You didn't think that they had sex with there their friend's husband did you? But besides that I feel like your point was to attack the virgin birth of Mary so let me remind you that God can do anything in our universe just like a programmer can do anything in their worlds

Mary, the Mother of Jesus, holds a very special position in Islam, and God proclaims her to be the best woman amongst all humanity, whom He chose above all other women due to her piety and devotion.
“And (mention) when the angels said, ‘O Mary! Indeed God has chosen you, and purified you, and has chosen you above all other women of the worlds. O Mary! Be devoutly obedient to your Lord and prostrate and bow with those bow (in prayer).’” (Quran 3:42-43)
She was also made by God an example to follow, as He said:
“And (God sets forth the example for those who Believe) of Mary, the daughter of Heli, who guarded her chastity, so We blew into it through Our Angel (i.e., Gabriel), and she believed in the words of her Lord and His Scriptures and was of the devoutly obedient.” (Quran 66:12)
Indeed she was a woman who was fit to bring such a miracle as that of Jesus, who was born without a father. She was known for her piety and chastity, and if it were any different, then none would have believed her claim to have given birth while remaining in a state of virginity, a belief and fact to which Islam holds true. Her special nature was one which many miracles proved of from her early childhood. Let us recount what God revealed in regards to the beautiful story of Mary.
    The Childhood of Mary
“Indeed God chose Adam, Noah, the family of Abraham and the family of Heli above all others of the creation. Offspring, one of the other, and God is the All-Hearer, All-Knower. (Remember) when the wife (Hannah; also Anne, Ann, Anna) of Heli said: ‘O my Lord! I have vowed to You what (the child that) is in my womb to be dedicated for Your services (to serve Your Place of worship), so accept this, from me. Verily, You are the All-Hearer, the All-Knowing.” (Quran 3:35)
Mary was born to Heli and his wife Hannah, who was of Davidic descent, thus coming from a family of Prophets, from Abraham, to Noah, to Adam, may the Peace and Blessings of God be on them all. As mentioned in the verse, she was born to the chosen family of Heli, who was born into the chosen family of Abraham, who was also born into a chosen family. Hannah was a barren woman who longed for a child, and she made a vow to God that, if He granted her a child, she would consecrate him to His service in the Temple. God answered her invocation, and she conceived a child. When she gave birth, she was saddened, for her child was female, and it was usually males who were given in service to Bait-ul-Maqdis.
“So when she gave birth to her, she said, ‘My Lord! I have delivered a female…and the male is not like the female.”
When she expressed her sorrow, God rebuked her saying:
“…And God knows best what she delivered…” (Quran 3:36)
…for God chose her daughter, Mary, to be the mother of one of the greatest miracles of creation: the virgin birth of Jesus, may the mercy and blessings of God be upon him. Hannah named her child Mary (Maryam in Arabic) and invoked God to protect her and her child from Satan:
“…And I have named her Mary (Maryam), and commend her and her offspring to your protection from Satan, the outcast.” (Quran 3:36)
God indeed accepted this supplication of hers, and He gave Mary and her soon to come child, Jesus, a special trait - given to none before nor after; neither of them were afflicted by the touch of Satan upon birth. The Prophet Muhammad, may the mercy and blessings of God be upon him, said:
“None are born except that Satan touches them upon their birth, due to which it comes out screaming from its touch, except Mary and her son (Jesus).” (Ahmed)
Here, we can immediately see a similarity between this narration and the Christian theory of the “Immaculate Conception” of Mary and Jesus, although there is a great difference between the two. Islam does not propagate the theory of ‘original sin’, and therefore does not condone this interpretation of how they were free from the touch of Satan, but rather that this was a grace given by God to Mary and her son Jesus. As other prophets, Jesus was protected from committing grave sins. As for Mary, even if we take the position that she was not a prophetess, she nevertheless received the protection and guidance of God which He grants the pious believers.
“So her Lord accepted her with gracious acceptance, and reared her in purity and beauty, and entrusted her to the care of Zachary.” (Quran 3:37)
Upon the birth of Mary, her mother Hannah took her to Bait-ul-Maqdis and offered her to those in the mosque to grow under their tutelage. Knowing the nobility and piety of their family, they quarreled as to who would have the honor to rear her. They agreed to cast lots, and it was none other than the prophet Zachary who was chosen. It was under his care and tutelage which she was reared.
Miracles in her Presence and Visitation by Angels
As Mary grew older, even the prophet Zachary noticed the special features of Mary, due to the various miracles which occurred in her presence. Mary, as she was growing up, was given a secluded room within the mosque where she could devote herself to the worship of God. Whenever Zachary would enter the chamber to see to her needs, he would find abundant, and out of season, fruit in her presence.
“Whenever Zachary entered the chamber, he found her provided with sustenance. He said, ‘O Mary! From where did you get this?’ She replied, ‘It is from God.’ Surely God bestows sustenance upon whom He pleases without measure.” (Quran 3:37)
She was visited by angels on more than one occasion. God tells us that the angels visited her and informed her of her praised status amongst humanity:
“When the angels said, ‘O Mary! God has chosen you and purified you (due to your worship and devotion), and chosen you (by making you the mother of the prophet Jesus) above the women of the worlds. O Mary! Pray to your Lord devoutly, and prostrate yourself, and bow down with those who bow down.’” (Quran 3:42-43)
Due to these visitations of the angels and her being chosen above other women, some have held that Mary was a prophetess. Even if she was not, which is a matter of debate, Islam still deems her having the highest status amongst all women of creation due to her piety and devotion, and due to her being chosen for the miraculous birth of Jesus.

