I’m starting on the FD account w/ US Xpress next week and I can’t thank you enough for the very informative videos and honest reviews!! You’re helping out a tremendous amount!! Very awesome!!
They had $1700 true up pay when I was there. Someone else mentioned them saying they had no true up pay as well now. I'm no longer there. But I wouldn't consider that account if they didn't have true up any longer.
Great job, guys. The best thing that comes out of memphis tn is 55 south or north just drive through and don't stop .safe travels driver's🙏 happy father's day Dylan👍 carter is a great helper good job young man 💪
Really enjoyed the video Dillon. I’ve never done that “ touch freight” type of job. It’s interesting to see how you get things done. Keep up the great work. 👍🏽
nice. This isnt for me only cuz these stores are in crazy areas and i dont want to deal with that extra stress. I dont mind the physical work, i dont like the locations. I know the turnover rate is 100% unfortunately. The only thing the warehouse people care about, including the managers, is getting the trailers loaded and out ASAP. They dont care the slightest bit about quality loading. You look like a good and genuine guy and I will say, keep that good mindset and stay positive. There is no perfect job, there will be stuff we love and stuff we dislike about EVERY job.
Hi. Enjoy watching your videos. It’s great to have your son out there on the road with you. Those are great memories he’ll have forever. He’s great company and a big help to you. Does he get an allowance at all for working with you? Teaching him good work ethic at a young age. Great job. Be safe and God Bless you and your family.
Great job Carter! He'll remember this time for his whole life. Ever thought about an extension cord and a box fan? Entering my second week of CDL school =)
I suppose id be a bit more chuffed about not having a rack on the truck, but you seem to have a pretty good attitude about everything man. Props to you we should all try to be like that.
I am gonna start my dollar tree account this weekend . thank you for update the info for us rockies . how is the average mileage we gonna drive every week ?
Cents per mile based on experience. $245 per load, $25 per store But you should expect to get your true up of $1700 a week if you do everything correctly
Its kind of funny to me that they load those trailers the way they do then expect you bring back an organized trailer. It looks like more of an unsecured load the way they load you outbound.
Would’ve been annoying doing this with out the rack lol. I’m taking my truck to shop cause my ac hardly ever works. I hope they fix it and don’t swap me into a truck that doesn’t have a rack.
@ProfessorTrucker it's my pleasure and thank you for the kind comment! I agree, I do believe it would be much better if they at least provided the necessities. Be safe out there, Driver and God bless
I had to do 2 separate trailer loads with two separate trainers. You stay in your truck and just follow them, though. They are governed at 68 mph. You're welcome 👍
You’re very welcome! Thank you for the kind comment 🙏That sounds about right. I have found that many companies make the pay sound better than it is, but with us Xpress I brought home $1500 a week after taxes. They had true up pay. So as long as you were on time you made $1700, before taxes. There are some good opportunities out there in the trucking industry.
The only reason I left is because of their scheduling. They don’t have a consistent schedule. 34 hours off per week but no set days as to when your time off is. I have 4 kids so for me that wasn’t okay. But other than that it pays great and I enjoyed it. It’s very physical work though.
Im not trucking this weekend but here i am watching your video while enjoying my first cup of coffee. Drive safely!

How is it going for you? And it's my pleasure, my friend! Thank you for the kind words.
The recruiter said the average pay is from 1300-1500 is this true? I don’t see the 1700 guaranteed pay.
They had $1700 true up pay when I was there. Someone else mentioned them saying they had no true up pay as well now. I'm no longer there. But I wouldn't consider that account if they didn't have true up any longer.
Why did you leave @@bluegrassoutdoors
You have come a long way in a short period of time! Congrats on your hard-earned success👍
I do this through CR England - it's hard work - especially when you got a pallet of water - but it does pay pretty well - stay safe!
Connor is working hard I see, glad you can take your son on the road with you man.
Thanks for the added effort to make these great videos.

Looks like you are settling in Dillon. Glad everything is going well and great to see you and Carter . Wishing you and the family all the best....👍🤙

Good to see you’re doing well and making a proper amount of money.

That’s a great job Dylan

how is the average mileage we gonna drive every week ?
I was getting around 1500-2000 miles sometimes still but the biggest part of the pay is the true up. And you’re very welcome
I’m out in phase two with my trainer. We are just outside Minneapolis taking a 34.
Whyd you cut the scene at 3:06 - 3:07? I'd like to see how you parked
What's a full week paycheck look like with the account and how do they pay you for the unloads?
Cents per mile based on experience. $245 per load, $25 per store But you should expect to get your true up of $1700 a week if you do everything correctly
this is not easy I have with DG“dollar general”before really bad. at least they have it on the cart still bad and heavy.
Its kind of funny to me that they load those trailers the way they do then expect you bring back an organized trailer. It looks like more of an unsecured load the way they load you outbound.

Do they have different accounts? Anything up in Michigan?
What are the US Express trucks outfitted with (refrigerator, microwave, etc)?
@ProfessorTrucker nothing but a mattress. I had to wait to get my mattress as well.
Yikes. I’m talking to them now about this account in the Upper Midwest. Thanks for the great videos.
@ProfessorTrucker it's my pleasure and thank you for the kind comment! I agree, I do believe it would be much better if they at least provided the necessities. Be safe out there, Driver and God bless
some places pay by piece rate or how many trailers they fill
😎
How long did you have to stay with a trainer? If you come in with Otr experience
And are the trucks governed? Thanks

@@bluegrassoutdoorswhat u mean you follow them?
Yes
@@bluegrassoutdoors u follow them in your truck to the stores?
Hi, Thanks sir so much for your vids. I'm trucker, looking at a fl possible fd account, told I could expect 1400 per week...?

@bluegrassoutdoors why did you leave? Any major con?
