    Very good video. You could also say that aw nam changes the low class consonants (that produce the actual sound) to a mid class consonant, and haw nam changes them to high class consonant, with the corresponding tone rules.

    Very helpful handholding. Thanks. Thai has a really complex orthography. Speaks for the nobility of the Thai soul, they were always independent as a people, never colonised. Wow!