He who denies Mary's virginity denies God's words and here's why:
God never changes. If God changed, He could only change for the better or for the worse. Since God is perfect and is always perfect; He neither can become better nor worsen. This, however, does not in any way mean God cannot change His plan. He can change whatever in His plan He wants, but He himself never changes.
The Word is God and the Word never changes. Since the Word never changes, when the Word is spoken, as in Mat 1:23, "Behold, a virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and his name shall be called Emmanuel”, these spoken words will never change; therefore Mary, a virgin, is always a virgin. If Mary were a virgin for only a number of years in her life, then the Word would become untrue after these years had passed. The Word, however, is the truth and is always true; so, Mary, a virgin, must always be a virgin. Moreover, as the Word was spoken, Mary, “a virgin shall conceive and bear a son”, not sons, these words will never change; thus Mary gave birth to only one son, Jesus. Though Mary gave birth only to one Son; through Baptism, many have become children of God by being incorporated into the Body of Christ. Therefore, all those who belong to Christ’s body are also sons and daughters of Mary. So Christians, honor Mary, our evervirgin Mother. He who denied Mary’s virginity denied the words of God.
The Universal Church, the Body of Christ, teaches: The deepening of faith in the virginal motherhood led the Church to confess Mary's real and perpetual virginity even in the act of giving birth to the Son of God made man.154 In fact, Christ's birth "did not diminish his mother's virginal integrity but sanctified it."155 and so the liturgy of the Church celebrates Mary as Aeiparthenos, the "Evervirgin".156 (Catechism of The Catholic Church 499, see CCC for foot notes 154, 155, and 156).

Jadah Dillard Jadah Dillard, first you must know that the word "virgin" does not even mean a person who hasn't had sex yet. The Scriptures were written in The Hebrew tongue, and we are reading it in English, and the words don't always mean the same thing. Remember the serpent was the most subtil beast YAH created (Gen 3:1 kjv). So in stead of the serpent changing Scripture, he got crafty and changed the meaning of words. Then taught us in his religions and in his schools deferent definitions of key and vital words that we use in the Scriptures to cause confusion, doubt and disbelief. Take for instance the word "unicorn" which is throughout the Scriptures. You know what we have been taught what a unicorn is through their schools and televisions. But when you look up the true meaning in Hebrew, it's just an rhinoceros, a rhino. It has a long horn in the center of its head (unihorn/unicorn). And another key reason is to hide the fact that the rhinos are in "Africa"(where the Scriptures was written and where they took place!). But do you know how many people do not believe in the Scriptures just because of that one word (unicorn). So when we do pick up YAH'S Scriptures and read them, we lack understanding and without understanding we can't hear or see the truth (Prov 4:7 kjv). But YAH is pouring out HIS spirit of understanding and truth in these last days to those who fear HIM, and keep HIS Commandments.
      Psalm 111:10 kjv

