Thank you for saying this. Politics has become so polarising that people seem to only be able to be civil to those who agree with them. It's become so tribal and divisive, which is what is truly killing this country.

Having strong political views absolutely does not mean we should be rude to those who don’t agree with us or lose our sense of humour.
From what you say we might disagree about much but a civil discussion can open your eyes to things you might not have thought about. I’ve just heard a discussion first broadcast in the early 70’s with. Enoch Powell, Michael Foot, Reggie Maudlin and Roy Jenkins.
