I miss the days when mom made dinner
Me too 😊
You nates bro or awkwardly have the same last name
the meatloaf in the mashed potatoes in the bread-and-butter in the full glass of milk times two that shows up out of nowhere while you're just sitting in your bedroom talking to your girlfriend and your boyfriend or so-called only 18 minutes of religious activities or whatever
@@MikeADHD they're brothers and apparently their mom is a good at cooking
I actually miss these days when my mom made me EVERYTHING.
I never have time because I'm always watching productivity videos. Oh the irony!
As if you couldn’t do chores while playing this in the background
There gets to a point where it becomes unproductive to watch so many, this is called the law of diminishing returns. Draw a fine line and try discipline yourself from procrastination
Yaaaaaaa. Same
Relatable 😆
Lol
Lack of time management and randomness in performing life’s tasks always make us feel like there is not enough time.... 👍
It feels very true! Why do you think the randomness especially does that?
Randomness is the spice of life ~
Expect the unexpected
And seems it also adds more stress to your life.
أنا تقريبا بقرأ تعليقاتك على كل الفيديوهات للناس اللي بتابعها😅 ، وبتابعك بالمناسبة ❤
This was a well-timed video, Nate - the last few months have been filled with excessive procrastinating for me where I end days thinking "man, where did all that time go?" 👍
@@minimalism2o2o 3 Months to produce the most immaculate quality was worth the wait!
Starts videos at 6am
Edited the first 5 mins of the video, then checks the time*
Its 11am
Yup 💕🐰
Nate is one of the most down to earth youtubers on the platform! Never feels like he's talking down to anyone.
Exactly!
Yep!
I 100 Percent Agree!
Don't have enough time cause I'm watching youtube
Not even that but these lame unnecessary YT ads are another reason to point out lol.
Watch videos at 2x speed. Saved a lot of time for me
@@Sebassftw use RUclips vanced. No ads and no self promotions/sponsors
Hahaha so true
@@alexshendel1984 You're a genius! Thanks!!!
nate you’ve helped me so much. being a 16 y/o with no direction in life, you’ve cleared up all the confusion i had about saving money and now i have an idea
congrats bro
That's awesome! Better to have no direction than a rushed direction, in my opinion
That sounds great! :) Good luck!
The fact that you even watch this channel at 16, you're gonna be alright kid...
@@kayjeffs3741 that made me smile mate. thanks
I love meal prep /r/mealprepsunday and /r/mealprep are great communities to get ideas for meal prepping.
I spend too much time researching (analysis paralysis) and not taking action! Great video topic Nate. I’ve been watching your older videos lately and I’m enjoying your videos the most out of all the other you-tubers I follow. Keep it up!
Same here. I’m way too conservative & cautious.
Same...
Having a false sense of urgency makes you seem like you never have enough time either... I’m guilty of it
Same here. Now I think I have alot of time but I'm just wasting by working more hours than working more in an hour
Really good video man. I've made a lot of mistakes this year wirh time management, the biggest one being says yes too much to things that aren't bringing me value
LMAO I relate to this one too much, Paddy 🤣🤣
Time is the single most valuable resource in one's life. It really shouldn't be wasted.
Love your videos Nate!
I would like to say something that will work too. The key is not waking up early, the key is going to bed early. If you think you need to wake up early that stresses you out and then in the morning you are tired, you want to keep sleeping and you won't get up. But if you go to bed early, if you focus on going to bed early, no mater what, you will wake up early, because you will be sleeping enough hours and will not wake up tired.
Another thing you can also do, while you are vacuuming or doing things that can take a lot of your time is do something else productive while you are cleaning, etc. For example, learning a new language. Listening to tapes and repeat the words while you are vacuuming, or listen to a podcast. That's another way to use your time wisely. :)
I agree, I am in love with cooking but yes, sometimes I spent too much time cooking a dish that by the time I finish serving everyone I'm kinda mentally full.
Definitely, minimalist and regular life is the best ways for more quality life.Because of that,I wake up 6:00 am every morning.I dont buy needless things for me.Actually, sometimes I dont have a extra time for shopping or social media etc.Btw,I agreed your ideas on video!Love it 🌟
I NEVER HAVE ENOUGH TIME BECAUSE IM WATCHING ALL THESE NATE O'BRIEN VIDEOS SO I CAN GET RICH
That waking up early bit really was like a slap to the face that I needed! I keep saying I don't have enough time but the reality is I often stay up past 1 AM and end up waking up really late. Thank you for giving me that reality check, really needed it!
cuz it ain't a priority for you. If its important, you make time
Exactly
Great video, lots of excellent points! We use our time because we choose to focus on things which ultimately lack meaning deep within us, and what's worse is often we don't realise how we just use time in ways that serve little utility.
I literally watch Nate’s videos just to feel motivated again. That says a lot. 😶
Yeah 100% makes you feel very positive!
Me too
I like that you mentioned automation. I recently bought a robot vacuum & mop and they have saved me a lot of time! I talked about this in my recent video about FIRE and Black Friday. Not only does it save you time, but you can put these robots to work more often than you typically would and have a cleaner place!
