Here I’m playing a Gibson L4 built in 1920, a lovely oval hole archtop guitar. Recorded with a 1940s Electrovoice Ribbon Mic. Additional engineering by Adam Bradley Schreiber / Hylaphonic Sound.

Hi! So much lovely music from that era. I know I love it, and I like to think anyone could, even if they don’t know it yet :). Just trying to channel and share in my own way. Wonderful. I must say that oval and round hole Gibson archtops are underrated. In fact, I have never heard a bad sounding L4.
