I know I always thought it would make a excellent horror movie as well. I've been a huge fan of King Diamond and Mercyful Fate since I was a teenager and now come November 4th in Cincinnati, I will get to finally see Mercyful Fate perform live for the first time since the mid to late 90's. It makes me through the moon because this will also mark my very first time ever seeing King Diamond or Mercyful Fate play live!! Mercyful Fate as a band and King Diamond with his singing has been a inspiration to me and a outlet that has got me through some rough patches in my lifetime. Sorry for rambling a bit there and again thank you for the excellent work!!

Agreed but it's incredibly hard to pin point his best. From Fatal Portrait all the way through to The Eye, they're all incredible. Sad thing is The Eye may be his most underrated album because it's so outside the box when it comes to his usual formula; and that's its strength because that's what sets it apart. For me it's The Eye for obvious reasons stated, but as for an album with all of the usual King Diamond Strengths..., good luck; they're all amazing.
This is just fantastic. I always love it. My favorite rendition is the live show so far, but this is a very close second. Someday, someone needs to make this epic into a movie. My money's on Robert Eggers.
I am so glad I am going to see King Diamond and Mercyful Fate on hallows eve this month now. (edit) I heard about King Diamond since I was 5 years old when my dad showed me when I asked this song that he was playing on his stereo in the living room and he said it was Abigail and when I was 8 years old, he bought me the double disk of Abigail and Abigail II with the lyric list of each song and showed me how it was basically a story and I have told my friends about it and they loved it! Abigail was my first song I heard from King Diamond and since I have been obsessed with King Diamond and Mercyful Fate (well my first and favorite song by Mercyful Fate was Evil but we're talking about King Diamond and Abigail right now)
@@RuthlessMetalYT It was the best day of my life (But I was a little bit disappointed that King Diamond didn't play Halloween, but I guess it was still a Mercyful Fate concert) I also want to quickly ask, can you make a video on Them?

I didn't think that it would be any good, and strangely enough I made it to Deadly Omens, and then had to comment on this video with some praise. It was great. I can understand it taking a long time. If you should decide to undertake the project, I bid you all the luck. I grew up on King & MF.
@@RuthlessMetalYT yes and no ;) First of all kudos for great work, secondly - OMG I love this album so I would be glad if more videos like this one emerge, so did you ever consider using AI to complete the animation?
@@slavden hehe, no. maybe that's a good idea though. if I can find some site that lets me use it for free. :D
Fuck it, I'll do it myself!
How beautiful! What a work of art! What a master piece!!!
🤘
A Halloween gift from the ethereal realm🤘🏼🎃 Hails to the King! Awesome upload 💎✨
Thank you, Cheers!
great job. this album is one of my favorites
thanks, the album is so good!
Es un disco perfecto y esta animación un homenaje bien logrado, congratulations
Hail family ghost
thank you. 🎃
This just popped up in my feed and I must say that this pleases me to no end that someone made this album into a animated video.
Thank you Sir!
My All Time FAVORITE King Diamond album!
Same here. One of the absolute best.
The Black Horseman is song perfection! Perfect ending to a lovely lullaby 🤘🏻
cheers
Cool man thank you, back in the day when it was released I'd get high and put on the headphones 🎧 and listen to it over and over 🤘💣💥☠
Yes it never gets old
I saw this live at some club outside Philly in 87 or 88
And I still listen to it. Once a metal head always a metal head.
nice, yeah its an album you cant grow tired of. :) cheers!
King Diamond, mestre do peso, senhor do macabro... Abigail já é clássico do Metal!!!

