    Very interesting kit. I would like to build it myself. Painting schemes and decals also quite interesting.

    What a sweet little aircraft .. you did an amazing job with a dogs dinner of a kit .. Well done.. it looks beautiful . It is so nice you made a model of a plane you actually flew.. fantastic :)

    Well, you certainly made a hell of a lot better than I did with that kit. I can't believe you spent all that money on that kit with the photo etch and the rest of it. The kit needs it, for sure, but I lift my hat, really nice result!!! Well done!

      Ha ha, this kit is known by Swedish model builders to be an absolute nightmare. You really need to consider to scratch build every part.

    Björn Karlströms drawings are fantastic. I have 3 books. Swedish airplanes . Not JAS .

      Thank you maestro! Yes, I understand the feeling... I have another one waiting to be built as the silver four-seater SE-DXG. Should be possible... Some day.

      @@tomsmodeltime6662 Ohhhh. that's a great idea! Btw a modelling friend of mine is collecting kits to build the complete Team 60 "En Sexa Skåne" - that is borderline crazy :D :D

    I didn.t know that this kit was so bad. SAAB 105 is the airplane i admire. Handsome and agile. I love it.

    You created quite an attractive finished model. Amazing, really, considering how bad the kit was to start with!

    I can make a hood clear. just sand it with 2000 paper and polish with toothpaste or something like that

    • @tomsmodeltime6662
      @tomsmodeltime6662  3 года назад

      Yes, I use Tamiya polishing compounds (red/blue/silver) to polish back the shine. But if the part itself is deformed and molded from slightly opaque plastic, it doesn't really help...

    And I thought that MiG-17PF kit is primitive...

    • @tomsmodeltime6662

      Yes, this is a really crude kit, but currently it is the only available 1:72 kit of the SK-60. There are rumours of a new tooling in progress in scale 1:48 from Pilot Replicas, but I don't know when it is due (if ever).

    where did you buy the parts

    • @tomsmodeltime6662
      @tomsmodeltime6662  3 года назад

      Which parts do you mean? The kit itself was bought from Hannants in the UK, the photo-etched set and vac-formed canopies from Rebell Hobby in Sweden and the resin smoke canisters from AlfaHobby in Sweden. A lot of the small details, such as the intake pipes, were taken from my own spares box, or scratch made made from Evergreen styrene strips.

    Now I have to hope somebody else is doing a kit on it with it retiring at the end of the year in Austria. Really want to build one but as somebody who really just started out not doable. You did an awesome job there.
