@@GodsMistake every kid in the family had a short story explaining what they had done in their life, except for Meg. It’s a great detail because it is keeps the joke that no one cares about Meg.
Funny enough she does have a story but it was cut out of the video for some reason. It was something about hitting a golf ball off every mountain peak.
@@GavinMcCollum My family isn’t white and we like them. They’re only pretentious if you somehow feel personally targeted or attacked, or like the movie is trying to be more than it is. Royal Tenenbaums = not trying to be more than it is. Life Aquatic = not trying to be more than it is. Fantastic Mr. Fox = not trying to be more than it is and it’s a masterpiece btw. Moonrise Kingdom = not trying to be more than it is. Grand Budapest Hotel = not trying to be more than it is and it might be his best work. Rushmore was also great and had a lot of great moments. This is actually one of the most solid Wes Anderson parodies I’ve seen. Which is weird, because the other parodies in this episode were pretty shallow.
Man, I suddenly realize how much Family Guy I've missed over the years. I thought this was a newer clip (which it is relatively speaking) but Carrie Fisher died Dec 2016. This is a 5 year old clip at least.
How many other people live inside that hangar inside that submarine inside that tent as I most certainly saw an entire neighborhood outside of that window
Nobody ever turns so that they're at a direct profile. But I guess that would require taking the characters off model for even a second, and they ain't doing that
This isn’t even a parody. It’s straight up a Wes Anderson film.
Did he guest direct this?
and I like it
I fell like Bill Murray must've been in this but I can't spot him.
@@johnassal5838 i think he's the old man on the back row during the play
Tarantino version was then only parody which was mixed with different films. A Kill Bill version would be awesome.
and like with every Wes Anderson movie, there's an inexplicable cover of a famous song in a foreign language
name three
@@TheVlogfather1 I think there are at least three such Bowie songs in "The Life Aquatic..." alone.
What's the name of the song in the end
@@em.michael ruclips.net/video/M31DLCZ1PeQ/видео.html a german interpretation of the hit by sonny and cher
What's inexplicable? The cover or the use of the cover in the movie?
Honestly, I like the whimsical feel to Wes Anderson movies. There's nothing else like them.
Yep, weirdly enough , it’s like a fairytale, but on a modern setting and somewhat original
Oh I love the films. But this is still pretty spot-on as a parody.
Its also some of the whitest films ever made
Can we talk about how Meg didn’t get a story here? I love the detail 😂
I think she's a mountain climber based on her cloths
Okay talk about it because I don't get it.
@@GodsMistake The joke is Meg is hated in the show. So they didn't give her a back story

Wes Anderson movies are so charming it makes you forget all the glaring holes and nonsense in the movie.
Depends what movie, because otherwise: what glaring holes and nonsense?
Which holes?
Have you seen the Darjeeling limited? That movie was straight up bad
On the other hand: they are not. They are just pretentious nonsense and white people like it because they they're supposed to.

He died chasing a Pokémon across a busy street
I laughed so much harder at that then anything else
No, you didn't.
No back story for Meg, as it should be
There is one this just cut it out
There's one
even when satirizing Wes Anderson, they cant help but use 3/4 angles
The character designs are locked into them lol.
“Feels like you ate a pot brownie and woke up in a greeting card”
It’s so sad that he never learned to read spaghetti.
This is so on point for a Wes Anderson film lol.

Everything Wes Anderson does.
*I love how Meg is just dressed up the way she is in her own story but they didn't tell us cuz we don't care...*
Gotta love the details. One room of the house is a Natural History exhibit. The attic is a Gerbil mansion.
Lois is looking mighty fine though.
Always!
She was indeed drawn more attractive than usually.
Difficult to find a way she won't look great
Its because she is emotionless lol
They made her into Anjelica Huston.
They’re so close to real Wes Anderson but they unfortunately don’t keep all the backgrounds perfectly symmetrical
I love Wes Anderson movies and this was gold.
The camera wouldn’t be cutting to different scenes but rather spinning to the opposite direction
I've never seen a Wes Anderson film before, but this is highly accurate.
...?
How would you know then

I love Wes Anderson movies and this show does it spot on
As a Wes Anderson fan I loved all the references to his films. They might be mocking their absurdity, but the writers know their stuff
My favourite movie from Wes Anderson is fantastic mr fox and the isle of dogs
This is decent parody
They cut off Stewie's and Meg's part!
wes anderson’s films are fantastic
I totally misread the title and thought it said Wes Craven.
I kept waiting for somebody to go to sleep.
Megan didn't get an interesting backstory of her career?
We all know why.. 😔
*Megatron
She got one. She's supposed to go to every mountain peak and drive a golf ball from there
My first film that was Wes Anderson’s work was fantastic Mr, Fox.
I LOVE FANTASTIC MR FOX
Lois with black hair is a whole other lvl
This is very low effort. And thus, spot on.
I like how the pickleball bracket has completely different names despite being an elimination tournament lol
With the 4:3 aspect ratio this would be 100% Wes Anderson.
Ah Wes Anderson one of the most talented and recognized icons of the film industry where every movie is absolutely incomprehensible and weird
Why is this so true
I like how Peter didn’t even close the thermos before packing it
Superbly done
This is actually one of the most solid Wes Anderson parodies I’ve seen. Which is weird, because the other parodies in this episode were pretty shallow.
You are kidding right, the others were just as accurate lol
I think it's kinda funny how this mentions Pokemon at the end XD

Wes Anderson movies in a nutshell
I like these out of the three peter gets fired skits
why isn't this in Wes Anderson's filmography?
I don't know much about Wes Anderson movies I've only seen Fantastic Mr Fox
The Grand Budapest Hotel has been my favourite of Wes Anderson , try it
The life aquatic with Steve Zissou is one of my favourite films
They are symmetrical and have a very coherent color palette.
Life aquatic is great. Everyone's dressed like Herbert the pervert in this clip.
Isle of Dog is pretty good
When I was younger I used to mix up Wes Anderson and Paul W.S. Anderson. Man that led to some confusing movie nights.
I love how it started with peter slightly off center and and he just scoots back to be cemetrical.
0:30 love the 3d effect in this scene
Reminds me of the video on here of 'What if X Men was made by Wes Anderson'
i ripped one of the nastiest 60-minute-post potato-pasta w hot sauce and baked beans dinner-farts I ever have while watching this video.
I'm so happy for you

Wes Anderson is like the Anti-Tarantino, he's like marmite you love him or you hate him, I think his works do have a certain charm too them,
“Thanks for watching, white people.”
Your welcome, I guess….
Lois looks like yoko ono
I like ppl with content
It's embarrassing when you confuse Wes Anderson for Wes Craven.
Or Paul WS Anderson, which I always thought the WS stood for "WES"
Why is this so f@#$king wholesome?!?
I died in the beginning when Peter moved to his left a tad 😂😂😂 so accurate
“What does this say, I can’t read spaghetti”
Hillarious :)
Anyone know the song at the end of video?
This is less Wes Anderson-y than the French Dispatch
