MACARON SHELLS
75 G Egg Whites (Room Temperature)
100 G Caster Sugar
Black Food Colouring
Oreo Crumbs (3 Oreos)
DRY MIXTURE
90 G Almond Meal
90 G Icing Sugar
BUTTERCREAM FILLING
200 G Unsalted Butter (Room Temperature)
100 G Icing Sugar
10 Crushed Oreos
Black & Brown Food Colouring
I suggest using electric scales to get the correct measurements required.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Food Colouring - I recommend using Gel food colours only. Using a liquid food colouring will add extra liquid to your mixture which you do not want. I use Americolor brand.
Baking Sheets - I find baking sheets give a smoother base and allow the feet to bake more evenly. You can however just use baking paper.
Template - Yes I use a template, I like my macarons to be the exact same size and consistent. This helps when matching them up. This is totally up to you if you use one or not.
Piping Tip - Ateco #804
Piping Bags - Disposable Bags found on eBay.
Scribe can be found online or a toothpick works well too.
CLIMATE CONDITIONS DO EFFECT MACARONS
Important - If it is raining, storming or very high humidity. You will find the macarons may crack, bake uneven, have very high feet etc.
If possible - A dry, cool area is best for baking macarons.
I recommend placing the macarons in the fridge for 2-3 hours before eating. This just allows the filling to harden and stick the shells. Macarons also freeze really well for up to 3 months stored properly.

Thank you for the description, I make some Oreo and it was amazing all of my family love it 🌸
That's great hear!!! :)
Mmmm so good I really want to make it
I've been waiting to try these...🤔
Thank you for recipe
Most welcome 😊
What will the macaron look like if you do not use food coloring?
Also is icing and caster sugar powdered sugar?
Hi there! If you don't add the food colouring it will most likely be a a light grey/white ish colour. I only added the colour to make it look a bit darker. Icing sugar is powdered sugar and caster sugar is refined white sugar, so really fine. Hope that helps, let me know if you have other questions! :) Riley
Your recipe sunds asowme and really esy
Thanks!
Dude, your some of your words has wrong spelling..
Remove the "your" next to the word "dude, "
@@astraa_ so? Not everyone is a good speller.
@@helentv20i know, I'm just telling him, if he stays like this, he won't be able to spell right. Do you want that to happen?
What is almond peal which was in dry ingredients
Which ingredients do you use to make oreo Macarons l want to eat
Many Oreos have been harmed through the making of this video.
It was a sacrifice they were willing to make
So beautiful 💖💖💖💖
Thank you so much 😊
My icing sugar contains cornstarch, is that ok for the meringue?? Or should i use one without cornstarch? Thanks!
Yes you can!
I noticed that you didn’t say anything about banging the macarons for the air bubbles to escape? A lot of recipes say to do this is it not necessary?
Shes compensating with the scribe tool to pop the bubbles, you could do either or both
I have made these my oven only goes in 5 degree increments so I cooked them at 265 fernhight for 16 min and they are still wet in the middle Did I not let the dry long enough or do they need to go into the oven for some more time
is using ground blanched almonds sane as almond meal??
Yes it sure is! I would suggest sifting it to remove any large lumps before using. :)
Looking so 😋 yummy in eating also it would be very 😝 tasty
Thank you 😋
The 3 oreos is it with the white of the oreo or without?
Without the white :)
What can i use as a substitute of an egg(a veg sub pls)!?
I have a video coming in a couple of weeks with an egg free recipe. :)
Use vegetable oil for egg whites
Did you add the caster sugar and icing sugar at the same time? I’m confused
The Icing Sugar is mixed with the Almond Meal. The Caster sugar is added separately to the egg whites. Hope this helps!
I am making them and followed everything but it looks mostly liquidy 😭
Can we use normal flour
I have never tried, sorry!
I noticed that you didn’t bang the macarons after piping a lot of recipes say to do this ..is it not necessary for your recipe?
I think so
Maybe because her batter after macaronage was runny due to the maringue only reach soft peak.
It works maybe because the high ratio of sugar in the egg whites. 🤔🤔🤔
어떻게 삐에가 높은 마카롱을 속이 꽉찬 마카롱으로 만드나요
i had a lot of left over butter cream
What is the texture of the macarons? Crunchy, or soft?
Inside or outside?
How many grams of crush oreo
For the filling? It was about 10 Oreos crushed up, sorry I didn't weigh that. Let me know if you have any other questions :) there is more info in the description too.
Do you include the oreo filling for the filling or just the oreo shell?
Why you did not tell us what type of flour to use
Please read the description box, I have everything listed.
How many macarons does this recipe make?
Around 25 - 30 completed Macarons (depending on the size of them) :)

It's around 2 eggs whites (depending on the size of your eggs) I use XLarge eggs.
How many eggs did you use?
It's roughly 2 egg whites (using large eggs)
The way you guys wrote ingredients where very in light colour I can't see
Ice been trying to convert this grams to ounces pl help
I'm sorry I don't know ounces, try and google grams to ounces. Hopefully you can find the right conversation on there! :)
Buy a scale., cost around $15
i did the exact things this video had done and i thought everything was going until it was time to bake them. the baking time on this video is so inaccurate, i STRONGLY recommend looking for another video to make macarons.
If you followed the recipe correctly you should not have any trouble. I make macarons every week with consistency. I DO NOT hide anything, this recipe is how I made it. No trickery. I suggest you go elsewhere if you can't leave a nice comment.
Hi Selene, it depends on the type of oven you have. Heres a link, maybe it'll help :)
www.hunker.com/13409293/how-to-know-if-you-have-a-convection-oven
how many gram ingredients?
Everything is listed in the description box, click 'SHOW MORE' and keep scrolling until you see the ingredients listed :)
Hello, I'm wondering what kind of setting to bake it? Did you use top and bottom heating?
Bottom :)
i did this recipe two times. first time my macarons gone wild and become like a sponge cakes three times bigger and empty inside. second time i decided to do macaronage longer. macarons again gone wild but this time it became so hard and there was no hard top.. only had bottom and bitter taste. Im so sad.. I cant understand where am i doing wrong!! 😥😭
Vera Remizova maybe try a different recipe, I used the one by preppy kitchen. When doing it make sure your meringue is stiff enough. Macaronage it until you can form a figure 8 with the batter without it breaking, the texture should be like wet sand or more liquidy kinetic sand. Make sure to rest it for long enough, enough for it to form a skin. If it is humid where you are rest for longer and put it under something with a increased air flow. It worked the first time for me :))))) good luck!!!
So you are the one 🤔 play doh
What is it in cups instead of grams?
Can I use normal flour
