I can't wait to watch James increasingly desperate attempts to convince Mason that actually all the Jurassic Park films are not of roughly equivalent qaulity over the course of this series.
Look even though the original JP is a timeless classic the important thing is that you will review JP3 which not only features the *amazing* Spinosaurus but also inarguably the greatest scene in cinematic history where a velociraptor sitting in a plane turns to face Alan Grant and says, "ALAN"
I honestly love JP3. Having read the book since I spent that summer and most summers grounded, I was actually kinda disappointed by JP1. So JP3 will always have a special place in my heart. And that scene actually never bothered me. I mean we spent a whole movie being ok with Lex being a hacker but we're gonna draw the line at a dream sequence? If anything all the dinos should be talking by this point.
I will say that A. Grant and Sattler were asked to sign off on the park’s safety, not authenticity. The incident with the worker caused the investors to be nervous about potential safety and liability issues, so they wanted dinosaur experts to see if the park’s security was up to snuff. And B. The reason there was only a handful of employees was because it was the skeleton crew while most of the staff was leaving on the boat for the weekend and a new set of staff was coming on board, obviously delayed due to the storm. That’s why Sam Jackson’s character kept making announcements about going to the docks to the staff. Then at one point Nedry says “you can run this whole park from this room with minimal staff for up to three days”
Hammond is evil Walt Disney….can you get more evil then Disney? And still appeal to families as a happy kind grandfather?…Disney was pretty self serving and evil….and the company definitely still is all of that today.

Couldn't help snort laughing at work listening to Maso say Nedry defeated the lil dinosaur in single combat!
Now I think we need a Jurassic park marketing video.
The more I think about it, the more I agree with Mason. Wow, my world is rocked. Thank you guys, great information as always.
I am genuinely shocked, After all of this talk about Mr.Kryten's writings the term smeghead never made it from the book to the film.. 🤷♂️
Not to be that guy but it’s Crichton
@@evlinalw325 Brilliant
Smeghead? He remembers me!
Not gonna lie, watching the movie at 5-6 Then reading the book recently....it's VERY different.
Damn....you boys hit different when I wake up with a migraine.
This is all nonsense.
Yes. I agree.

Mason's Right, they are about the same
