my personal favorite shampoo and conditioner is Maui. They have nice scents and my hair feels amazing afterwards. They have it for dry hair, oily hair, damaged hair etc. edit~ yall I wrote this 2 weeks ago when I was a new Maui user. After using it a while-ish it did itch/dry out my hair! ⚠️use at own risk⚠️

I only use lush hair products and it made a huge difference for me. All I use in my hair is shampoo and conditioner, that’s it! It’s always soft, shiny & smelling good! Hair falling has reduced SIGNIFICANTLY too!
For the curious cats out there I use the “candy rain” conditioner and the shampoo bar (I’ve tried 80% of the shampoo bars they have and they’ve all 10/10 tbh) Edit: “glory” conditioner is also AMAZING!!! It smells so good! It’s designed for Afro hair but it works wonders for me. For reference, I have a lot of hair but thin strands and slightly curly.

Double cleansing is okay with your skin but not your hair. It will dry the hair out making it break off. If her hair is too oily she needs to wash more often during the week & use products outside of the shower for oil control.
I started using the into the night conditioner (not the shampoo) around November and my hair honestly felt healthier. I finished that bottle and have been using the Japanese cherry blossom shampoo and conditioner and I honestly don’t really have any complaints. I have dry scalp/ hair from being on accutane a while ago so I haven’t noticed any excessive oiliness. I also have curly hair but straighten it so I do use a lot of other products in my hair to keep it healthy (leave in conditioner, heat protectant, hair oil) so that could be why I haven’t seen any negatives

If you're still wanting to get this, just get the conditioner and use it like a hair perfume. Do your normal wash and conditioner with your regular product that works for your hair type. After that, just run some of the perfumed conditioner through your hair to scent it. I used to do this with the rose hair essence conditioner.

Made mt friends hair fall out after a month of using it ! The heavy fragrances also give you dandruff and head bumps : itchy scalp if you’re sensitive! Also stay away from this if you have ACNE or are prone to ACNE ! BACK ANCE TOO ! Don’t ask how I know 🥴

luseta is the best hair brand i’ve ever used and they’re so slept on. i find 16.9 oz bottles of shampoo and conditioner for $20 altogether at tj maxx. highly recommend
It works just fine, it’s more for the smell than anything, but it works best when you don’t was your hair every day. Maybe that works for your hair, but my hair doesn’t do well washing everyday so I haven’t seen these issues
i have the champagne toast set and another hydrating set from joico. i shampoo my hair every 2-3 days and will alternate between both sets during wash day and haven’t had any damaging or over oily hair.
A semi solution is to use the shampoo, and then instead of using the matching conditioner you can get a non scented conditioner that you trust. So you have the scent but your hair doesn't suffer.
I personally dont like the shampoo, i use dove. But their conditioner is really nice and i think makes my hair more fluffy and soft. The scent definetly lasts a long time but like she said my hair gets oily within a day or two which is about 1 day before it normally gets oily so its not much of a problem. I dont have straight hair i have wavy thick hair and this definetly helps the hair bounce up and curl a little bit more than some. Overall you should definetly atleast try the conditioner.

I use A Thousand Wishes everything. Body lotion, bath wash, shampoo etc. That and their peony perfume is my signature combination. I tried tresseme, herbal essences, old spice fiji scent, head and shoulders, you name it. The only contender for keeping my hair healthy with how much I dye it without causing immense dandruff hland breaking has been old spixe 2n1 with tresseme conditioner - And I still would get bad bouts of dandruff and occasional breakage. I have gotten way less breakage using Bath and Bodyworks than all other options for my own hair, granted I don't heat treat my hair everyone has their own preferences.

just want to make sure you arent putting the shampoo on anything but the scalp!! the ends if your hair should not be getting shampooed, it gets all the shampoo it needs while rinsing it out. no conditioner on your scalp either! your scalp is full of natural oils which is why your hair gets oily, which is why shampoo makes your hair dryer and conditioner makes it more smooth, which is why you dont use conditioner on your scalp and shampoo on your hair, dont forget to shampoo first as well. you know when your hair gets crunchy why at the beach and the too isnt? it’s because the oils keep the hair from drying up, yet the oils dont go all the way to the ends of your hair. lastly, dont forget that you’re not supposed to wash your hair everyday!!!! love you all!

Theres nothing stopping anyone from comboing and mixing your shampoos and conditioners to match what you need for your haair. Fragrance can be very drying for the hair so compensate for that

I bought it the day it released. My husband, my daughter and I all have wildly different hair textures, lengths, and "problems". We decided to use these. - Now idk what it is about my husband but this man can use a $120 shampoo and conditioner or a 10 in 1 $2 shampoo & conditioner and his hair is perfection so literally he just doesnt count....😅 - now my daughter has VERY long VERY thick (headache inducing thick) wavy hair that is dry at the ends and oily at the scalp. She hated it with a passion. I begged her to use it 3x and she only used it 2x. It made her hair dry as can be. The scent didnt last on her at all (which was the only reason she even tried it) & it made her hairline by her neck itchy and red. My husband and daughter both have very sensitive skin. It also gave her frizzy hair hours after the shower. 😳 - I have VERY curly, newly fine (i got sick and my hair started thining) shoulder length hair. I used it 5x. The scent was gone the moment the microfiber hair towel came out. It didnt do anything bad but it did nothing for me either. All in all, its a hard no for the 3 (2) of us 😅
I use the conditioner but not the shampoo since I have to use dandruff shampoo. It is THE BEST conditioner I have ever used. I have the Champagne Toast scent and I have the beachy scented on for summer. They are AMAZING.
It may work better on different hair types! I thought about trying it but can’t justify the purchase since my current brand works good for my hair type.

