Thanks for watching! Does your baby love sitting in the stroller? My daughter recently made the switch and she is so much happier and the walks are more pleasant now too😂 Don't forget to get your free 0 - 12 months old developmental milestone chart here: brightestbeginning.com/12monthmilestones/
I just took my 4 month old on a walk yesterday in his new stroller and I now realize I had him in at too vertical of an angle. Thank you for this video and btw your daughter is so cute 🥲🥰❤️
Thanks so much for this video, Emma! So timely. In the UK, NHS advises not to use a stroller until 6 months old to avoid excessive pressure on the baby's spine and bone development. How concerned should we be about the issues with the baby's spine? Our son has just turned 3 months and has already outgrown his bassinet. The web suggests quite contradicting answers, unfortunately. I know you cite research in some videos; please let us know if there is anything relevant to this topic. Thanks again.
Hi, did you get any information on this? I'm also from the UK and my son is currently 4 months old. I haven't heard of this advice. We haven't taken him out in a bassinet or stroller yet. We've just used a carseat so far. We're thinking of taking him out for a walk soon, so we'll need to use thr bassinett or stroller.
Used the bassinet pram 9 months until my son was able to sit up by himself. Layed on his back or later sometimes on his tummy to see more (just for a couple of minutes). He loved it :) We bought a stroller when he was about 10 months old
We switched our twins out of the bassinets at 6 months a few weeks ago because one of them was trying to pull up (unsuccessfully). They're a long way from being too big for the bassinets, I just worried if they pull up successfully when my back is turned paying for groceries or something. 😬 I was pleased to see they can both sit up straight in the stroller with it all of the way upright.
Thank you so much Emma for the lovely teaching video ❤ it's came up at perfect timing for me. Today my little one was really distressed to sit in the pram, your video help me to switch her in to sitting position and she loves it😊
Thank you for the video! This came at a good time for me. We didn't switch until month 6 (didn't know we should haha). He sometimes lean towards one side, so we need to keep his body straight all the time. The towels is a great idea!
Hi. Is it ok for new born to be in a full reclined stroller instead of a bassinet? And if doable, does it need extra stuff in the stroller for extra safety?
Thanks Emma! I like your video. I have a question, is it good for 8 months old baby to use magic stroller? My baby can sit without support, stand and cruise. Thanks
Thanks!! This is so informational 😊...i I just want to know what to do when baby just keep chewing the belts sitting the pram. Is it normal? How to manage this chewing habit... Please guide
Unfortunately it’s very normal. They love to chew. You could give them something else to chew (like a toy) but it is likely they will continue chewing the strap because it is close by and easy to access
I was wondering when we should start switching as my little one is looking a little long in his basenett now. Question: What should I do if he falls asleep in the pram? Should I recline him back further or back to completely flat? Our basenett turns into the stroller part rather than a separate entity. Thanks xx
Hi Emma! Perfect timing for us too! I want to ask- at what angle does the back part of the stroller has to be to ensure the baby is not "sitting" (my son isn't sitting on his own yet)? In the video, the baby is sitting in the upright position although technically not sitting on its own, so I'm confused.. Thank you!
Hi! The angle of the backrest really depends on your little one. And how you tell what is the right angle is their head position. With their head resting on the seat raise the angle slightly. When your bubs head falls forward or there is no longer a gap between their chin and chest (so chin is resting on chest) it is too upright and needs to be reclined more. I hope that helps!
It seems really hard to find a stroller with an adjustable footrest. Getting towels to stay on a non-adjustable one is tricky. Has anyone had good luck with this? Any tips? Thanks!
Questions sorry. That pram looks extremely adjustable in terms of angle, what is it? I've not seen them like that before. Also, instead of roled up towels, is there a product that doesn't move around so much so it's easy to get baby in and out? My baby from day 1 would never lie down for a walk, he was only happy in the car seat which of course he couldn't be in for long anyway. For the next, if i can avoid a car seat then that would be good but i dont know where to find such an adjustable pram for their younger years
Hi Tazzy! The pram i show in the video is a Baby Jogger - City Select Double Pram. Unfortunately I am not aware of a product out there which can provide a baby with side support. I tend to put the towels in when the baby is already sitting in the pram and remove them just before I take them out of the pram. I don't find they move around because the fit is snug. Hopefully you're able to find a stroller which your little one enjoys sitting in.
In Norway there is this company called Easygrow that make memoryfoam support pillow for prams and strollers 🤩 they have a lot of smart product for babies 😊
😂 I think so too but I am a little bias. She is even cuter with her siblings. She absolutely adores them and tries to get in on their games by yelling! 😂

Absolutely perfect timing. Thank you so much for your videos. I have learnt so much about how I can help my daughter as she grows because of them.
Thanks so much for this lovely comment!❤️
It's so nice to hear these videos are helping to make your parenting journey a little easier

Oh that is so good to hear. Hopefully you are both getting out and able to get some sunshine!
@Emma Hubbard Yeah we both are enjoying it 💞Thank you so much for your response. Hope you and family doing good 🥰
I feel like you were listening to me 😅 i was wondering this yesterday and you sent me this video to my email. Perfect timing. Thanks so much
So glad this came out just in time for your little one!
I look forward to your videos. Priceless information ❤❤ Thank you

No worries at all. Hope the towels help to make the trips in the stroller a little more enjoyable!
Amazing video, as always. It is good that your son is born a little earlier than my daughter, so I am just in-time and up-to-date :D
It has worked out perfectly
You explain so well
Do you have any tips for the harness and the baby’s groin area? Especially for baby boys. Thank you!
Just what I was looking for. Great video. May I ask what model is the stroller in the video? Thank you
Hopefully you found it helpful. The stroller in the video is a Baby Jogger - City Select.
Its really true. My 4months old she doesnt want to lay down instead want to sit upright. Or else she cries.
Hopefully once you set up the pram so they can sit up, the walks outside will be much more pleasant
Thank you so much Emma. And is it okey if baby sleeps in a sitting position in the stroller? My baby likes to fall asleep in it?
Such a great video! A question, what are your thoughts regarding the so called bucket seats vs. the regular seats that can open fully flat?
Thank you 😊
You're welcome 😊
The stroller in the video looks perfect can you tell us the brand or include a link? Thanks 😀
It looks like the Baby Jogger City Select
very informative, thank you
Glad it was helpful!
Cute baby! 👶
Thanks!!! She is a little toddler now! She’s growing up way too quickly.
Do you have any specific recommendations for strollers or specifically a stroller for a newborn and a toddler?

Does the baby need to be buckled in while lying in the bassinet pram?

Clasp in Our stroller is so far that the baby (now 11 months!) still slumps. Any advice?
