Not since a mysterious dude called Proxicide made Ryu vs Scorpion and Akuma vs Kameleon on Newgrounds back in the day have I seen such good battle flow and choreography using sprite animation. Many tried but never quite felt there until I stumbled across your stuff. You've got that "thing", whatever it is. 👌🏾
Looking at all the comments regarding DEATH BATTLE's variant here, I do agree to some extent which is a shame because the episode did seem pretty unfinished Though that aside, really loved your animation here. The effects looked really good, the animation was ridiculously smooth and the sound design was pretty good, well done with this one

Akuma can destroy a meteor, in the asura’s wraith game he was introduced and in his final form was giving asura a run for his money, non of mk characters had destroyed a planet doubt that shao khan did, but if people say well shao khan was facing raiden an elder god, yeah, but that elder god was getting slammed by humans, while akuma is facing a strong deity who was putting more then a fight, and akuma was destroying the moon.
This is better than death battle's akuma vs shao kahn becuse in my openion 2d is better than 3d! Also the animations is just Beautiful and high quality!
It's debatable forsure, but Shao Kahn is pretty powerful himself. The problem is that I feel the MK franchise doesn't truly do Shao Kahn justice half the time with how powerful he actually is. At least the Shao Kahn prior to the reboot they have going on rn.
Now, that is a true Death Battle. That was great, and way better than Death Battle’s match. I knew Akuma can defeat Shao Kahn. You should do Cammy vs Sonya spite battle, too.