And the verses showing that all throughout the so called old and new testament that YAHUSHA (Jesus) was prophesied to come from a man, and that everyone in the "new testament" knew Joseph was HIS father. WHY DID JESUS CALL MARY WOMAN? JESUS SAID THIS FOR OUR SAKES, GOD SEES ALL THINGS HE KNEW THIS DAY WOULD COME WHERE EVIL MEN WOULD PUT MARY ABOVE HIM. IN SCRIPTURE THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD, AND ONE MEDIATOR BETWEEN GOD AND MAN, THE MAN JESUS CHRIST 1 TIMOTHY 2:5. HE CALLED MARY WOMAN JUST AS HE CALLED ALL WOMEN TO LET US KNOW SHE WAS JUST A WOMAN LIKE ALL OTHERS, BUT ONE OF GOD’S CHOSEN PEOPLE, HE WAS DISTANCING HIMSELF FROM HER LETTING HER KNOW (HE ONLY OBEYS GOD), NO ONE ELSE JOHN 2:4 (AND WE ARE TO DO THE SAME JUST AS JESUS DID). GOD’S WORD SAYS ONE MEDIATOR OR INTERCESSOR, BUT MAN SAYS WHAT THEY WANT, AND THAT’S AGAINST GOD, AND HIS WORD, THOSE WHO GOES AGAINST GOD’S WORD GOD WILL FORSAKE THEM, WHICH WILL LEAD TO A DEPRAVED MIND. GOING AGAINST GOD, AND HIS WORD LEADS TO NO FORGIVENESS IN THIS WORLD, NEITHER IN THE WORLD TO COME ROMANS 1:28. Mary was not a virgin at the time of Jesus's birth, for in the King James Bible of Matthew 1:22-23 it states that she would be with a child and give birth to a son, here is where people miss concept that Mary was a virgin, instead they not did not realize that it was saying that Mary would be with a son of David and conceive a child, and it only makes sense because Joseph was a son of David and it was prophesied that Jesus would come from the bloodline of David, if indeed Mary was a virgin and gave birth to Jesus miraculously it would wipe out the whole concept of Jesus being born from the bloodline of David and Abraham. If you really read your Bible with a open mind it becomes clear.

When he refers to the Greek 200 years before Jesus saying parthenos he is referring to the septuigent. However, he is misleading the audience because the legend of the septuigent translation was 200 years BEFORE Jesus and did not contain any books of the prophets. It only contained the 1st 5 books of Torah. There are no surviving manuscripts from the Torah written by 70 Jewish elders.
The version that he is using to make his "proofs" are from a later Greek translation that hijacked the name septuigent to gain some credibility. this version which does contain the book of Isaiah was codified in the 3rd century AFTER Jesus's time. Im sure those unknown authors had no bias when translating Isaiah 7 to say parthenos (virgin).

