It was supposed to.
She should have at the very least took Otto prisoner while he was at dragonstone giving the greens terms. It could have kept the greens in check from doing something stupid or offered an easy revenge for something bad happening like it did. Or they could just use Otto as a bargaining chip to setup the greens into some kind of attack. It made me so mad that they just let him go after he was there just spitting all that treason. What a great show though man it blew my expectations out of the water. Cant wait for season 2.

How they had Rhanerya look and turn her head just like the dragons do. When she found her son died. Was a nice touch.
Just imagine how her dragon picked up on that, I wouldn't be at all surprised if he and his fellow dragons took off on their own to go after that big one that killed her son and their fellow young dragon, though I'd rather see the new huge one Daemon sang to take care of it with him on his back cutting loose on that one. Does anyone know what he was singing to it, exactly?

I know he wss a wild dragon roosting on the island, but what was Daemon singing to it, before he even knew about Jacerys. Huge difference between Rhaenyra and Dany is that Rhaenyra spoke from her own heart and mind and Daenerys literally repeated what Tyrion said to her lol go back and rewatch and you'll see that not only was that Tyrions words she repeated but the only reason she even repeated those words was to keep up the good girl act which is what tipped off Sansa and Varys at that same time. The black queen genuinely wanted good for the realm and Dany just wanted the realm (after rewatching that episode please add to this video)

After I finished HOTG, I went and rewatched GOT for the third time, it’s such a great series. I hope they continue with this masterpiece of a universe.

Never was interested in the Dunk and Egg concept so glad it has been pushed back. Personally I am so excited to see Aegon's conquest. I think the Blackfyre Rebellion would be cool. We should see some early Valeryon's who were trading with Westeros before the conquest and we should see Harrenhall being burnt down with Beleryon. SOOOOO excited!!!!
the black fire rebellion will be cool to see but the conquest is pretty straightforward with very little politicking going on so I’m not sure how great it will be but it will likely still be entertaining. The Duncan Egg stories have more of a changing story that goes all the way from Aeg’s childhood and the mystery knight, to the point when Aeg is king and the tragedy at Summerhall, which is extremely mysterious and I would be very interested to see. It would also be interesting to see young Tywin and Aeres and the birth of Rhaegar all of which would be in the Duncan Egg stories.
Dunk and Egg is what I want to see most. And then the show about the woman who was a sailor. Nymeria? I forgot, but I want to see the rest of the world outside Westeros and Essos.

I think it’s more likely that he is Corlys’ bastard. That’s the impression I got from the books.
Edit - with that being said they will probably make Laenor return as Addam in the show because I see no other reason to make the fake death change from the book.
Apparently the actors for Addam and Alyn are cast (got it from smokescreen but he pointed out that is a rumor at this point).
What no?!! Leanor living would not make Ageon the third illegitimate. He could say that he faked his own death on his own, Rhenerya knew nothing. Or he never consummated the marriage so it’s not even a legitimate marriage. And anyway it would not matter Ageon was the only make male targaryen alive (yea Viseryes was alive but no one knew and he is the younger brother)
@@ayiza8511 It would actually, Aegon III was only legitimized because Laenor passed and his wife Rhaenyra was allowed to remarry. If Laenor isn’t dead her second marriage to Daemon would be null. Therefore her children by him also would lose their legitimacy. Wouldn’t matter if Laenor explained that’s how marriage laws worked at the time.
We gotta remember to separate the books and the show. The book is not fully “canon” just a second hand account from maesters who don’t know all the details and don’t particularly like Targaryens and dragons. So Laenor could very well be “alive” in the books

I like this show, it’s really grown on me, like moss that feed’s the Children of the Forest 😊. Still think the Jon Snow series ( if it happens ) is the one that I’ll love. Would be great to see an Arya version of GOT, that young woman has mad skills, imagine the fight scenes, Maisie Williams is an awesome character. If they could do a Tyrion sequel I’d be stoked to watch that, but I’m not sure if I want to see how “ Bran the Broken “ runs his 6 kingdoms, I’d still watch it though!!!

Blood and Cheese, Bitter Bridge, Rhaenerya going back to Dragon Stone......Bold John Roxton vs the Dragon Seeds..... Daemon and Aemond at the God's Eye.....there will be so many WTF moments in season 2 and 3 that social media is going to explode.
Bruh there's zero chance all that makes it into S2. I think Rooks Rest will be like 2/3 through S2 and that's if they go fast af and do 90 minute episodes. It might be E9 of S2. I see Rhaenyra taking KL either early or midway S3, yeah this breaks the usual format of saving the crazy shit for E9 but idk how they could possibly keep pace for 4 seasons following that format. This story is packed full of tragedy and brutality so there's gonna be 3 or 4 of those episode 9 level events per season

4. After Aegon 2, Damons' son Aegon 3 (aegon the unhappy) will sit on throne who had watched his mother eaten by Sunfyre he will never ride a dragon, wanted to eliminate all dragons (books).

