having recently drilled one, my design required m8 coach bolts so drilled a 10mm hole with a bosch hss drill bit from toolstation. If drilling while the beam is in ceiling, i used a ratchet strap around the drill/beam to put pressure when drilling. It worked a treat. Takes about 30 seconds per hole. I only needed to do 7 so used this instead of getting a mag drill