There are no words for this album, it flirts with perfection❤️❤️🤘
Yes, it won't get better than this.
I remember when this first came out and never get tired of it...absolute classic
yeah, this album is perfection. Cheers!
AMAZING ALBUM, MAGIC ‼️‼️‼️‼️
cheers!
What a treat! This just dropped, I read the title and read it again and here I am. The King was a teller of storytelling in music. I always considered Abigail my favorite. Kudos for the wonderful job, And giving me the perfect close to my b-day.
Thank you Sir and happy birthday! :) Cheers!
What a great video and album! Thanks for doing this!!
Thank you, Cheers!
Thanks for doing such a great animations to the album 🔥
Mercyful Fate tour starts here in Dallas on Tuesday and we are going to be there!!! King rules!!!!....You do too Jim!!
Thank you, have fun!
I’ll be there as well. I’m so excited.
Great classic stuff 🤘
Cheers
excellent work with the edition of this video, the best work of king diamond, my thanks for such a tremendous job.
Thank you!
Man, this is amazing! I've only heard a few songs from King Diamond but this has made me want to look into them more after listening. Great work on the animation! It was amazing all the way through 👏🏼
Abigail is probably my favourite record of all time. It's absolutely magnificent. Thank you Sir!
Please listen to King Diamond - The Eye ( full album ).
Damn.... You're a master of your art 🎭🎭🎭
thanks.
For me it's The Eye for obvious reasons stated, but as for an album with all of the usual King Diamond Strengths..., good luck; they're all amazing.
cheers
Кинг даймонд 1 на планете Земля, неповторимый образ, стиль, гений образа и музыки
Cheers!
This is just fantastic. I always love it. My favorite rendition is the live show so far, but this is a very close second. Someday, someone needs to make this epic into a movie. My money's on Robert Eggers.
They would probably ruin the story. :)
@@RuthlessMetalYT not Robert Eggers, he is a stickler for detail,. but ya, adaptations are very hit and miss.
Freakin love it! Introducing my 14 yr old right now.
scary :)
Some really good stuff. I enjoy the fact a story board was made to go with the album.
Thank you
I am so glad I am going to see King Diamond and Mercyful Fate on hallows eve this month now.
Abigail was my first song I heard from King Diamond and since I have been obsessed with King Diamond and Mercyful Fate (well my first and favorite song by Mercyful Fate was Evil but we're talking about King Diamond and Abigail right now)
Nice, have fun! :)
@@RuthlessMetalYT It was the best day of my life (But I was a little bit disappointed that King Diamond didn't play Halloween, but I guess it was still a Mercyful Fate concert) I also want to quickly ask, can you make a video on Them?
This actually brought tears to my eyes. It's perfect. It enhances the listening experience to an already flawless album and the visuals give me absolute chill.
Thank you so much for this gift!
ah, thanks man! glad you liked it.
I bought this LP. When I was 15 on vinal I just turned 50 less than a week ago 35 years later it's still my favorite album from The King with Them being my close second favorite album hard to believe that it's been 35 years seems like yesterday almost such a timeless album
Yes, it's my favourite too, excellent stuff. Cheers!
Wow!!! You were 15 when you got this on Vinyl? Fuck yeah!
I have been a fan since I saw Family Ghost on Headbangers Ball in the 80s. This story never gets old and you just turned it up a notch with the artwork. Thank you!!!
Cheers!
ШЕДЕВР!!!
cheers
Hey Ruthless Metal, thanks for doing the fan art and animation to Abigail! It captures the mood and gives it depth, and now I can read the words I could never understand before.😉 One of my top 5 all time metal albums.
hehe, thanks. glad you liked it. :)
Andy's solo on 7th Day Of July 1777 is so good !!!
Cheers! 🤘
This album is a killer classic, absolutely perfect in every way. I've been a Mercyful Fate and King Diamond fanatic since around the time of the "Fatal Portrait" album. I've seen every tour since. I was just at the Gary IN Mercyful Fate show this last October 2022 as well. Totally awesome.
I bet it was, I'm so jealous. Cheers!
i love this so much!!!!!!!
Thank u
This was really good and well done. A great album and story brought to life. One of the best ones to come out from the band. I saw the tour and was awesome to say the least.
thank you! Cheers
Dobra robota.🤘
