Oh boy oh boy oh boy well let’s talk about it. First off before I dive in bro another solid camera comparison as always I’m telling you I look forward to these anytime a new device comes out I’m waiting on you man good stuff good stuff indeed. Let’s break it down now in terms of the photo performance I have to say is very close but I’m gonna have to give it to the Pixel 6 The V 60 was holding its own and then the pixel six just gradually started to pull away. Talking about zoom photos that goes to the V 60 hands-down it’s more clearer and it retains more detail easy win for the V 60 talking about video the audio coming out of both devices was excellent so we’re gonna call it a tie there The stabilization on both devices was a really good as well so we’re also going to call that a tie but talking about the overall video quality I feel as though the pixel six did a much better job than the V 60 in my opinion the pixel six just had the more preferable images in terms of video so that’s a W for the pixel six in terms of video performance. Moving onto front facing video again the audio coming out of both devices was excellent I need terms of overall video quality I’m gonna have to give it to the Pixel again he just did a better job in my opinion
In producing the overall better image where as the V 60 was really struggling to get that image just right there was a lot of blowing out . So overall who wins well these are both two really great devices but I’m gonna have to give the overall win to the Google pixel 6. Keep up the great work bro I look forward to the next one I have a good one

Considering the age of the V60 and that it can go up against the latest flagship phones and more than hold its own is testement to what an awesome device the V60 really is and it never really got the recognition it deserved.

Funny, it was either pixel 6 or v60 when I bought a new phone the other day. Very glad I chose the v60. It smokes the pixel 6 on almost every test (to me, don't use front cam much). Thank you!

-32-bit Hi-Fi QuadDAC
-3.5mm Headphone Jack
If those features don't matter to a buyer, the Pixel 6 is a terrific smartphone and newer...with many years of A Droid updates. That said, if you buy a new V60, it comes with LG's Second Year Promise, 2-year warranty.

V60 was holding it down for sure. Previous pixel cameras have had great dynamic range, but I always hated that that made pixel photos way too dark for my taste. Going off of this video it seems pretty clear to me that google has chosen to make pictures brighter this time around, and that made photos too light this time around. V60 had more contrasty with shadow areas that stayed too dark, but I enjoyed the V60 photos better overall. Pixel did win with the sky, but I don't usually take pictures or video in light that's going to wash out like that. For my taste, V60 wins overall. I have a V60 myself and very happy with it. Preacher I recently found out that when you use an 80 ohm impedance plug between an extension plug and the wired headphone cable that that sends the quad dac into high impedance mode for 50ohm-600ohm headphones. That really ups the gain and drives really good mid to high end headphones. The sound in that mode is INCREDIBLE!

I started out with first 3 Galaxy phones and then went to LG Optimus after then went to the V10 all the way up to the 40. LG was always my favorite phone maker. Sad to see them leave. Currently on a Pixel 4a waiting for my pixel 6. Only reason I left LG was the software support on their devices. Man I really wish they didn't leave the business. But I really like the pixel. The software experience is amazing. Both excellent phones IMHO.

Pixel 6 front camera is definitely better than the V60.
However, the back camera on the V60 wins easily.
Pixel 6 is doing some funky color saturations, while the V60 seems more natural and has a little more pop.
Looks like I'll be keeping my V60.

For the video portion I have to say the pixel 6 comes out a head (barely) for still photos got to go with the LG V60. One thing I give LG credit for is the cameras on their phones, even the cheap ones had decent cameras

The lg front camera has more detail but it blows out the highlights, so indoors it was doing better but outdoors the pixel was better in the front camera. Also the pixel did better in the low light photos. During day photos the pixel over saturates the sky the lg adds violet into the sky. Overall I would say the pixel does slightly better.

It won't take an Einstein here to conclude that the LG shots are much closer to reality than the pixel, which just processes the image too much, that also explains the sky being bluer. Zoom shots are also a clear win for the V60 mostly due to its 64mp lens, so even if it doesn't have a telephoto still it has much megapixels to retain that fine detail. Video recording LG nails it with so many controls. One thing you forgot to mention is the manual camera mode on the V60, which I believe is the phone's real strength. If you can master the manual mode on the LG, I guess it's one of the best camera on a phone ever.