What this guy ignores is the actual definition of Betulah and Almah. You’ve got rabbis arguing one way and you have these Christian’s arguing the other… but neither gives the actual definition… why? Because then both lose!
A Virgin in the classical sense is only part of the definition not the whole thing.
Mishnah 3:1 states; “R. Eliezer says, ‘it suffices for four kinds of women to count their time of experiencing a menstrual discharge: a virgin, a pregnant woman, the woman that gives suck and an old woman. R. Joshua said, “I have not heard such a rule applies to other than a virgin.”
The Law states in Mishnah Taharot, tractate Niddah 1; 4:1 “Who is deemed a virgin? “Anyone that has never yet menstruated, even if she is wed, and who is accounted a pregnant woman, she who is manifestly with her young and is considered a woman that gives suck. One until she weans her child; if she weaned it, or if it died.”
The definition is about 4 types of women that share a single attribute, the lack of issue of blood.
Mariam was not without sexual relations with Joseph but with a period. This is why Mariam is so emphatic about “how is that possible since I am a virgin”… it is not impossible for a virgin to become pregnant but for a woman of the 4 types… in this case a young woman that has not had her period yet. She felt she was cursed because she had not gotten her period yet and was delaying her marriage because of it. This is why she was “greatly troubled”.
Further the Angel uses another Betulah as an example, Elizabeth. She was well into menopause and thus a “virgin”. This is the sign given.
Joseph knows about Mariam’s situation but has doubts when she leaves suddenly for 3-4 months without anyone seeing her during that time. It isn’t clear if she slept with Yoseph before leaving or after coming back but it sounded a lot like daytime tv questions about fatherhood. She was feeling she was cursed before and then after 3-4 months disappearing poof she is so happy and saying a miracle happened. Yoseph who may have been much older, could have considered she had a younger man and thought to divorce her to be with her true love who apparently changed her mood and made her happy. His manhood was shaken it seems.
When you get rid of the Christian fairytale and Hellenism, it’s fairly obvious.
Lastly, Tribal linage only comes from a natural heir not adoption or through marriage. Even if one was adopted, they would belong to the male parental tribe not the adopted one.
This guy’s assumptions are made up and not based on ancient Jewish law.
Had no one considered that this process of a spiritual being impregnating a physical being, is what caused the flood? Why is it wrong when the angels do it but okay when the Christian God does it?
Being born through the Holy Spirit is a reference to all the miracle births that took place previous ie. Sarah the Betulah. It was the pattern to have women revived not impregnated outside natural methods. It has to follow the pattern. Was the woman mentioned in Isaiah 7 a virgin like the Christian Mary too? It is all so convoluted. We should be looking for horses not zebras.

If you can't believe in the perpetual virginity of the Blessed Mother of God, at least let you believe Jesus was conceived in a virginal way through the work of the holy Spirit God. Is it possible a flesh union among a man and his wife cause the generation of God? Is it possible some finite and mortal bodies cause the birth of an infinite and immortal one? Jesus died on the cross, but he was predestinated to the Resurrection and thus definetely immortal. Being God, He couldn't remain dead and must return to be alive after the death on the cross.
The problem, your problem is the belief in the divinity of Jesus Christ Gd with which the virginity of Mary becomes a rational and self-evident consequence.

Who was the miracle birth given as a sign to king Ahaz? Same prophecy used in the gospels. You cant change the meaning to fit a false doctrine.. And who is the child of Revelation 12 that written as a future prophecy 40 years after Jesus was supposedly born?
The miracle birth is the NEW BIRTH or spiritual resurrection not a physical birth. As noted in Romans 1:3-4 for Jesus.
Unfortunately people haven't figured out the virgin birth story is a corruption added by Rome. If you read it carefully you can find the obvious evidence of corruption.

It is the official position of the Roman Catholic Church that Jesus' mother Mary remained a virgin for her entire life. Is this concept biblical? Before we look at specific Scriptures, it is important to understand why the Roman Catholic Church believes in the perpetual virginity of Mary. The Roman Catholic Church views Mary as "the Mother of God" and "Queen of Heaven." Catholics believe Mary to have an exalted place in Heaven, with the closest access to Jesus and God the Father. Such a concept is nowhere taught in Scripture. Further, even if Mary did occupy such an exalted position, her having sexual intercourse would not have prevented her from gaining such a position. Sex in marriage is not sinful. Mary would have in no way defiled herself by having sexual relations with Joseph her husband. The entire concept of the perpetual virginity of Mary is based on an unbiblical teaching, Mary as Queen of Heaven, and on an unbiblical understanding of sex.
So, what does the Bible say about the perpetual virginity of Mary? Using the New American Bible, which is a Catholic translation, we can see that the perpetual virginity of Mary is not taught in the Bible. Matthew 1:25 NAB tells us, "He had no relations with her until she bore a son, and he named him Jesus." He, Joseph, did not have sexual relations with her, Mary, UNTIL after she bore a son, Jesus." The meaning of this Scripture is abundantly clear. Joseph and Mary did not have sexual relations until after Jesus was born. Matthew 13:55-56 NAB declares, "Is He not the carpenter's son? Is not his mother named Mary and his brothers James, Joseph, Simon, and Judas? Are not His sisters all with us?" Catholics claim, correctly, that the Greek terms for "brothers" and "sisters" in these verses could also refer to male and female relatives, not necessarily literal brothers and sisters. However, the intended meaning is clear, they thought Jesus to be Joseph's son, the son of Mary, and the brother of James, Joseph, Simon, and Judas, and the brother of the unnamed and unnumbered sisters. Father, mother, brother, sister. It is straining the meaning of the text to interpret “brothers” and “sisters” as "cousins" or "relatives" with the mentioning of Jesus' mother and father.
Matthew 12:46 NAB tells us, "While He was still speaking to the crowds, His mother and His brothers appeared outside, wishing to speak with Him." See also Mark 3:31-34; Luke 8:19-21; John 2:12; and Acts 1:14. All mention Jesus' mother with His brothers. If they were His cousins, or the sons of Joseph from a previous marriage, why were they mentioned with Mary so often? The idea of the perpetual virginity of Mary cannot be drawn from Scripture. It must be forced on Scripture, in contradiction to what the Scriptures clearly state.

