I'm from Latin America, it's even harder here. I normally spend like 5 minutes buying a game on Steam with my debit card; yesterday and today I literally wasted more than 5 hours of my life attempting to buy a mp3 of a game OST (it didn't work).
@@K_092-KXYeah. I really wanted to support the composer while getting some music to study offline, but I can't believe buying a digital recording of a song is almost impossible.
I CANNOT express my gratitude enough for this video! I've been pulling my hair out tryiing to figure out how to just get the mp3 onto my computer! TYTYTYTYTYTRYTYTYTYTY SO much for taking the time to explain this! I can finally update my music library now!!!! *bows*
Thank you, thank. you, thank you for taking the time to post this. I am making videos for my grandparents funerals and was getting so frustrated with Apple Music not letting me use the songs. Buying the MP3 from Amazon worked great!
I’ve been trying to do this ever since those bastards at Amazon keep trying to force me to subscribe even though I’ve bought and paid for my music. I keep getting interrupted with ads and can’t access my songs without internet access. It never used to be like this so it’s definitely a feature not a glitch. Can’t do it from my phone or iPad to the MP3 player that I bought solely for this reason.
I have a couple of questions. I have lots of purchase music from Amazon. Do you have Amazon purchased music in your Apple Music? Do you pay Apple to use their Music platform? I have figured out how to purchase music I been having troubles using the Amazon free APP and playing my purchases music and playlist.
What to do when I pre-ordered an album, and it's not letting me download when album release. I per ordered an album that comes out in October. A new single was released today. When I click on it. There are no download options. It's asking me to pay $1.29 for a song. When I already preorder the whole album. I was able to download the first two singles the day i preorder. They show up in my purchase history. But if I click on them outside of purchase history. It's also asking for $1.29 per song. As the new singles are being released, they are not showing up in my purchase history.
Here's what I've resorted to doing. A lot of it is just too much trouble to get an MP3 file that you OWN!!!! I bought a high quality voice recorder, go LINE IN from the headphone output, and steal the music. Not because I'm a thief, because they made it too hard to purchase the music. And you can't tell the difference it's high Fidelity, plus I got it free.
The Whole Amazon Music Library and Purchasing process is a total crock o.s. It feels like going back 20 years in App interfaces. It's beyond me why you simply can't buy and download via the Library Interface (Oh yes that's right.. Amazon want to force you to subscribe rather than purchase).
Why the hell is buying an MP3 so hard now!?!?! Everything is streaming and subscriptions and it's slowly stealing our autonomy. 😭
Because it sadly makes companies more money than just buying the song once.
I couldn't agree more. It is extremely infuriating.
Thank you so much for this video!! I miss Napster- it was wayyyy easier back then 😢

So even if you pay for a subscription, you have to buy an individual song to download it to your computer
Thank you for your help. I was having a nightmare trying to buy a single song.

How do I listen to an excerpt of the song I want to purchase to make sure it is the version I want?
do all songs cost money?
Thank you very much!
Thank you. Was bought to pull out my hair. WTF. What are they doing?
