Wish I would’ve seen this before I removed the yellow tint on my ricer civic years ago! I’d go with a 20-35% black tint it’s not crazy dark but still protects the interior bits
Modern film is pretty good clarity. Some carbon and ceramics have a hazy look at a low angle. Dyed stuff is a bit better for clarity you just dont have the same heat rejection quality.
Hey mate, go clear, no tint. I just bought a piece of shit 89 300zx TT, and apparently google knows it's shit, because your interior re-do came up as a recommended video. It's 4am and I've just finished binge watching your project Z. Apparently we bought the same car, because mine seems pretty mechanically sound, touch wood, apart from the clutch. But needs a lot of cosmetic work. So your episodes have been awesome, because I had started to have a few regrets. If anyone is wondering, watching all episodes up till now is about a 12 beer job.
Thanks for the feedback Brother. However we are disappointed that you haven't had at least one beer per episode. Be sure to job on to our Facebook page and post some photos of your ride!
Intake! In my defense, I had watched the first two episodes already on Saturday, so I was really only one short. You said in another comment the spray job was 2500, seems cheap. Had you already done the prep yourself?
Also, you don't want to see my piece of shit yet. She's pretty rough. But she won't be, eventually. After I've sold everything I own to fund this project.. She looks basically the same as yours in ep 1. Without the 2 fast 2 furious interior. Fucked paint, shit wheels (I swear a blind person drove it and parked by feel) and unlike yours, a solid couple of dents in the front left guard. And then there's the shopping cart roller derby she apparently took part in that one time back in the mid 90s after one too many bellini's
Bit of a late response to ya, but my favorite color is probably a deep blue, but I drive a black truck (or Ute for you and your land down under) and it looks amazing. Keep up the great videos m8!
Bit late on this one... heading down to bathurst. So... how many beers to remove the tint off the falcon wagon. 9 windows. Reckon ill pay a hundred bucks.
leave it clear and then for once clean the glass so the car looks ´crisp´. or change the red lug nuts to blue ones and then do a very light blue film so they kinda match and contrast.
@@chickenwing7920 we were careful to ensure that the rear demister wasnt damaged during removal of the window tint and it is indeed still functioning as normal Brother!
Legend. cant believe you responded. love the channel! the into is solid! didnt mean to sound like a dick I may have messed my last one in a small spot and had to fix with silver tape. carry on, n thank you for what you do
Ditch that orange bullshit for some good ol' metho mate. Also if you're after a laugh drop a hand full of flour in the back end of that hair dryer and sit it back on the counter. Be sure to be nearby when it's next used.
I did this on my SC400. It was horrible. Way more fun watching you do it than doing it myself. And the commentary is excellent. Keep it up.
15-20% Ceramic Tint! Functionally dark for hot summer days, not totally blinding for night time driving.

Finally catching up on Intake videos ☺. Dude, that looked painful 😂. But great effort. And tint that sucker dark 👍.
No tint clean factory look ftw👌🏽
It's super tempting. But then again, so is protection from a gazillion degree Summers. If not for me, for my interior trim.
black dark tint, I agree hot summer days you need tint
Finally only waited all day
We think it's worth the wait Brother!
Defently, had to do this many times myself

I think I’d rather pay the $150 😂
But, but... Beer money?!

Defect spec tint. Fave colour Blue. Good job taking that all off. Looks like a shit of a job.
That's right mate! You fuck that tint right off!!
This is relevant to my interests as my zeds tint looks like it was done by steady eddy
Steady Kenji, I believe it was.
crystal clear
Get a mild tint, fave colour is dark Metallic blues
I would keep it clear. My favorite color depends on what it is on though. I love dark blues and grays as well as black.
Just your favourite colour in general. I do like a grey car though.

Clean!!! Thanks again:-)
Hecka's Red tint ;)
Well, it is faster
How much did the spray job cost?
$2500 doors closed, factory colour, every panel needed work. The shop has done near all my work for 10 years.
Intake! Nice, I gotta do similar for my car
No tint. Cleaner the better!
Definitely go ceramic man, get some 20%
Tint that has turned purple are dyed tint and with the uv that hits the tint over the years turn them purple.
How long does this process usually take. Can we judge the age of our tint?
On ya mate!
Enjoy Brother! We had a rip snotter of a time filming this one!
I rekon leave the windows. She looks mad as!
Yeah thats fine ! :D
Poor beer:(
The thing about beer is; they brew more of it all the time!!!

JDM spec no tint drive and passenger and limo black in the rear and quarters
This is pretty much what I was thinking also. I ended up pulling the tint from my s30's front two windows when I had limo tint all round.
gonna be right pissed if you don't go full ricer green tint.. pls pls pls
Ok
Oh, I changed my mind. Maybe mirror tint would be better
@@Intaketv green chrome mirror tint does indeed exist
No tint, and my favourite colour is yellow thanks for asking
Stay light and go ceramic
Mirror tint flames with limo tint bottom. Sexspec style
Tint the fuck out of it lol
A tintless super clean window look is sweet..the crisp clean as look..tinting is so 1997..
Lol it’s not even raining lol you can hear the birds lol
Green please! Lol
Ahhh a steamer would’ve helped out soo much.
But would it have been as entertaining?
Way to fuck that tint off sir
Fucked it right off!
Bro why didn’t you use a steamer
I don't even have a rattle gun, you think I am gonna have a steamer
Don't re-tint the car
Tint
U like me bro, 1st 70% of any job u always do it the hard way until u find a better ways to finish off the last 30% . Example using the hair dryer.
Gotta experiment a bit. Life's no fun with out a challenge.
Also leave it tint less it looks sick
oiiii they make plastic push blades just for this. super cheap like 2 bucks for a 5 packs. Canada mate
This sounds too simple. Must be a scam.
you might notice the rear window defrost is now fucked. if it gets fogged up at all

22% tint
Not 21% and not 23%?
@@Intaketv exactly 22% dark enough to be bitchin not dark enough to be harrassrs by the 50
And by 5-0, you mean, our many adoring fans.
You've litterally done this the hardest way possible and it's painful to watch the struggle
No shit. I take it you are new here.
Actually been watching you since you started this channel :)
Awesome Brother! Why did you expect anything less from us?!
Haha just giving my 2 cents worth. Keep up the good work and sink them beers 🎉
Intake! The car show about how to do things the hardest way possible. And also, we spill beers.
Well you know, once you go black you.....
Andrew Collins as they say, the darker the berry the sweeter the juice
Next time, use Coke!
No more jokes lol. The correct way to do this is to use a thermal blower when pulling the film.
I know Brother! We have done this a few times before, but find the more entertajning videos are where we fuck around.
PAINT THEM BLACK.
Wait, what? The glass? How the fuck would I drive?
An intricate camera system
I guess that would work.
