Sometimes I see stuff like this and it makes me worry that people who spend years learning to do this by hand will now not get work anymore, but then I realize that all of the advancements in things like this become tools for a newer generation who will utilize them fully and even create more. I still do fear that AI will overtake most creative work in the world though.

Do not fear! We still need keyframes, which must be drawn with great ceativity. All this program is helping with is the animation: it makes the process way more faster. You don't need to draw every single frame anymore, the AI only fills in the gaps, but the animator's and illustrator's work is still much needed. Only their time will be more to create :)
at the end of the day, no matter how far things advance, I believe there will still be at least some market for hand drawn art. Compare Movies and Theater; sure film is more popular now but we still have Broadway and every major city has multiple massive live theaters. There is no substitute for "handmade" or "live" for those who are looking for it. As far as the skillet becoming obsolete in a lot of jobs, it's probable, but that's the case with all trade work. If a plumber could only install plumbing systems from the 60s he would go out of business, so he needs to keep up to date on new technology or else he will not be providing as valuable a service. AI in art has pretty much already been happening in a very ideals-only way. Sure it isn't actually an AI but "Formulaic" music and films are 60% of what is put out now. think of all of the movies, games, songs that just sound like everything else, they've been made that way to attract as many people as possible. So AI driven art will probably have good mass appeal and make good money, but the connection someone has with the artist is what makes art personally special, and that is why art will never die. Thank you for coming to my literal Ted Talk.
Been having quite a lot of fun with this software, i'm still amazed it's free. But one thing, i would love if you guys could make a video explaining how to make smooth transitions between sections. Usually it's a big issue when using it on a scene that has various keyframes since it just snaps abruptly as if it were a new render instead of blending it out. Maybe this was already covered by a member of the community if so i would really appreciate someone linking me to it.
@@oceanhavenblue You are right, i had not tried it before since i just assumed it was sequencing it automaticaly instead of me having to drag them to the timeline but it's actually doing more than that. Having doing it with the export to After Effects way now it's actually more clear where i need to make more keyframes so it helps on that proccess as well instead of just guessing blindly. Thank you and thanks to the EB Synth team.
Great app! The only glitch I have come across is that when the list of key frame to sequence frame matches ends up going to the bottom of the screen, it is not possible to scroll down to the bottom of the window...it is simply cut off, making the "Run All" button not visible and inaccessible.
whats the kind of bleed away from the subject during a mask you can do like if im out by 5 pixles is this to much? or does it still find the subjects easily? sorry my english sucks

It says “EbSynth” cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified. macOS cannot verify that this app is free from malware. I know its BETA but seems it been in BETA for years! Hi there. The error says that your source video doesn't match the resolution of your keyframes. The keyframe you paint has to be the same size as the video frame you paint over. :) Hope this helps.

Some of the best programs are free. Blender, unreal engine, etc..and now ebsynth. This is amazing programming.
With EbSynth you always want to know how many painted keyframes were needed to achieve these results.
It's really cool to see it used on shading cartoons. I didn't know it could do that. I thought it only worked on real world video.
We were surprised as well! But apparently it works! :D
Amazing how EbSynth can digitally remaster animation and film!
I just downloaded and hopefully will make something cool with it! Thank you for making ebsynth

I was thinking if it's averaging 5 frames, you may just paint it yourself, or on moments with lots of transitions you may need more samples

The Sheep and the Goats

37 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’
