Welcome to my channel dedicated to building plastic aircraft model kits. So far only stills and descriptive text - I don't particularly like my voice very much, so no talking, sorry... so you may switch off the background music if you wish. I hope that you will find these videos inspirational and relaxing. If you however for any reason wish to click on the thumbs-down button, please let me know why, so I can try to improve.

Hello Tom! Could you share the Tamiya acryl paints you used? What green is better for the radar radome? Thanks
@@fmorenov94 For the metal coat I am exclusively using AK Xtreme Metal paints. All other details are painted using various Tamiya acrylics. I always mix my own paints to match the actual photos and I almost never use anything directly from the jar. Mixing hues becomes quite intuitive after a while. The radome green is mainly XF-67 Nato Green with a pinch of XF-4 Yellow Green for a deeper tone, a lot of XF-8 Blue to cool it down and then a certain amount of XF-2 White to make it look sun-faded.
Excellent work on the Hungarian helo. Bill
Много не соответствует: втулка несущего винта не похожа и слишком большая,капот двигателей (кабан)обводы не соответствует прототипу,хвостовая балка тоже печально (
I am aware of the inaccuracies of the Hobby Boss kit. But as far as I know, no other manufacturer makes the Mi-2.
Very, very nice!! Thanks.
😂
I am happy to have made you laugh.
Beautiful, beautiful model.... :) :) I may have to get that etched set, it really made a difference to the cockpit as well.. :)
Хорошая модель,и прекрасная работа!
Bought this kit years ago for my German 262 jets, but haven’t had the courage to start. Thanks for the inspiration!!
Great build and finish 👍
Stupendo esemplare, bravo
Nice . Wonderful airplane and wonderful building .
Está muito bonito! Parabéns! O plastimodelista que rebaixa relevo é um intrépido.
Nice build need get this kit very soon 😃😃
Good job, but stablizer left as terrible as it was at ex-KP model. It is not similar at one on real airplane at all!
I definitely know. That is why I later built a PF from the Airfix kit. Please check out that build video for comparison!
Excellent, not sure why you don’t have more subscribers, hopefully this will help the algorithm.
Wow! I’d just seen the hangar in your Spitfire Mk XIX video so I had to come and find out how you did it. So realistic.
Wow! Beautiful, subscribed.
Nice 😃
TMT, Dude, you kick ass! Need I say more?
Thank you friend!
Tom's Model Time, Sir, your execution of this model is fantastic. Great job. Thank you for adding the types of glue and colors when used on this slide show. I just picked up this model today at a local hobby supply store in Texas. I am looking forward to putting it, and the other nine helicopter (1/72 scale) models together too. Yeah, I have my work cut out for me.
Thank you and have fun!
Outstanding, simply Outstanding.
The canopy of this kit is terribly wrong. Unfortunally.
The canopy is not that bad really. It is not perfect, but it is far from being the worst problem with this kit. The wing roots and the intakes are much worse.
thanks for posting. I have a grad/Ural to build. I have a question about decals. The word "O%HEONACHO". Can anyone translate please. I had a quick check online , I know its not "Fuel". Any ideas please
"огнеопасно" means "flammable" in Russian. Have fun with your build!
A big thumb up for an outstanding job! Amodel kits always need a thorough parts cleanup and careful dry fitting to join the parts properly, and yours went together beautifully. The canopy fit is perfect and overall, the paint nicely represents the original. 👍👍👍.
Сделать столько "сусликов" в салоне и оставить переразмеренный ротор?
There were no replacement rotors for this kit so I had to use the provided one.
Well tidy.
interesting subject....terrible kit....great model! 👍
Thank you!
Nice work. I maybe am wrong, but I don’t think the F16 Wing ever had any Lansen’s
Thank you! A number of J32's were transferred from F13 to F16 Målflygdivisionen at Malmslätt after the decommissioning of F13. These had been converted into the electronic warfare version ("Störlansen") but they ended their lives as target tugs. This very airframe (32507) is actually the one you can see on its pylon along the E4 near SAAB Linköping (repainted of course).
Beautifully Done
A silk purse from a sow’s ear. Great job 👍🏻
Very nice job. Being inspired decided that I'll make it in UA Airforce.
Nice!
LOVELY HOW MUCH IS THIS FIGHTER
Do you have TORNADO OR GRIPEN FIGHTER
Very Nice! Well Done! Good Job!
Really cool model.
Really cool model.
Great attention to detail and a great build/finish.
Very very nice 👍
Very nice hangar kit. I had purchased the same PAG runway slab kit that you have here, but I was wondering about the accuracy of the slab surfaces. Do the actual slabs really have that criss cross pattern on them? I've always thought that the slabs should have a smooth surface.
No, the plates are in real life just prefab concrete slabs without any particular pattern. The edges were filled with black asphalt. I didn’t particularly care reproducing this and was mainly focusing on the hangar.
@@tomsmodeltime6662 by coincedence, I happened to see a video today of the runway at the airport in Kherson. I could see the criss cross pattern in the slabs.
That's really amazing, love how it turned out!
YAK 52 OK . I have many of those.
At 6:47 You used a lathe?
No, just sanded by hand with sanding sticks.
most good looking airplane ever made
I agree, one of the prettiest!

🇭🇺🇸🇪⭐🌟🌠👍💘❤️
💥👍
During a take off the landing gear is down and the air brakes are activated?
No they are retracted during takeoff but drop automatically as the undercarriage is deployed during landing..
@@thomaskolb8785 OK
My Local model shop has a range of Mistercraft kits ,some of which I was interested in buying, however after this review I’m having second thoughts. Does anyone know if this is the exception or are all their kits crap.
A thoroughly well made video of an excellent build. It helped me see what paints and thinners work together. Lacquer based confuses me? The Mr.Color thinners works with Tamiya so im guessing the thinner is just acrylic( maybe :-/) Just started becoming interested in trainer aircraft after seeing them do aerobatics at Airshows. Not as dynamic as military aircraft but very colourful, reliable and what all the pilots start in. Heller though a bit pants by todays standard do such an interesting range. Impressed with your patience on the panel lines and canopy. Did you dip the canopy in ' Future/Pledge after your great efforts with polishing? Well done on the model and what an enjoyable and educational video. I salute you :-)
Thank you, I am really pleased that you enjoyed it! I don't usually use any kind of coating on the transparencies these days as I have experienced that the masking tape sometimes rips off the coating and it is a very annoying repair job.
Great build and finish 👍👍
