Ever since you can't purchase from Amazon on a Google device and Amazon wanting you only to use their music app, it's been more and more difficult to download music that you've paid for. Thanks for this; it did the trick!
It worked! I wanted to download my Amazon song purchase so I could find the .mp3 file to use in a video editing project. Your video helped me to do exactly that. Thank you so much! Very helpful.
Might have been stated already but if you click on the number in front of the song it turns into a box you can check and download more than one song at a time.
you can do it with the app. Also to download multiple songs. left click on the first song. then scroll down to how many songs you want to download. hover the mouse over the song and hold shift and click the left mouse button. now a window will open on the right of the screen. dont click download on that window. what you want to do now is right click the mouse and a new window will popup. click down load on that window. done.

Shout out to all our techies in the comments below for the feedback on this video! Thanks to all of your investigative work, we have learned there is a method for downloading multiple songs which wasn't covered in the video 🕵♂🕵♀: First, follow this video to get to the download page, then follow these directions to download multiple songs: DIRECTIONS: 1. Click on the time stamp for a song. Empty check boxes will then appear to the far left before everyone song. 2. Check all the songs you wish to download (there is a "Select All" option at the top of the page; unfortunately, it didn't work for me at this moment) 3. Look for the bar at the top of the page which includes the options "Select All", "Add To Playlist", "..." and an "X." Click on the "..." option. 4. This shows a download option that allows you to download all the songs you checked. Music can then be saved to a location on your device. Items will be stored in a Compressed (Zipped) Folder. Further updates will be posted here. 😀 Shop the Amazon Storefront today! www.amazon.com/shop/pixelscracked
THANK YOU!!! This is so helpful. I’m trying to purchase music online from some services- MP3s-and I want to download them onto my computer and put them on a device that I purchased for my elderly father so he can listen to music. What a nightmare it’s been! This is so helpful, I couldn’t figure out where the music files go when you download them! Also using a Mac has made it extra hard because Apple Music does not give you MP3s. What a PITA.
I’m doing it and it’s working!!! Thank you thank you thank you. 🙏🏻 For anyone who may be reading this and looking to solve this issue I also found that I could not use safari browser to do this. It told me that the “Amazon music file could not be opened because it was not a valid download file”. So I used Chrome to do this and it worked fine.
Well it looks like Amazon has closed this loophole. I am paying for Amazon Unlimited. I can play UHD on my android device with an DAC donge. But on my Macbook Pro, the Amazon Web App will NOT allow UHD even though I connected and adtivated my DAC dongle on Midi App. Apple Music has no issues btw. WHen I follow these instructions, the download locally feature has been removed. Bummer.
Music has disappeared from my Digital Library. I'll Explain. One Album I purchased in 2013 is not in my Digital Library. I purchased it with Amazon Mp3. The Album is no longer being sold so I had to contact Amazon and they are trying to work on it. Basically the physical CDs was a 3 CD set so I purchased the MP3 set through Amazon and it lived in my Digital Library for years. The entire 3rd CD of songs and Remixes is now missing in my Digital Library. On the Amazon Music Store and Music Service they only show and sell the set with 37 tracks. When I purchased the MP3s it was a 43 track set. I have proof from my older non upgraded computer. The newest Amazon Music app doesn't even show the purchased Playlist like it has for years. Deceptive.
I am a PRIME member and have "downloaded " music to my Android phone, the Amazon player seems to need an internet connecton to play ? It didnt used to ! So I am moving to MP3 Player device (Sandisk). Can I download Prime membership music ? Not officially puirchased ? I appreciate your clear and effective video !
Hi Jack! Well... I will say Amazon Music is good... BUT...It's not great. 😅 There are some inconsistencies that need work, but I'm sure, like other streaming services, Amazon only cares to push streaming. The fact that they even offer music to buy is almost a gift in itself. 👀
yes i can do this trying to amazon like a streaming service where you pay a monthly fee but be able to get the music not to owe but just using it when i have a gig... like other streaming services like beatport
Hi Dawn, If you are talking about saving that actual MP3 file on your device, I was not able to do this at the time this video was made unfortunately. But if things change, I'll try to post an update. :)
Thanks for the tip. I have heard that Amazon on a web browser is limited to 256kz and that's the why they're so many fake bit rate music files in the internet.
So, my bad for thinking this vid was for my subject and it was not. Not your fault, but I will ask. This is about if one has MUSIC UNLIMITED. Paid or trial offer that is. Say you have songs or what be in a play list or saved library. I do not see a download option for anything even to listen off line. Again- this is not purchased ( and or in that section like you show in vid to do all like like in vid ) however the unlimited music monthly is a purchase. Another words- I can't get even the songs to computer file to start- no oprion on music unlimited. Next, I assume they would be encrypted in any event on computer. Thus- to where it reverts back to Amazon to play. That said- any work around info? Or I am gonna assume one needs a party software to decrypt to file itself to be a DL and played in a differ format. Whole subject is for- Windows 10 pc, Goggle Chrome.
Update following day- software is needed to grab, covert and redo format. I found a good one that does one or batch playlist. Coverts to any and even Wav ( of which is not needed as YT music is under 250k or so to start mostly ).
@@ethanott223 9/17/2022- TUNEBOTO. Been doing it for years. Just did 288 songs last week. Trial ver and find out. Note- trial ver will NOT download a song longer then 3min. You need pro ver for that. I have Amazon Prime and tried to follow your directions but failed. I did find the song and created a playlist with that one song however I couldn't find a buy and download option. That is correct. You just have the license to use it. 🙂 But at least, if the song is removed online, if you have it downloaded offline, you still have access to it. 🫡
