I purchased a ruger 22 and a scope had it mounted at the store that purchased I tried every adjustment I could not hit a target I thought it was me I at the time never purchased a firearm and I was so trusting of a supposed professional. I noticed the scope was literally sitting diagonal to the barrel the guy used scope mount rings that sat above the iron sights. I remember the fellow even saying he bore sited it. I bought my on rings and mounted it myself. I now could actually hit were I was aiming. Thanks for your rant I think this happens more than you think.
Im new to this hobby as well and first thing I did was buy the gun vice and scope mounting tools and cleaning equpment because yes I could have someone mount the scope for me , but I really want to learn how to do all this myself its what makes it fun. and with RUclips today anyone can learn just about anything and I enjoy putting things together to learn how it all works.. what scope is that from vortex? it looks dam nice for that Remington. Thank you.
