So amazing project 🤩 It's my dream to build an electric van and travel all around the world.
Tip: if you have a battery higher than 48vdc, you can use directly all your chargers, induction cooker, an even inverter fridge without any additional inverter from DC to AC.
I made tests and its works awesome, because in every charger AC turns to DC. And you don't need to do it multiple times.

dude you're freak ... I love that ... you're an inspiration for all of us, for three reasons:
    1. because you took the iconic VW T2 (surfer van) for the project
    2. because you have the guts to go for it, even if you're not a rocket scientist
    3. you're not afraid to fail, and this, for me, it's what really counts in life

I know this was months ago, but series hybrid is very efficient. A ICE running at constant load/speed makes it maximally efficient, you can plumb in a real car exhaust to minimise noise, and this would give you big range with a small battery. Best of both worlds.

I like classic cars, and its good to see others out there with the same passion. With electric coming of age, I didn't want the ''Prius'' looking electric car, I want a classic looking car. 50's Chevy truck, or old 55 Nomad.

If you cut them fenders out a little bit and add some big tires that would be great bro. Maybe some hydraulic shocks so its really smooth and can handle maybe a little off roading. Lol. That's awesome man. Wow
