Interesting, is that the screen is showing (37) for the maximum number of games, but the Wikipedia page indicates only 35 maximum games as Alex won 18-15.
@@dkizxpt-su3ze it's something I've often heard mentioned on TV over the years (been watching snooker a long time). Looking online I cant find any sources to confirm (or deny). If you do find anything let us know. Cloths were a lot heavier in the past, balls too (not sure when they were changed) -- which would have made some of today's play almost impossible, so I'm not necessarily saying it was easier then...
All good things come to an end... thanks very much for this series!
Amazing how aggressive these fellas play especially Reardon. Ronnie these days doesn't even play that type of game. Great video!!! Thxs
I subscribed cuz I like your style!!!
Great to watch, all of us here at: Chesworth Cues really enjoyed watching that 1982 final.
Nice to see Reardon. Great video, as ever, very well crafted
Ahh, you put in the scorebar at the bottom (I was confused by that for a while), well done!
Reardon had the greatest snooker brain of them all in my opinion Alex and john higgins are next on list
Yes we may forget how good Reardon was; maybe the ‘grandad’ now of recent play… very influential, even of the Rocket.
The final frame turned out to be protected by copyright.
Ray Reardon was (is) a class act. Very straight rest arm tho! His eyes very far the cue ball!
Brillant video. Subscribed!

Bizzarely the screen changes from 37 to 35 at 17:03 !
You see how attacking Reardon and Higgins are and you realise what utter nonsense it is that Hendry invented the attacking game
These pockets look a lot bigger or friendlier then today’s
They were bigger. Was it late eighties or early nineties they changed them
@@sdrtcacgnrjrc Nonsense. The pockets were smaller back then

@@sdrtcacgnrjrc That's my point. There is no way snooker was easier back then.