For those that wanna point and shoot in auto mode. The Pixel may be more their taste. The V60 is outstanding if you get into manual mode for either stills or video. You can see finer detail in the V60 auto mode. If you fine tune white balance and get more accurate exposure with the V60 in manual mode it is the better camera. Depends on whether you're willing to put in the time to be a good photographer/videographer. Of course for a brief review it makes sense to compare using auto mode. It does distort perceptions however if people do not research on their own further. The only phone that I know of that takes better photos are flagship Sony phones.

Some people say the camera performance has improved on the 2019 devices. It's only been slightly noticeable on my unit, but I'm curious to see how it compares to the V60 on a similar playing field. It depends on what you use your smartphone mostly for. For me, V60 is what I need for old school headphone jack and 2TB sd card where I don't have to worry about all my mp3s, photos, and movies. I watch most 4k movies on my v60 just because it looks so fantastic on the v60 display and DAC audio plays and performs so nice on my Sony headphone.

Front camera aside the LG V60 did better than I expected.

Pixel 6 video looks a bit over processed and flat, also the sky is to bluish. Not bad at all, but V60 looks more natural. I'm a little surprised how LG hold it's own in photo department. I thought Pixel will blow it out of the water. LG V60 is a beast.

I'm starting to think there's something wrong with my LG. I watched a bunch of videos and comparisons before picking up a v60 recently. And the camera, in auto mode, auto mode 64mp, and manual mode, the shots turn out good outside and okay at best indoors. Also, if if pinch in you see instant blur, there's no detail once you zoom in. Running android 12 using the stock app.

I have a V60 and my Pixel 6 will be coming next week. A lot of the still photos I liked the V60 for the better dynamic range and punchier colors. The Pixel 6 def had better video and kept the highs from being blown out. Did you just use the auto setting on the V60 or any manual shots? Once again great video!

I have both Wing and V60 Thin Q. I honestly feel the Wing shoots slightly better, plus it has a higher resolution selfie cam and its gimbal mode is convenient. The V60 can shoot video in 8k. Otherwise, these 2 are very similar.

It DEFINITELY didn't BLOW the V60 away but the stills looked better to me on the Pixel. I do mostly stills and not Vid. I have LG devices. I like them but it really am loving the stills on the Pixel, plus I never had a Pixel device. I'm not bias am I on that fact am I? Lol 😆

Computational photography have reached its peak, they are not getting better in last 2 years, the more it's processed the worse it will get. Time to focus on natural images since the sensors are improving, we are not in 2015 anymore. Almost all phone cameras are starting to look the same lol...

V60, Video is clearer. Pixel has a blur effect as camera moves. Pixel makes sky over Blue, not real. I like pics on LV v60 better too. LG selfie has more detail, but colors not as good.

With all due respect it looks like you haven't found out about LG's 'manual' settings for photos and video. This is definitely set to 'auto'.

I've been WAITING for an LGV20 equivalent upgrade but the LG V60 is the only option. The Pixel is a waste of $. Sorry.
LASTLY - IT'S TIME TO GET BACK TO REMOVABLE BATTERIES. The test is over, killing off removable batts is a pathetic sham.
The next company to bring removable batts back will trounce it's competition. Bet on it.
With all due respect I always make my camera reviews in auto it's no cheating here on my RUclips channel I will not give the advantage to LG in a phone comparison. All phones is set to auto mode because the average consumer will shoot in auto mode!!!!. The prosumer already knows how to shoot in pro/manual mode. Anyway, aside from this...
- using manual settings isn't 'cheating'. It's using a cell cam properly (any phone)
- The Pixel's 'manual' mode features ARE NOT the equivalent of LG's manual mode features (and LG's features smoke the Pixel 6 - a 2020 device at that).
Add SDcard storage support and a headphone jack to the mix and the V60 is still the better phone.
Don't get me wrong, I'm waiting for Google to produce my next phone. Love Google...but they haven't. They continually fall between 'mediocre and somewhat decent' with their offerings. Not to mention the Pixel 6 and Pro being way overpriced.
6 takes it....but old guy 60 not bad usable for most anyone.

Pixel 6 way better in video. V60 blew out the lighted areas, side of your face and background. LG just can't quite match and photos either especially in front-facing camera.

The 6's just came out. With further software updates it'll get much better. New SoC and hardware. They're good right out the gate and will only get better. Love my V60 but waiting for my 6 pro
