@@hellocatwalkcity I’d love to hear your thoughts! Personally, I feel like Vancleef is starting to feel a bit overhyped and less distinctive. I’ve noticed a lot of influencers wearing their pieces, which makes me lean toward seeking out more unique items. I also appreciate fairly priced pieces, and it seems like the well-known luxury brands often have a much higher markup compared to what I can find at local jewelers or smaller shops.

Hey, I'm considering the pearl chain (7 pearl one) and the pearl stud earring for Christmas. How long have you had yours? Has yours tarnished? Do you wear yours in the shower?
@@QuietlyPeaceful i had it few months, so far so good, fyi 18k solid gold does not tarnish as it contains 75% of gold which is what the big brands like VCA, Tiff & co all using. For pearls, u can't shower with it, which i don't. Hope it helps :)
@@rubycheah630 Yes, it helps. I'm Indian and new to American brands. We use 22K gold for our thick gold jewellery and hence wasn't sure if 18K tarnishes. Thank you for the reply!
@@QuietlyPeaceful I am Asian btw 😄In fact 14k and 18k are more sturdy which you can wear everyday but in terms of tradable value definitely go for 22k and 24k. Do bear in mind the colour of the chain will not be as orange as 22k. It will be more yellowish as the % of gold is lesser. 😀
@@rubycheah630 hey fellow Asian! Lol 🤗🙏🏻. I think 18K will be lesser yellow? The 22K is more yellow than orange (orange comes from the copper alloy added to make the gold sturdier). Anyways, love the GHW on LV and Chanel as it matches my jewelry and ethnic wear (sarees and salwars).

I recently purchased the new pochette accesoires (the one with the chain & extra zipped pocket inside + 2 card slots) for about USD1,820. I bought it to use the chain with my petite malle but I have surprised myself by using the bag with the vachetta strap quite a bit. All in all, I am happy with the purchase.

I love pearls , the only thing you have to take them off , especially the earrings before showering , I don’t wear mine often. Also my favourite brand is Mikimoto pearls. The clover earrings are cute, may get them for my girl.

I know! I suppose because it’s for my daughter, I bent my own rules! 😅 As for my IG, I’ve lost all my content. They deactivated my account and I’m trying not to be upset over it as I know it has happened to many content creators, but of course, it all feels quite unfair. I set up another account but haven’t been motivated to post much. 😢

I actually feel like even buying the obviously. totally overpriced PA now would still make sense investment wise - I cannot imagine it ever going out of style and that the prices will continue to rise is kind of a given too :)

Hmm maybe it was $1290. You may be right! I honestly don’t remember, but it was definitely the last price before they discontinued this model. I think 22 is a great age to start enjoying some little luxuries. Not too young. Glad your daughter is enjoying it!

Keep it! I think this is the best version of the PA, with a tiny slip pocket and not the latest one that feels too clunky.
Also, I love heirloom pieces because they feel much special and also teaches you to care for stuff because the receiver also wants to do the same.

I appreciate your feedback. I really do love jewelry and learned a lot about pearls while researching this brand. I’m especially impressed with the clover earrings and the pearl earrings with diamonds. Also love the necklaces. These styles suit me and I would have gladly picked them up for myself if I stumbled upon them in a jewelry store. 😊

@@hellocatwalkcity I like the bracelet but I honestly have never seen it in person to inspect the quality and I kinda think that it can be seen as over done as I go back and forth with my opinion.
I personally love individuality yet simplicity if that makes sense but I value your opinion and I enjoy your sensibility and the way you evaluate your clothing and accessories in your uploads so I would personally never get upset. I believe in the end you buy what you want with your money.