It isn't 'burn them all' vibe in Rhaneyra's eyes. Rather it is you-asked-for-it wrath. Again, turning vengeful is NOT equal to turning mad. Losing grip over reality is equal to turning mad, like Aerys, not even Dany (she turned cruel), Aerys. And Rhaneyra is none of them. But she will take severe action because if she isn't, she will be considered weak.
Everyone was so pissed about Dany turning into the mad queen, and George RR didn't write that storyline. I don't think HBO is going to go down that route again, but it's GOT. Anything can happen.

Remember, you can't really film the outside parts for Driftmark (St Michael's Mount) and the other places like Holywell Bay and Kynance Cove until the weather is better. It's dark, cold and wet in Cornwall at the moment.

The Black Dread is the biggest dragon in the books followed by Vhagar. The Cannibal isn’t as big as either of them.

I do wonder thought why Daenerys Dragons especially Drogon grew so big in this short period of time (Season 1-8 GOT) but Arrax was this small even thought he must have been around the same age or at least not much younger than Daenerys Dragons.

Oh good an Anthology Series. That's exactly what I think they should do. Like the Crown. I just finished the Dance of Dragons in Fire and Blood book. Wow its going to be a roller coaster ride alright. They did a great job getting people to root for Rhaenyra, but things are going to get horrific for all. . .

@@eds1942 I think that sounds about right but idk, if they do only 4 seasons they are gonna have to do 90 minute episodes and be having "episode 9" vibes 3 times every season. Rhaenyra takes KL about 1/3 of the way through the war roughly? Maybe 50%? I would need to refresh on it but if the pace is what I picture then Rooks Rest would be mid S2ish, like maybe episode 7. Idk man. Crazy to see how they do it
@@Captain_Insano_nomercy At about 2/3rds, the first year she’s too divested to do much and the two sides are half trying to keep things from getting worse, making alliances or burning things down. It spills over into all out war after that, until Rhaenyra takes over.
Her reign doesn’t last long, half a year. During that time is when the big characters die and the people rise up against the dragons.
It’s sort of like with game of thrones. The first book was the prelude. The second for the most part consists of the scored earth tactics and alliances with small battles here and there. While the big events take place in book 3 / season 3 and 4, with things seeming settled for the most part in season 4. Though in Thrones, the people don’t rise up until book 5 / season 5.

I believe S2E1 that it won't be just Daemon ordering for Blood and Cheese. I believe it's going to also come from Rhaenyra because it's her son who got killed. Heir to Driftmark. Neither one knows who killed Lucerys. His body was washed ashore in the book.
If Rhaenyra orders for B&C, it actually makes the moment more justifiable. She wanted peace and she ended up losing 3 people in less than a week. This sucks for Helaena but this event is really to avenge one of Aegon's heirs. Eye for an eye as Daemon told Rhaenyra. Rhaenyra also ordering it is the curveball for B&C.
I know this whitewashes Daemon a little bit because Blood & Cheese is not his finest hour. But considering Aemond "accidentally" killed Lucerys, they might do the same for Daemon who has hardly got any breaks from the HBO writers that Matt Smith needs to save his character with improvised scenes that's his idea.
So I expect Blood & Cheese be a joint decision by both Daemon and Rhaenyra. Understand again that they don't know Aemond accidentally killed Lucerys and Aemond doesn't have any heirs. In Fire & Blood , it's supposed to be Daemon and Mysaria. But I believe this is where Rhaenyra turns dark to prep some bad stuff she'll do later.
Can't wait to see Roddy the Ruin and Cregan Stark. Two characters way more badass than overrated Aemond, "The One-Eyed B-tch" that StruggleNation called him. 🤣
Who knows the type of information Daemon got when he told Rhaenyra about Lucerys' death? We do know Borros Baratheon and his daughters like Ellyn were there to witness Aemond threatening to take Luke's eye out. But who knows if they kept it to themselves since House Baratheon allied themselves with the Greens?
If Daemon got word that it was Aemond, I think he would've went direct and kill Aemond for Luke's death. Blood and Cheese wouldn't be needed. But I believe Daemon and Rhaenyra don't really know who killed Luke since there was a storm and no other human was around to witness Luke's death except Aemond.
Aemond will tell Alicent and Otto and they're going to be so pissed. But they need to keep it a secret that he didn't do it or Aemond will die in the hands from Daemon a lot sooner...
Don't think we will see Luc's body in the show. Looks to me like Vhagar ate him whole and spat out the wings of Arrax. I think the wings will land in Stormsend and that's how they know Luc died.

Show runners will probably have Daemon order for B&C and show Rhaenyra horrified and angry with it as they clearly want her to be character audience root for.
