I was born in Texas and I have returned many many times. I shrimped out of the St. Bernard River & sold them all the way back to San Antonio! Your channel is fasinating and I just love seeing Shiney Happy People have fun fishing & cudo's on that sweet largemouth~! I currently live in Brooksville, Florida and head often to Tampa Bay to fish the skyway bridge. It is AWESOME & you guys shoud go there~! Tight Lines < 👍

Back in 71 my brother and me were fishing by the boat ramp there and some guys withaboat were cleaning hardheads . We asked them what they were doing and they said " we got a lot of Ocean Catfish " we said OK ! they had Mich plates on their truck ,they pulled their boat all the way down here .
They are "hardheads" -- hardhead catfish with three poisonous barbs that will ruin your entire trip if nicked. Fish artificial lures in the warmer months to avoid a hookup.

😂 yes they def are real fish! On saltwater they are just very easy to catch and I was really trying to target trout or reds or drum.
