I have a series 4 stainless and it’s still doing just great. I tried the Ultra on today and it was just too big for me to rock. Debated a series 8, but my 4 is still doing just great so I hope the 9 or beyond gets some of the features specifically better battery life
I love my Apple Watch Series 7! It’s my favorite apple product that I own. Every one needs an Apple Watch if you have an iPhone! It ups the experience big time

@@ronthorn3 you could yes but as someone who actively tries to stay off his phone when he doesn’t have to be on it the watch is a nice way to stay connected without the need to pull out your phone
What size did you get?
My mom gave me her Series 3 since she wasn’t using it. It’s sooo convenient having notifications on my wrist and it’s helping encourage me to be physically active.

I have an Apple Watch Series 6. I use mine for fitness and pill reminders + the basics. I like being able to measure my heart rate whenever I wanted. I don’t plan on upgrading anytime soon.
I have the Apple Watch 6 and like it. It is my late sister’s watch so I am not so anxious to upgrade. Anyway it’s great for motivation to keep fit. The new compass app is great.
Planning to get my first Apple Watch by the end of the year. I got my first job a couple weeks ago and I am excited to get something for myself. I have a series 4 and it still works great and does everything I need. I tend to not rely more n devices for my health. Went from type 2 diabetes to non diabetic by more walking and additional ng more vegetables to my diet.
Got my first Apple Watch back in 2019, the Series 5. Definitely one of my favourite Apple devices I own, and I love using it for workouts. Always preferred to wear a watch, tried going for a couple weeks without one and hated it, and the Apple Watch is just so useful.
I remember when it came out i got the s5 and returned it because i didn’t use it much beside looking at the time so I figured I could buy a cheaper watch instead but just recently my work company gifted us the s8 so I’m giving it another try what are some of the main things you do with it personally?

Couldn't agree with you more. In this modern world of conveniences, Apple Watch is a great reminder to stay healthy and fit. And no excuses for saying it's expensive either, I got my series 1 since 2016 and still works just as fine for the past 6 years. That equates to about $60 per/year only. As compared to an old Garmin wrist band which I got around $100 back then, couldn't even get past the 3rd year of usage. The strap broke and also stopped syncing with any smartphone. My Apple Watch has also gone through sand, mud, swims, knocks and climbs and refuses to die. So with each passing year, my eventual upgrade will get more and more epic. 💪

My first watch was the The series 6 40mm upgraded to series 8 45mm. On sale for $329 at Best Buy, wanted product red, it was Locked and got the silver one for less. Saw some on clearance for less than $250 as low as $189 . I was beside myself . Battery 🔋 life is awesome .
I’ve had my first Apple Watch for just over a month. I was thisclose to getting the SE2, but finally decided to splurge on the Series 7 non-cellular 41 Nike in Starlight - I’m hoping it lasts me for a long time. Favourite features include sleep and exercise tracking, the storage so I can download music/podcasts and leave my iPhone at home when I take my dog for a walk, and the ability to control my Apple smart home via my Watch. I definitely made the right decision. It only leaves my wrist during my “morning routine”.
I have the S7 and it’s pretty awesome. For what it offers, it’s pretty cool. The 8 generation didn’t call my attention this year honestly.
I had galaxy watches for years mostly for fashion & convenience. This year I got my 1st iPhone and Watch. Love them. Fashionable, convenience, health, safety, Pay, used the Card to pay overtime
I’m impressed with your weight loss. You’ve convinced me to buy an Apple Watch, but I’m torn between my parsimonious desire to be cheap and my desire to get something more durable that won’t get scratched up. Great video, Greg. I purchased my first Apple watch this year, and it's a series 7 45 mm. Thus far, I'm enjoying the experience as it's paired with my iPhone 13 Pro. However, I may upgrade to the Apple watch Ultra 2 next year. Since this is my first time purchasing an Apple Watch, I thought I would get a middle-in-the-road version and see how it goes. So next year, I believe I may be willing to pay a little extra for a larger display. Great video, and thank you for sharing your experience at losing weight. Very inspiring!

