and then staying awake until midnight. It might be due to his nap schedule - so he might be having too much sleep in the day or not enough. It might be helpful to download the pdf I have on a New Parent's Guide to Naps (link is in the description box) to look at what 8 month olds typically do during the day and their total sleep needs. Also making sure the bedroom at night is quiet, dark and cool might also be helpful in lengthening that first stretch of sleep at night.
Oh wow. Sorry about that. Must be difficult getting by with barely any sleep. My 7 month old wakes up a few times at night (it was down to two times before we moved continents and are now 7 hours ahead) but he has managed to go down between 7 and 8pm now that we are settled (took him 2 weeks to adjust). What has helped us is 1) routine. His nights are pretty much the same, either shower feed and sleep or feed and sleep. I did this consistently for the first 6 weeks of his life and he adjusted to it such that if he was not in bed by 7 he would start crying. 2) making sure he is well fed. He is a poor feeder and has been since he was born. He feeds for all of 2 minutes every feed. So before bed I try to offer the boob a couple of times till I am certain he is full. Now that he eats I make sure he eats before bed. Then I breast feed him to activate those hormones that make him sleepy. Lastly, and I know this is controversial for some, but I cosleep. Before we moved he had started sleeping in his bed for the most part but after the move he’s been extra clingy and only sleeps next to me. I am a light sleeper so I am comfortable with it. If he wakes up and touches me he will go back to sleep if he is not hungry. Plus breastfeeding him isn’t so bad coz I don’t need to get out of bed. Bonus: he started sucking his fingers after a few weeks and that soothes him when he wakes up and isn’t hungry. If you haven’t tried any of these, please do and tell me how it goes. And if you pray, pray for the little one. God does hear prayers.
I’ve never heard of a newborn not having a bowel movement at night. My baby who is now 12 weeks has and has had a bowel movement every night and I get up to change him at least 3 times at night between the hours of 9pm - 6am. I think you have to take advice on babies with a grain of salt because all babies are different. I burp my baby at least twice a night and if I don’t he will stay up until I do and he has no problem going back to sleep after a diaper change or burping so I don’t think we should deter people from doing these things. Lastly, my newborn goes to sleep from 7/7:30pm to 6am so not sure how true “natural late bedtime” truly is but ok.

Our baby started before eight weeks! How did you deal with it?
@@hadassah9323 we used some clove powder to numb his gums and a vibrating teether. And cuddles. Lying down seemed to make it worse, so sat him upright for a few minutes. What about you? What helped?
May I ask.. how do you know that they are teething?
@@swedee5870I literally just told my dr today I thought my 3 mo old was teething and he shut me down on it because he’s too young 😅 sooo much drool and hates being laid down
Great video! The tips you shared on how to improve a baby's sleep by avoiding these three common mistakes were very practical and helpful. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us!
It's my pleasure! I hope it helps!
I'd love to read about the study you mentioned! Would you be able to link or reference studies you mention in your videos? I never know where to look for more info and it would be so helpful. Thanks for another great video!
I was wondering this too!
My mind is blown (wish I knew sooner). I have definitely been trying to get my baby to sleep earlier in the evening. He is nearly 3 months now but we still have some nights were he is up late and I am wondering, what am I doing wrong. These videos are so helpful, especially for myself as a first time parent ❤
I look forward to reading the pdf
Thankyou for sharing these to everyone
Thanks so much! It's so good to hear that these videos are helping you navigate parenthood. ❤
Also I think bedtime false starts are something most parents do, as the days can be long some times and they do get fussy in the evenings!
My baby is 3 month old as well and we’re having the same problem with sleeping 😕🥹‼️
Yes! I’ve been doing the same thing. She gets so fussy so I assume she needs to sleep because nothing else seems to calm her down.
I'm right in this phase and feel smug for having figured out a few of these tips by trial and error. I'm very fortunate bc my daughter sleeps for 4-6 hours at a time at night most days.
That’s great you were able to figure these tips out by trial and error. Sounds like you are both getting some sleep which is great!
Great video! Thanks Emma :)
What about literally same issue happening but to our (almost) 5 month old boy?
Can I do these with a newborn... (My newborn is 12 days old)
the no burping or changing kind of scares me.
Or is this for an older child?
Thanks for all your videos, so helpful! Our baby is 5 months old but is waking up the way you describe in the first stretch (and later, too). What could it be?
Very helpful thank you so much. Love your channel❤
Thanks so much💕
I wish i watched this when my baby was a newborn instead of stressing out so much about false starts
They get a lot of us!
Emma, thank you so much for these videos!
You're so welcome!
@lindsaykarashay3648that’s silly
Yet still wondered if I was doing thing “right”
Sounds like you were doing exactly what your little one needed. Late bedtimes are very normal in the newborn stage.
Many thanks for sharing.

What study did you reference about burping?
Co-sleeping without swaddles has worked for us x 3. ❤ It's the best way to get plenty of rest!
What's wrong with leaving him aline in his room if he is in a safe bassinet or crib and you have a monitor with you?
I am still on a late bedtime (9pm) with my five and a half month old. What can I do to help bring this forward?
Is he teething?
I didn’t burp my baby at night, but did during the day and found that worked perfectly for her.
That’s great you were able to figure out what worked for your little one! Thanks so much for sharing!
Since newborn my baby sleep at 9 pm to 5 or 6 am. And that's fine cause my baby just like natural alarm for me to do fajr prayer 😊
Does the Download button for nap guide don't work only for me?
That is a newborns natural sleep cycle. Keep encouraging the schedule you want and it will switch naturally
What’s considered a normal bedtime for a 7 month old?
Great video as always 🙂
Good job!
I didn’t do this 😅 all 3 of my kids when they were newborn went to bed when I went to bed

Hi! You would be exhausted! To help your little one sleep for longer it's helpful to identify why they are waking so frequently. In this video I break down the possible reasons for these wakes and what you can try doing to fix it - ruclips.net/video/1ztReVnfU2g/видео.html
I hope this helps!
My baby bedtime is 10pm while seeing others talking about their babies’s bedtime is 7,8pm. I just thought I’m a bad parent. 😟
Not at all! Your little one is normal :)
I need help with 14m old sleep
I start putting my newborn to bed at 10.30pm because too soon then they wont sleep through the night. So around 11 ish he dozes off and around 6am he wakes up for breakfast.
Thanks for sharing!
Great video
Thank you :)
2:20 ohh yes. we watched 3 season of vikings while this phase and now she is early tired.
Such a great show! All that action would have definitely helped you stay awake!
@@EmmaHubbardHaha yes, i miss the first month, but it is also good to have some free time. even it is just 1 hour
Often when I don't change my daughter at night, by morning she is soaked in urine. She is wearing the correct diaper size so I don't know how to fix this.
Trying the diaper that is the next size up helps as it can absorb more liquid before it leaks. Hope that helps.
@@EmmaHubbard Makes sense 😅 I'll try that!
Emma my baby is 11 months and still waking up every 1 hour
Are the lateral incisors erupting?
I didn’t know about the no sleep paralysis thing! I wonder if I woke her up in the early days without even realizing it. Oops! 😮
That's totally crazy 10pm bedtime
My 7month old baby doesn't sleep well night sometimes I didn't sleep at all
Hopefully some of my videos on sleep give you some things to try with your little one and you both get a bit more sleep. Sending you best wishes!
@@EmmaHubbard my baby have tongue tie can tongue tie cause sleeping problems
@@shabwann since my baby was born he have sleep problem till today I don't know what to do its so difficult for me
