Thanks for all the info. My friends ask me why I’m not building like everyone else. They say I’m building wrong and refer me to certain RUclipsrs. we screenshot each others damage at the end of boss fights and they wonder how I’m doing more damage. I just tell them don’t worry about itlol
it’s a good day when Dod uploads, especially teaching us more ways to melt these bosses faster!
Bro, you give the best description of how to do it in this game 💯💪🏿
Thank you, good info, I didn't know element couldn't weakspot!
Love this video and i would like to expand on this conversation. I’ve recently just started getting into number crunching into figuring out what is the best bang for your buck and i wanted to point out how unlike pokemon, or you could say similar depends on how you look at it, there isn’t just elemental damage but there is, weapon type damage(crush, pierce, burst) which can offer a 10% damage bonus, but doesn’t increase or decrease damage if weak in the matchup. I wonder when this damage is applied as right now it’s negligible, as the base stats of the weapons are so far apart that 10% increase doesn’t make up for the weapon gaps between #1 and #2 weapons, also it is another layer of damage calculation, since not only do the factions have different element weakness, but damage type weakness. Also as you get further into building a weapon, you run out of certain stats to equip, such as firearm attack modules. This is when many min maxers add a maxed out elemental mod as it ADDS 30% of your base firearm attack as elemental damage, which you can easily switch out, since as of now all tile sets are the same weakness amongst all mobs. Maxed out rifle reinforcement for general rounds offers 32% firearm attack at the cost of 16 mod space, while elemental maxed out offers 30%, plus an elemental bonus. Now most likely the elemental priority mods are not worth it, but i really want to see someone delve into those mods specifically. Now for the tamer, I want to argue that you do build crit damage on the tamer but not crit chance( Also I know it’s nowhere near the best weapon). When you analyze the tamer, it is a weapon with base 10% crit rate, very high fire rate, 1.6x crit damage multiplier, 1x weak point multiplier, high reload time, high base damage. When building weapons i would say based on how much mods you are able to put on, certain stats take priority. Based on the tamer stats, you want to prioritize in this order: firearm attack, fire rate, crit damage, magazine size(assuming you are building mental focus and you are fighting content that requires ample damage output, this would be in front of crit damage). The generous round crit damage modules, specifically concentration priority gives 120% crit damage, which combined with a 1.6x crit multiplier, you go all the way up to 3.52 with a singular module. I feel a factor not put into the equation when talking about crit chance and crit damage is fire rate plays just as equal a part as those two values. If crit chance and crit dmg is high at base, crit is a no brainer, regardless of fire rate, but when you pair a 10% with a good multiplier, a huge magazine count, and fast fire rate, building crit becomes viable, it’s the same reason why optimal freyna builds build lots of crit damage, but no crit chance(except multipurpose modules such as front line), you get to a point where your crits are equivalent to 3 or even 4 shots in 1. Now if there was no limit to damage mods, then i would agree, but you can only equip so many different category damage mods before you have to dip into other ways to indirectly increase dps, like reload speed and mag size
do you have a video for your python setup?
These tips are super effective!
Excellent info as always Dod. For pre-endgame Colossus fights I've been trying to get the element resistance as close to the recommendation as possible and use weapons with element damage the Colossus is susceptible to with varying degrees of success. I've found I progress much further on solo attempts once I figure things out than I do in a group. Do you have any recommendations for first time Colossus encounters prior to reaching endgame, or am I trying to make it more complicated than it needs to be? Currently gated by Devourer with a level 33 Gley and level 52 weapons.
Pro tips as always.
Where can I see your Python build sir?
Tamer is bugged with Valby. Her mod that buffs skill crit rate also buffs weapons. Tamer specifically with this Valby build is 3x final crit chance. So you are semi wrong with the Tamer hate
Im not saying tamer is good or bad, but Supply Moisture scales EVERY weapon's crit chance(yes at different multipliers), 50% crit chance is nice dont get me wrong, but every weapon gets a boost from valby with this mod.
(because different weapons get different multipliers I dont think the skill mod is bugged, I just dont think they put it in the description of the mod)
My point is if you gave 50% crit to beam rifles which generally have 1% base crit, yes its going to be way better with the 50% crit then without, getting 50% crit on tamer is better then not having 50% crit, but it still doesnt change the weapons scaling, it helps it because now you can invest into crit damage, but crit weapons will generally do it better.
its simpler to do this and how ive been building
mod for a boss
build for across the board stable reliable dmg
Would it be worth leaving a slot un modded just to switch between the different ele mods just for bosses? or should you upgrade that last slot and to just have a overall better gun?
Im going to assume to just not worry about elemental damage, unless you have things to increase its damage like python(for poison like you said) or valby (since her puddles lower non and electic damage by 20%)
I see u have ultimate gley
Vigorously 😅😅
Would Poison/Toxic sub stat be necessary for Fallen Hope to try and self proc its unique ability?
Yes, that or the toxic enhancement module
Yep, or Toxic Mod. Or Freyna.
its that 1.8m using Gley inf ammo?
