    That's just me playing on my Yamaha DGX-220 improvising the melody with my right hand while controling the chords with my left hand. The chords are fed into pre-programmed styles so they come out sounding like a full accompaniment.

  • @elfinerisa
    @elfinerisa 2 года назад +11

    Jeremy made it look so easy but it's not as easy as it seems. Still it is soooo calming to watch Jeremy turn the square into the rose in less than a minute (I remember the pain with all those prefolds and stuffs)
    Hopefully I can learn to do it the Jeremy way too. Just tried it and while it doesn't look half as good, it surely takes much less time than the Kawasaki Rose....take much shorter to realise that you have had a failure than to spend 10minutes and realised your isn't going to work :D

  • @jeremyshaferorigami
    @jeremyshaferorigami  12 лет назад +8

    Good you figured that out! Flashers are based on the Kawasaki roses, so this model is really like a rose flasher, but you probably reverse-folded the four petals instead of valley-folding them, right?

    I think I once learned how to fold this at a BARF (Bay Area Rapid Folders) meeting, but I forgot. Recently I came across a picture of it on the internet and was able to figure out again how to fold it by looking at the picture. I don't have the book, but since origami diagrams include step-by-step pictures for how to make the model, you don't really need to understand the written language to be able to follow the diagrams (though it sometimes helps).

    Hi, just a one question which paper you use ?

  • @Bhawna03
    @Bhawna03 8 лет назад +48

    Dude why are you in such a hurry? We know that you're pretty amazing at this already, but even your "slower" version is incredibly fast for us. Even after pausing the video multiple times to catch up, it's still pretty difficult to understand. The rose looks awesome though!

    • @jeremyshaferorigami
      @jeremyshaferorigami  8 лет назад +4

      +Bhawna03 Try using RUclips's slow motion feature. I know it works at least on the web browser Google Chrome which I think you can download for free on google.com . To use the slow motion feature, press the little gear icon at the bottom right of the video screen, click on 'normal' and then click on the speed .5 or .75. The cool part is that the pitch of the voice stays the same with .75 even though the video is slower. With .5 speed, the sound doesn't work. Hope that helps.

    • @not.aghost
      @not.aghost 8 лет назад

      +JeremyShaferOrigami you're right with that, but using that feature removes a lot of the quality of the video.

    Guys, stop complaining he is too fast, look at the time after the speed run, not even half way, there is clearly other parts, guess what after the speed run he does it again, this time slower
    The reason why he went fast the first time was because , well the name says it. It's so short and easy you can do it in one minute
