To me the reason that the high ground part doesn't bother me is because unlike Darth Maul Obi Wan didn't get cocky like Maul did that's why Obi Wan won that duel cause Maul got cocky and he didn't expected for Obi Wan to pull that move but in revenge of the sith Obi Wan was prepare for Anakin and he wasn't gonna underestimate Anakin like Maul did with him if you think about it Maul, Grievous and Anakin all 3 of them lost their duels against Obi Wan cause they underestimated his skill the only one that didn't was Count Dukko and both times he face him he destroy Obi Wan in combat

How dare you leave out this one bit of green trivia: all of the villains in the prequels reflect Anakin as he falls to the dark side in some way. Grevious is the extreme of what Anakin could have become as a cyborg, Count Dooku is a fallen Jedi, and Maul is like angry or something. I like all of those characters individually for what they are but it would have been interesting just to roll those elements into Maul as a singular villain for the entire prequels, since he also becomes a cyborg etc etc
I think the Maul one has to do with Anakin's anger at being raised as a slave. if the Republic worked, then slavery would be abolished. But even when Anakin is rescued by Jedi, they leave everyone else as slaves. Maul comes from a planted that is F***ed but produces good force users and the Jedi simply rescue the ones that are worth the time.
The voice you use for George Lucas sounds a lot like the fake voice Jerry Sienfeld used in one episode where he was pretending to be someone else on the phone.
I always thought of Darth vader's name as originating from invader. Like Darth sidious is from insidious. Also, Darth vader does invade a lot of places in the films: the rebel ship, hoth base, and the jedi temple.
Vader can't be the one now cos he dint kill palpatine n the empire just became the first order, didn't even put a dent in the "darkside" they were still able to construct a bigger n better death star, that was a death planet supporting life an everything
Agree to disagree. the prophecy said that the chosen one would bring balance to the force. At the start of Episode 4 there are 2 Jedi and 2 Sith. e.g. balance. The mistake that the Jedi made was thinking that they would want this.

I hope to end up like this when I'm in my late 30's
“Anakin, I’m a Sith Lord, deadass”
“Bruh no cap?”
‘Anakin, you know the original working title for episode 4 was blue harvest ?’
‘Bruh no cap?’

They should totally do that next time they talk about star wars!

Is it bad that I watch the regular one and then re-listen when they post the extended?
That's... why I'm here.
Because of Obi-Wan?
I watch the extended one first and then watch the regular one for the visuals lol
nope. wish they just put the whole hour for the regular CoG lmao

There is a super nerd answer to why Obi-Wan was confident enough in his abilities to jump into an army of battle droids to fight Grievous.