I decided to buy the SE version! I ordered it yesterday and go to pick it up today. I can’t wait!! I mainly wanted the Apple Watch because I’m sick of being glued to my phone all the time. I plan on using some of the features whilst I’m out of the house, like making lists and checking the time and messages. I think it’ll be better to not have to constantly take my phone out of my pocket. Having these things attached to my wrist just feel like I’ll be able to keep my hands free more often 😄
Also bought the same as series 7 and 8 are overpriced and i don’t use those features

I had series’s 6. My main reasons for it was to track my health, and notify emergency services when I faint. I have POTS. I upgraded to the 8 for the even more health features, and battery life

Have my iPhone 14 Pro Max and an Apple Watch Ultra on the way. I have the original AirPods Pro nothing wrong with them besides some buzzing in the left bud when transparency is on. Not sure if I want to upgrade those yet though.

The Ultra is cool if you’re going to use the features for the added price tag. I have the 8. I’m loving it coming from a Series 5. Looking at my old watch and the new watch. It doesn’t look much different but the bigger screen size showed quickly.

I have this issue too. There are several posts about this glitch out there. It is now showing up on the Ultra as well.

I upgraded from a SE (1) to a series 8. Now, the S8 is a really good watch; I love the increased speed, shrunken bezels, and native keyboard. Unfortunately, I didn’t really know about the Ultra at the time of purchase. Now that I’ve seen countless review videos on it, and having seen one out in the wild (lol), I really wish I’d just continued saving up money to eventually get the Ultra, rather than the S8. Like I said, the 8 is a really good watch, but bigger/bulkier watches have always been my preference, having always worn Invicta watches. I plan on getting the Ultra anyways. It’ll just take me a while to save up the cash. The way I planned it out, a little over a month. Wouldn’t take so long had I held off on the S8 and just put the $400 towards the Ultra. Live and learn lol
Edit: I achieved my goal of buying an Apple Watch Ultra back in the first week of December. I could not be happier 😁

Honestly the reason to open it is because of emergencies crash detection if your phone gets lost stolen or just doesn’t work you have your Apple Watch and it has your location emergency sos heart rate monitor etc that’s the reason to get one especially when you are at work you can’t take out your phone but you can check your watches notifications fast honestly for emergencies it’s really worth it!

I walk about 15 miles ish a day.

I am 78 year old and dive a 1966 Dodge Charger, only time my fell detector goes off is while I am driving that car; I can barely hear the watch and it is a pain to have to cancel that alarm wile driving
This feature of unlocking the iPhone or Mac with the approach of the Apple Watch doesn't seem so safe to me, because anyone can pick up my watch and gain access. Face ID at least only unlocks if you have your eyes open and looking at the screen, so even if someone takes my phone and points it to my face while I sleep, it won't work.
Apple support in my country can’t find out whether the release buttons on here are steel. Nothing about the Ultra and its screws either. Do you know? If not, I would massively appreciate if you can get a reply out of Apple support where you’re located.

I want to purchase my first Apple Watch to pair with my new iPhone 14 pro max. Most reviewers seem to say the 8 and 7 are the same. But I’m not sure where to reliably purchase a 7.
Get a ultra. You want stainless steel and for stainless steel on the s8 is $749 so it’s only $50 more for all of the pros of the ultra
I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max, and just picked up a series 7 GPS 45 millimeter for a little over 400 dollars (a bit cheaper than the series 8 however I didn’t mind because they are pretty much the same). I thought I would regret it, but it is amazing, would highly consider buying a series 7.
This may sound silly, but how did you get your watch to show heart rate zones? I have the series 5 and I believe I updated it to the latest, but is this feature only for the new series? I do have the Ultra coming in, but it’s not showing up until the end of Oct (too cheap to pay the extra for express delivery, and using the series 5 as a trade in hence the late arrival date I suppose) Also, totally inspired by your weight loss journey, I’m hoping to write my own with the new watch =)

I Love my Apple Watch Series 6 (bought last 2020) and paying Apple Care+ in a monthly basis, now I’m waiting for the replacement of my Apple Watch Series 6 since Philippines only have an Apple Authorized Service center they told me to wait 3-4 weeks since the replacement will come from Singapore, it started with “I need to replace my Apple Watch Battery since I’ve been using it for 2 years now” and they found something error on the battery they told me it’s a hardware failure but the Watch is still working battery health went to 77% and now apple approved to replace the whole thing 😅 plus unlimited repairs 😍 damn I never thought that it will be useful in the future thank god I have apple care+