From the early Church Fathers to St Augustine .... all proclaimed the perpetual Virginity of Mary.... To say otherwise is a heresy .... it always had been and it always will be. Here is an example of two pretty smart holy guys on the subject .... St Thomas Aquinas says quoting St Augustine “it is written (Ezekiel 44:2): “This gate shall be shut, it shall not be opened, and no man shall pass through it; because the Lord the God of Israel hath entered in by it.” Expounding these words, Augustine says in a sermon (De Annunt. Dom. iii): “What means this closed gate in the House of the Lord, except that Mary is to be ever inviolate? What does it mean that ‘no man shall pass through it,’ save that Joseph shall not know her? And what is this-‘The Lord alone enters in and goeth out by it’-except that the Holy Ghost shall impregnate her, and that the Lord of angels shall be born of her? And what means this-‘it shall be shut for evermore’-but that Mary is a virgin before His Birth, a virgin in His Birth, and a virgin after His Birth?” That’s St Thomas Aquinas quoting St Augustine .... these are giants.... intellectual and spiritual giants and Helevedias in the 6th century asserted what was a heresy and that is what you are asserting here as truth .... a blasphemy that was addressed beautifully by St Augustine, Aquinas and also Luther and I believe John Calvin was a believer in the perpetual virginity of Mary quoting St Jerome in the 4th century who defended it. I don’t get your problem with the Perpetual Virginity of Mary. I really don’t. Sexual relations in marriage of course is not a sin ....but this isn’t about that.

@Afzal Khan you have a perspective, a Christian have a perspective and the truth. So in reality both of you could be wrong or one of you right. But one can never deny is that Jesus is the most acclaimed n famous personality of this era on the face of this earth. Talking about JESUS birth, let's take both the perspective 1. He was born of virgin lady. 2. He was born like everyone else. You do not believe in the 1st one because your knowledge of biological science n anthropological evidences plus your faith in the theory behind such subjects does not support it. Similarly a Christian believes in it because according to his knowledge of scripture n faith which is a long process , he is assured of it. So in short we can say that both of you are lingering on the branch of faith. So the question arises is whose faith is right? Well again there is no direct answer to it. As I said faith is a long process based on one's experience and knowledge. But one thing is sure both of you could be wrong or one of you is right.

The Hebrew means "young woman," not "virgin" (which you at least mention). Moreover it is not obvious, such as is simply presumed by Asher here, that the scripture is about Yeshua. I'm not "attacking" a faith-- I grew up in it. Rather, I am using my brain and intellect. The Gospel According to Matthew reveals what probably happened. Its author drew upon certain Hebrew scriptures (in Greek, most likely). Both he and Luke had an agenda in terms of how they presented the narrative. In supposedly "fulfilling scripture" he presented things like Asher (i.e., things HAD to be that way). But it's far more likely Mary was either raped by a Roman soldier given their presence in and around Sepphoris or slept with someone other than Joseph. Only a closed mind would think an invisible, masculine entity getting a teenager pregnant is MORE LIKELY.
