the content of your videos is really good จริงๆดี. Please keep up the good work. Some teachers have more modern tools but their content is not nearly as useful. What would help even further is to help us to build sentences using the words. And if you did that it would be hard for others to compete wit you.

Anyways, Thank you so much, kruu! You literally made this lesson episode so easy to understand and yes, this literally helped me understand more words with unwritten ะ considering its rule and i really can't wait to write this on, to write this part on my Thai Learning Booklet No. 3. Yeeyyyyy, Thank you for once more, Kruu especially for like sharing so much wisdom regarding Thai Language more specifically to people like us who are so willing to learn this tonal language of yours. God bless you Kruu and Long live! ❤

Thank you for your excellent lesson on inherent ะ vowel. I have 3 questions if you don’t mind:
    1. Is it true there can never be a tone mark, on cluster that evoke a inherent ะ vowel?
    2. If I have understood correctly the 2nd consonant follows the tone rule of the first only if the 2nd consonant is a low class sonorant consonant? So if the 2nd consonant is High, middle consonant or dead low class consonant, then they set their rule ie นคร na ( high tone) korn (mid tone)
    3. What are the rules logic for linking syllables like ผลไม้ were ล is n in pon then L in la for pon la Mai
How can I understand these words with linking syllables. Thanks in advance

      1. We have words of hidden ะ that have tone mark. Example สว่าง , ฝรั่ง
      2. Yes. You are correct.
      3. We will only know after we learn and memorize.

In regards to your third question, the ending sound is the pronunciation of a syllable-final ล (n) and the consonant beginning the next syllable is the sound of an initial ล (l), just imagine the ล is doubled and the first one ends the syllable with its final pronunciation and the second one gives its initial pronunciation: pholamai → phollamai → phol-la-mai → phon-la-mai

I like to remember the pronunciation using ห..
    ตลาด = ตะ-หลาด
I think it's what they use in some dictionaries

KruWadee, thank you so much for your lessons. I think I am gonna understand parts of the problem when do we read an A or when we do we read an O.
But my question - which rule works on words like ผม - ฝน - ตก - สด - ฝน?
These are high and middle class consonants following low and middle class consonants - is that an other kind of rule?
    ผมงงจริงๆ

I would be grateful if you can clarify how to make a difference between an initial consonant iwth a hidden "a" with a consonant which is part of a cluster.

ผลีต in persian is an adj to describe a behavior as unacceptable.(extra info😅)

  • @cleavelandrugreanrob4034

So put simply, the hidden “ะ” rule can only be used when:
A high class consonant is in front of a low consonant.
    ยังเช่น (example) : “ฉลาด”. Clever
“ฉ” เป็นอักสอนสูง (high class) is in front of “ล” which is low class so the hidden “ะ” rule is applied
And when middle class consonant is in front of low class consonant the rule also applies too
    ยังเช่นตอนอักษรกลางอยู่ข้างน่าอักษรต่ํา
Example from your video: คํา “ตลาด” meaning market
ต is middle class and ล is low class therefore the ruler applies.
Is that all there is to it?
Also another question going a little bit off topic, when it comes to letters that sound the exact same, how do you know which one to use, example
    คํา คุณ Meaning: You
Why can we not use “น” เพราะว่าเสียง “น” เเละเสียง “ณ” sound the exact same so do you a special technique or method of which one to use, or is it wise to make a guess?
