I like how mmx2 is the only one with upbeat hopeful music. All the other ones are about death and genocide but x2 has you feeling temporary hope.

Honestly you are speaking of MMX3. Yes that game has darker music but none of them have a "death" soundtrack, Unless you mean death metal there are quite a few that come close to it.