YES! Good call!
Whatever you’re worried about right now, you probably won’t think about it in a month from now, or maybe even a week from now. So take a deep breath and relax. All is well. 🙏🏽
so youre the new channel i ssee everywhere spamming irrelevant generic sht
Nate, let me just say that I watched your video on journaling and thanks to being inspired by you, I have had way more time in the day than before and I’ve been more inspired in my own personal development. Thank you so much for your helpful videos. Journaling and waking up early have been the biggest contributors to me feeling more organized these last two weeks that the whole year it seems.
Definitely needed this video! Thank you for sharing 🙌
Nate, we love you x10000% - Thank you for taking the time to make heart-felt videos like this! You really are one of the best on youtube! Period!
Yes he is the best I've seen.
I need friends like this in my life
This is an era when being 24 years old seems like 42.
Your videos are always so well produced! Safe to say we all appreciate the content you provide, thank you Nate. Taking from what I read from ‘The War of Art’: “ you need to realize the difference from what is urgent and what important. Do what is important first”.
This is so true! 👍🏾

One of the best channel I’ve been watching recently. Amazing work Nate! 💕✨
Nice video Nate - this is a very important topic
I'd like to see an update of your daily routine if there were any noticeable changes!
Yes more cooking
lol 2:45
It would be a waste of time.
Still working on time management and as life gets busier with more responsibilities, I definitely need it. Meal prepping each week has helped me HUGE save time throughout the week (and stay healthy). Great points!
Another self-help guy I follow, Craig Ballentyne, pushes "structure equals freedom." This is the same thing Nate is talking about. So true. The time blocks are one of the best things I've incorporated into my life. Even breaking it down to my youtube. I could never find time to learn and edit my videos until I specifically structured time blocks for it. Great videos, Nate!
Time is our best asset! 👌🏼💯
Why I don’t have enough time: too busy watching Nate’s videos 🔥
I’m here with you
That's why he does a few week! To say you time lol
It's addicting!
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Insanely valuable video Nate!
1. Adopt minimalism.
2. Make all of house chores done in bulk and streamline everything
3. Create buffer time 20 - 30 minutes for each time block, because you never know how much it actually takes to finish a project.
4. Become a morning person and wake up early in the morning, 4 am, 5 am.
Discipline is a freedom
So true, like this year has flown by so fast!
I've been procrastinating all day, even now I'm procrastinating my sleep by watching this
Appreciation from Germany! Thanks for your videos Nate!
Time is precious.great video Nate.👍
This hit home for me!!! Thanks nate! I am now 20 and have been living on my own for a little over a year now and I constantly feel like I don’t have time to do everything I need to do around the house and still enjoy my hobby’s and projects. I need to get one of those insta pots because I’m tired of cooking food and having to clean AGAIN after eating😂😂😂
Thank you so much Nate. I've watched several of your videos and have learned so much. I am so grateful for your teachings and posts. I've also read and studied your book recommendations. Thank you for everything
Perfect video for my problem, i have school works ahead and just few minutes ago i thought how the heck is the day ending and i haven't done anything, and i can relate. Thank you nate for making this kind of videos you're the best.
We all have the same 24 hours. It’s all about how we manage the time we have.
Right !
Time is what you make it ~~~
You’re a wonderful role model for young adults! I admire you a lot!
This video is so relatable!
Perfect analogies and examples.
So detailed! And helpful!
Time flies by very quick! Make the best of it. Best of luck to everyone in 2021
Nate has leveled up his b-roll so much over the years!
Agreed!
Making a meal plan helped me sooo much! I would plan out my meals for the whole week with doing 1 big shopping/week.
Getting up early is a game changer. I get up at 3am every morning. I take a shower, eat breakfast, do a workout, a Spanish lesson, then get ready for work at 5. I always hear people at work complaining about how tired they are and how going to the gym after work is going to suck. I get to just go home and relax, eat, and go to bed after work wore me out
I like this. I hate getting up early... But this kind of schedule just makes sense. I can't be spending the rest of rest of my day tired and unable to enjoy life because of working first.
YES! I agree.
When preparing food, clean up as you go. For instance, if you're waiting for the water to boil, wipe up the countertops and table and wash the dishes. That way after your meal you won't really have to clean up, it will already be done.
Nice.. dude woke up from a nap on shades and took that milk shake
the data you said in the beginning is mind blowing...well informative video...thank you
The editing is sharp, and information is clear. Great video Nate, as always! :)
He’s getting better every video
@@JazminBautista I totally agree!! 👏🏽
Hi Nate, we really appreciate all your tips nd strategies. Love from London 😊
Totally agree with you, time is the most valuable resource!
Its so true, food does take a lot of our time.....but then I think its also something we could enjoy the process making it once in a while....
