The 2021 Audi Q7 Is Affordable Luxury

- This week I'm driving what I consider 'affordable luxury'... the Premium trim 2021 Audi Q7 45 TFSI! Despite its 4 cylinder engine and semi-reasonable mid $50k starting price, it's still bread from the same roots as the Bentley Bentayga!! Yes, yes, I'm being ridiculous, but I think that's the main selling point of any Q7 in the $55k-$70k range, it's an entry point into the VAG (Volkswagen Group) lineup of legit luxury SUV's.
These ain't no Tiguan, Q5, or Macan... ok well the Macan is actually pretty sweet, but you get what I'm saying. The Q7 also now comes in an SQ7, helping its rep against the likes of in-family competition like the V8 Bentayga and Cayenne S... etc etc.
I was impressed by how smooth, quiet, and luxurious the ride was, but even more impressed by the refreshed interior with the latest Audi tech! It works better in the spacious flagship SUV than in a Q3.
All in all, an enjoyable family hauler that punches above its weight in both the sensations of luxury and more importantly in its interior space! Check the video out!!

You have to upgrade to Prestige trim if you want to have air suspension. Thats a lot upgrade to your tested model.
You can actually option it onto the 55 TFSI P+... but yes, still a bit more than a Premium 45

The information I need presented in a no-nonsense, no gimmick manner. I’ve subscribed. I have a Q8 and have ppf’d the centre console to avoid scratches and have protectors on the screens. Cost me not a lot and won’t scratch or scuff. Here in Australia we only seem to get the matt black buttons but then Audi sell only packages not trim levels.

Another fair and professional assessment: most of all you are plain interesting to listen to! You always keep my attention! Wish I was in Cali - I’d be pushing on you to do some kind of RUclipsr auto meet up with your subs. You are a natural at presenting man I’m voting for you to take over Jimmy Kimmels show because he is stepping down soon. That would be awesome! Okay the Q7 is a sedate German hauler that will make a nice lease for an accountant hahaha. It’s not bad, but 4-cylinders in SUV’s turn me off. I’d rather have an Audi E-Tron over this if I needed to make trips to Costo for a barrel of Mayo! Hahaha- Thanks for bringing us this Q7, Reo!
Hahahaha hilarious comment as always 😅 I'm with you on the 4 cylinders and E-Tron... I'd even take the E-Tron over a 6 cylinder Q7, but not over the SQ7! The standard Q7 is certainly sedate

interesting that it’s a budget bentayga... is the cayenne also the same?
I feel like the Cayenne is more distinctly its own entity, one of, if not the original sporty SUV... the Q7 focuses more of space and comfort - at a much more attainable price than say a Bentayga. (While sharing the same platform)
