@@SeanLikesGirlsNotMen when I was 10 our house was robbed while my family was away, our husky had the back yard all to himself for afew days... when we looked at the security cameras recordings from our neighbor's house (he had a security camera that happened to be angled so the majority of our garden was in its view), we saw that the burglars came in over the wall from the construction site behind our plot, and for over 20 min, one of the three burglars was petting him, rubbing his belly and playing catch with his favourite stick (that he dig up and carried over to the guy) as the other two carried off our TV, kitchen appliances, and a whole butload of my grandfather's art (we think they thought it was expensive because grandpa liked putting his landscapes in fancy looking frames) ... to this day the memory is one of the funniest of my childhood because of how nonchalant our doggo was about making new friends (despite how horribly it could have gone, because 3 other neighbors of ours have had their pets poisoned by thieves before they actually broke in over the last 20 years my family has lived there) If it isn't self evident we also had a crackhead husky who actually succeeded in getting all the petting he could ever want whenever he wants it without even being loud about it
Then you need a new dog. I would recommend a German Shepard Australien Shepard Mix. He behaves like a Husky but when someone comes who he don’t know (or he don’t like) you could hear boss music. The funny thing is when you go to a person he don’t likes everything is ok, but if the person comes to you … yeah 😅. Thank god he don’t like my Mother in law 😂.
My girl is half Husky and half German Shepherd, and grew up with a terrier. When she was a puppy she dug big holes in the yard just because she saw the terrier do it, but ultimately she just didn't see the appeal! 😂
We adopted a white German shepherd husky mix from a local kill shelter about 2 years ago when he was 6 months old. He has attributes of both breeds. Super sweet. Incredibly active/ playful , and highly intelligent. I have a child with severe special needs/ disabilities and the moment he met her he became her personal guard dog. He instantly knew her issues as if he knew her her whole life. Not bad for a shelter dog.
Best ones are rescues I swear, mine came out a junkyard here in SC , he told me he was going to go the pound which here they kill ofc and I couldn’t stand it but that dog I swear is the best one I’ll ever have.

They also are extremely smart I’m talking Albert Einstein‘s of the dog world. They are very mischievous. That is what people mistake for. Oh they’re just not trainable lol no anyone who says that does not understand a husky. They also make amazing best friends. Your life will never be boring with a husky. They love the cold. I cannot stress enough. If it snows outside the best thing you can do for your dogs to let them stay outside for 36 hours and I’m not kidding they will not want to come in your house. You will have to bribe them and trick them to do it and good luck even for that to work. When any other dog is freezing, and would die in the snow they are chilling on vacation. They make great family docs. A lot of people have a hard time believing us, because they are so energetic and most huskies, let me pretty like this if you know somebody who wants a Siberian husky And then buys one they will be able to tell you a lot, but how to have that husky calm down will never be something any husky owner can tell you because this dog does not want to calm down lol it’s either sleeping or it’s a dog on a sugar rush lol except For something that I didn’t even contemplate until I started seeing it on RUclips and then I started realizing that this is true they make great babysitters. They are very calm and very gentle with babies. They will be the child’s best friend, bodyguard, babysitter, partner, in crime, pillow even blanket lol And they will be very calm about the whole thing and I know believe me a lot of people who have a Siberian husky will look at me like I’m crazy for saying this, but they love kids most of them love kids most of them understand that they are big, strong dogs, and have to chill out in front of a little kid, and they do. So seriously this dog will not only be your best friend. It will be the best babysitter you’ve ever had get a Siberian husky. They make great family dogs. And perhaps one of my favorite things they will actually have conversations with you, I am not kidding they can actually say some human words. You will actually understand some words, and I promise I understand you I promise that, so you will have arguments from the conversations lol. I’ve seen people watching football games with their husky and when their team loses, the Husky is genuinely mad lol I’ve seen videos and I believe it of huskies opening the door for a food delivery giving the delivery guy, the money, grabbing the food, putting it on the table and then shutting and locking the door. No joke no games no exaggeration. And get used to seeing silliness to the extreme and getting used to finding them in places that if you would be unOrthodox for instants my friend. She has a Siberian husky and that dog for whatever reason loves the smell of laundry detergent at least the one that my friend uses so her Siberian husky anytime laundry is being done will wait patiently calmly in the laundry room half asleep in a trance, just smelling the smell of laundry detergent coming from the dryer, and it’s not that they make bad guard dogs. But I wouldn’t trust them to guard you lol they will help you they will dig you out of the snow. They will protect you if they can actually see a real threat but truthfully, they usually just like meeting people and they just want to get a pet lol however, your child, this is one something that you never even considered will come in to play and you will love it because that husky will guard your child. I’m talking special forces level protection. If that husky does not recognize, the smell of that person is getting a bad vibe whatever it is, you will see an aggressive side of that husky that I guarantee you never see before just because that husky is protecting its buddy Your child
lol my Siberian husky loves everyone she’s such a goof ball . But my German shepherd husky he’s afraid of everyone a wants to eat everyone . My third she is scared but won’t try she just hides 😂

My husky preferrs playing and singing rather than guarding the house against strangers 😂
Beautiful puppies... the first one has a cut on his paw?
Mine doesn't take any notice of anyone at the door , if people come in, the house just rolls over for a belly rub or just ignores them
A lot of dogs and wolves have fur in between there toes, not just huskies!
All that biting power and no fight 😂 that’s a husky for sure the other dogs call them terrible fighters pretty sure they know and envy them
Huskies and i are same we hate cold but have to live in
I Love her
Worst guard dogs??? I NEVER knew that!

I can attest to the bite power. My Husky like to get bitey when he’s ready for his walk
They just can’t always hear commands. 😂😂