Subscribed! Thanks for these helpful videos, i'm only 18 in highschool but I already know what type of lifestyle I want for when I get my own place ✨✨
You should make a video about your daily life
I think you did an excellent job of keeping the viewers attention throughout the video both with your voice inflections and the camera shot changes.
This was a major key alert *DJ Khaled voice* for sure lol the timing of this video really couldn't have been more perfect for me 🤙🏽 I appreciate the extra motivation
Nate, you're speaking fast but very clear
Thank you for this
Just I'm russian and sometimes it's not easy for me to understand English speakers
i totally agree food and eating takes up so much time
That’s the main problem
Great video!👍
I agree Making the most of your time is important and crucial for growth and stability.
I’m a slow eater too! What you said about food and prep was spot on, and has been my issue with why I hated cooking and would rather eat out. However I do need to save money so I started using Hello Fresh. It’s so worth it! I got a free box from a friend and it was so convenient having all my ingredients there as well as a recipe to follow on the recipe card. You should try either that or another meal prep service. I can give you a free box!
Time management is highly essential, this will help you achieve more, within a short period of time
👍👍👍👍
Yes. But, also, you should use those time-management skills of yours to improve your English.
Simple but effective, nailed it!
Thank you for stressing the importance of planning things in advance.
Hey Nate good video! Chicken quesadilla are bomb 😋, haha I just might get myself a Garry btw where did u get ur black shirts ??? thx for all the info !!!
No matter what I'm doing, I'm always thinking about what I need to do next and how I'm going to do it in the most efficient manner.
Thank you very much Nate!)) waiting for cooking video, guess it's gonna be fun))) it was pretty cool thing you were doing with eggs and pan in this video
This guy Taught me so much
Same !
Something I do to cut down on phone usage:
-set up screen time on iPhone
-only allow a limited time on your wasteful apps
-ask a family member or friend to set up a password
When the time is up you can only add more time if you have the password. I have found this to be super effective at cutting down wasteful time spending
Whenever you make videos like these, they always gave me motivation. I am also always thinking of ways to improve myself.
Nate is a smart dude, knowing what he talks about
1. Cooking takes alot of time, so Precook and Planout Meals ahead of time. The solution is Instant Pot for cooking.
2. Stream Line time spent cleaning, adopt minimalism.
3. Automate Redudant tasks and chores. Romba
4. Create blocks of freetime throughout day to buffer in for extra work and tasks needed to complete in that day.
5. Wake Up Early, don't be a nightowl.
in college i was a night person, post grad working this remote job i became a morning person, and im boutta work at a studio and become both a night and morning person LMAO
Give this man a sponsor! Great work Nate as always!
This word is a battle between time and money.
Nice intro. well said "time does not discriminate"
i’m sitting here eating chips at 11 am pushing off going to the grocery store so yes this is a common predicament lol thank you so much for sharing!! very insightful
Great video Nate, waking up early is a game changer.
Having a schedule is a must.
Agreed!
I feel that I always have enough time, although I am not as organized as you are. But this video was fascinating because it was about you, how you think and live.
I do the same with eggs, get a good egg rack for the instant pot and you can cook up to 18 eggs in 5 minutes and have hard boiled eggs when needed for protein snack.
Waking up early in the morning makes you feel that you are a head of other people ! That’s awesome 😎
So simple but so practical Nate! Solid video.
Views on the road comes thru w the instapot recipes
Time management is very important. Some people can spend their time very smartly, they plan ahead and they can arrange the time perfectly. Therefore, they are vey successful like you. It is time for us to plan for the 2021.
These are some great tips, Nate. I’d also highly recommend that fellow never-have-enough-timers read the book “Get Your Sh*t Together” by Sarah Knight.
Along with refreshingly obscene, witty language and no-nonsense tone, it’s helped me prioritize & make my must-do list more manageable. I actually have a little extra time to chill and read in the evenings now !
Same as Nate, unfortunately my above comment is not sponsored (but it should be).
i can double that waking up very early you feel like you have more time and idk why
i feel like i have extra 2 hours in my day by just waking up at 5-6 AM
Great video Nate, feel like I haven't seen a video from you in a long time 😀
The night owl part at the end really resonated with me. Thanks Nate!
Me and my boyfriend cut down on how often we cook, clean, do the laundry, dish and so on. If you have a schedule you plan how less you need to do something and its awsome. And if you also spend less time watching tv you can take time to bake, workout or something fun you like to do😁
Awesome video! Thanks for sharing Nate.
Me: Lies to boss, grabs coffee and rushes into the break room.
Now is all there is. What you don’t do now will never be done.
Love how Nate has over 800k subs, and is generally considered one of the most likable youtubers of all the personal finance or self help creators, and yet - no one sponsors him 😭
He is? I didn't know he was even that well-known. Man, I remember when this channel was tiny - that seems like it wasn't even long ago. Where'd the time go, right? Perfect video for this comment
Good video Nate, time is definitely our most valuable asset and you seem to use it very efficiently! For me, I just like to take it as it is and try to make the best out of it. I really don't force myself to be productive every single moment of the day, sometimes it's just good to settle down.
