awesome because my father was a huge fan of king diamond (he died when i was six). i was looking trough his stuff and found a huge painting like poster of the album "them". now it's in my wall and i buying all albuns of king diamond! this particular album (abigail II) got me clinically addicted now!!! XD
This is awesome! my Brother and I are huge fans of King and Mercyful Fate! I painted his face up like KING for Halloween a few years ago and he went everywhere and was hammered all night and got lots of compliments!!
You are lucky to get a father like him who loved metal. In my family "No way! I'm just a crazy freak to them." They don't even know what \m/etal really is!
yea he was a big influence on me... but some people just don't get or even respect metal, and that sucks... and if been a crazy freak means listening to masterpieces like this music. then i say: we're both crazy freaks! and at least i'm proud of that!
EXCELLENT !!! une fois lancée, la machine King Diamond écrase tout... et pour vous achever vous inflige un solo destructeur à 2:58... et on croit que c'est fini, ça repart !!!
I'm Just Saying That Because Really. There Ain't That Many Girls That Like This Kind Of Music,And 90's Kids Don't Really Know A Lot Of Old Music Like This That Is Good.
Wrong. I guess you live on the wrong continent. In Europe lots of girls like all kinds of metal. They range from 12/13 to 50/60 at festivals/shows here.
@MrContradictshun Try and sing??? You are talking down on one of the greatest and most influential vocalists in metal. Maybe high pitched singing isn't your thing but thats what makes the King unique. Plus the fact that his normal vocals are very versitile and at times highly operatic, plus the fact he as a nearly five octave vocal range. I'd like to see you try and sing perfect controlled falsettos and theatrical vocals like he can. He is the King for a reason, go ask James Hetfield
Puppet Master was so-so- in my opinion. I would describe it as melodic but uneventful musically. Another random ghost story with standard lyrics and solos. I could already "hear some cracks" on Abigail 2...but it was still great. I am biased of course. For me Diamond is all about the 80s and early 90s. The Eye, Conspiracy then with the newer lineup (and a more thrashy sound) The Graveyard.

Relentless. Metal at its best. Don't Care it's all tongue in cheek. Best song on Abigail II.
+Richard RJ Blackmore Damn straight!

Mike Wead's solo at 2:55 , one of my all time favorites!

does this album tell a story like them
I'm A Girl And A 90's Kid And I LOVE King Diamond! :)
I'm a guy and I was born in the early 90's. What's the difference? There is no difference between gender, or age.
@noobster504 not my kinda music.
I'm saying that your gender and age doesn't matter, when it comes to listening to a band.
Whats a crypt?
This was no more "the clean revenge" I dont understand
"Instrumental" ? Why? ._.
do you think that someone here cares about that
Last good Diamond album. After this I saw (heard) no creativity from this band.
Alonso de Hojeda what about the puppet master? came out 1 year after this, i absolutely love it. Not really as technical but great nonetheless