Also whats WEP?
No. 1.8 Mil for every character.
Python
Is lethal finish a good mod to run ? Or is sweeping better ?
it depends on weapon, content etc. i personally use sweeping, because of the cooldown on lethal but its personal pref imo
Sweeping is better for Add clear. Scales both the weapon and the ability.
I am still trying to figure out Lethal Finish.
I wouldn't say that being Bunny on a Hard Executioner is an "asshole".
1. Guns exist that can make up for not doing as much with her electric skills.
2. If Ultimate Bunny with High-Voltage, one can sub 5 min Hard Executioner with pure Bunny Skills and not even using a gun, despite it having Very High RES against Electric. Yes, it isn't a sub 1 min run, as it is resistant to it, but that shows that the damage works quite well still when built up. Of course, because of the Elec RES, one should be using their weapon on top of that to get the kill even faster, but that's more just to prove a point.
3. Hard Executioner is really easy, even with complete randoms as it really doesn't have any life threatening mechanics. If the Bunny from point 2 had used say even a single shot from a Blue Beetle after it finished being Frenzied, it could remove the huge DEF buff it gained, allowing a sub 3 min run on essentially pure abilities (yes you could also use Absolute Curse on Bunny herself, but that would remove much needed other mods....).
No one should be considered an a detriment to a party unless they didn't build up their character at all and say went into it without knowing the mechanics or especially their own character.
But every character, thankfully, in this game can do amazingly well because "guns" exist and you can mod those just like your character.
You can even set up a simple Epic rarity Assassin's Edge hand cannon to deal 260k crit weakpoint shots with over 50% Crit Chance on Hard Mode bosses (on Normal, it would do 400k+). That alone can make anyone good (so it's not just things like unga bunga Tamer usage).
Please don't spread needless bias and hate for no reason.
It is fine to lambast actual bad players.
But don't think someone's bad just because of the character they're using (that's essentially judging at first sight based on appearance.... a little like racism....).
why is everything red as fuck ;D
as to guns with elemental mods let me get this straight instead of maxing my elemental enhancements per collosus which will doe extra 30% bullet damage as weak damage for said colosus which is 2.2 right? you do not recomend it? or you do not recomend building just one elemental enhancement in the gun. Because my thunder cage for example has maxed fire toxic or electric setups and no boss completely resists one of those it will be at least normal and mostly someone will be weak to it. is it still lower dps choice than adding critical hit damage? since thunder cage for smg has big 2x crit. would you rather take weak point dmg in thunder cage instead of elemental enhancement?
colorblind filter i guess
I am Colour blind to fuck. Sorry.
why you keep telling me not to die? you not my dad... even if you was, i still wouldn't listen to you!.... but i will listen to you about elemental damage calculations cause this man is a genius!... also tamer is trash, stop trying to make tamer meta, it's not meta!..... although i hope tamer does get nurfed, just means that the actual top tier weapons will escape untouched.
Tamer is meta for those who haven't played a lot or haven't already gotten to min/maxed builds. Once you get a build far along enough, it's pretty obvious Tamer starts to fall off
@@Harmonic14 100% agree, its good.... its not amazing, its like mid game good
Dod sorry you’re either using the tamer wrong or not understanding. The tamer for one does not use crits take that out of the equation if you’re building it that way stop using it because you can’t use it is why you hate it and think it’s rubbish. Not that I play anymore because I can’t handle this community way to toxic let’s just hate on all bunny we see because they didn’t grind as much or pay as much
lol
I never said any of this.
I said not to use it as a crit build as the most you will get is about 13.6% CHC.
I also said you can't use it as a weak point build as it's base is a 1 X.
All this leaves you is mag size, Element and Fire rate.
End Result = bad weapon.
normally i would ignore the cry "wah wah everyone hates bunny for no reason wah wah" but i try to explain it, bunny is only for trash killing, and zoom zoom, anything other than that she sucks, people go into bossfights with a 4k hp bunny, speced into damage all the way but dont realize they dont do any damage or have like 0 uptime on damage becuase of the arena or boss resistance to electr, damage, they dont even use weapons they just run incircles doing nothing, they kill teammates with barrels all the time, cant kill any elites without going down, they eat revives like crazy and the most important part is they make the game insanely boring for others, but yes everyone hates on bunny for no reason. that has nothing to do with grind, money or whatever you just said. play a shitty frame that does nothing for your team and makes the game max boring for others an sure you will get "hate" sometime but you have to take it. if you dont think about what your frame does for/to the team you are just someone who wants to play with others because reasons but you dont care about others but yourself. sorry for my bad engl but feel free to correct me if you want to=)
@@DodRegnbue bad weapon for absolute end game with fully maxed builds? Sure. Bad weapon for the average player grinding through the game trying to get there? Absolutely not.
@@Harmonic14 Due to Thunder Cage coming with 2 in built Crystal, that pretty much beats it at every turn.
You can get a higher scaling build more effectively.
At no point have I managed to get Tamer to match Thunder Cage, Python, or Master Piece. It just isn;t possible.