Okay so i only use the conditioner because i used my free item coupon on it. I liked it more than i thought. I only use it on my ends and its working as well as your average conditioner, on the thicker side. The scent sticks in your hair all day though so thats a plus. I have super fine hair so my breakage is probably due to daily washing and lack of care. Great review though. Ill look out for oiliness as I continue to use it.
I used to use their shampoo back in early 2000s peony was my favorite they had conditioner too and I had long hair then, anyway the scent lasted forever and kept my constantly dyed hair very healthy and I had no complaints tbh.

Double cleanse with your shampoo , first cleanse is too remove the dirt and oil second cleanse is to ensure a longer time without oily scalp and only condition the ends of hair
I only use bath and body works for it's scent. I use other shampoos for cleaning, but bath and body works is NOT something I'd ever use to clean anything. It simply smells good.
I use the BYREDO shampoo and conditioner, sometimes the Lernberger Stafsing (a pretty small Swedish brand) and my hair is really thick, voluminous,silky,healthy and overall great, it does have quite a lot with my genes since my grandma has amazing hair but I overall really like these products! I have some shampoo and conditioner from there and I loved it!! It worked so well on my hair it made my hair look super shiny! It never look oily in my hair. But I have naturally wavy hair so different hair types might take the products better! I got so many compliments on my hair smelling good!!👍
I've been using this stuff since Christmas cause my boyfriend's mom got me it and honestly. If you use it right. I haven't had any problems. I shampoo once a week If not, every other week If i'm lazy and I condition any time I take a shower I Comb the conditioner through my hair. So it's not knoted when I'm getting out of the shower and I like it. And she's right the smell last so long idk it'd good to me 😂
I will always pick quality over a scent of a product. If you can proper salon quality products your hair will last way longer then those cheap one. It’s also good if you like to change your hair colour as you could cause a chemical reaction with the hair dye. I’ve literally seen a little girls hair smoke bc she lied about what products she was using.
It's because the stuff that makes it smell good is very drying thats why if you have dry skin, eczema or psoriasis you never use scented lotion. I imagine it do the same to your hair
I was waiting for these to come to my local bath and body works, and when they finally do they only have the shampoo. It worked really well for me though.
I will say i work here and they gave us some for our gratis and all the girls were scared to use it 😅. I finally caved for experimental purposes and i was pleasantly suprised! I have naturally curly/dry hair, and i noticed a much bouncier, curlier curl in my hair! As well as a softer feel and nicer scent than my regular shampoo/conditioner! Maybe give it a try ❤ you can always return it if it isnt for you ❤

Suggestion that worked for me but I used SDJ (sol de janerio) just put some perfume of the sent you desire into the shampoo and conditioner it works greatttt
I could only get the beach in conditioner for their annual sale last time. If you use it like normal (from the nape of the neck to the tip as it's just conditioner) it's fine.
I bought it the day it released.
My husband, my daughter and I all have wildly different hair textures, lengths, and "problems". We decided to use these.
- Now idk what it is about my husband but this man can use a $120 shampoo and conditioner or a 10 in 1 $2 shampoo & conditioner and his hair is perfection so literally he just doesnt count....😅
- now my daughter has VERY long VERY thick (headache inducing thick) wavy hair that is dry at the ends and oily at the scalp. She hated it with a passion. I begged her to use it 3x and she only used it 2x. It made her hair dry as can be. The scent didnt last on her at all (which was the only reason she even tried it) & it made her hairline by her neck itchy and red. My husband and daughter both have very sensitive skin. It also gave her frizzy hair hours after the shower. 😳
- I have VERY curly, newly fine (i got sick and my hair started thining) shoulder length hair. I used it 5x. The scent was gone the moment the microfiber hair towel came out. It didnt do anything bad but it did nothing for me either.
All in all, its a hard no for the 3 (2) of us 😅
I use the conditioner but not the shampoo since I have to use dandruff shampoo. It is THE BEST conditioner I have ever used. I have the Champagne Toast scent and I have the beachy scented on for summer. They are AMAZING.
It may work better on different hair types! I thought about trying it but can’t justify the purchase since my current brand works good for my hair type.

Okay so i only use the conditioner because i used my free item coupon on it. I liked it more than i thought. I only use it on my ends and its working as well as your average conditioner, on the thicker side. The scent sticks in your hair all day though so thats a plus. I have super fine hair so my breakage is probably due to daily washing and lack of care.
Great review though. Ill look out for oiliness as I continue to use it.

I used to use their shampoo back in early 2000s peony was my favorite they had conditioner too and I had long hair then, anyway the scent lasted forever and kept my constantly dyed hair very healthy and I had no complaints tbh.

Another thing to do is spray that scent in a bottle with a bit of leave in conditioner unscented with a bit of water works perfectly fine
Double cleanse with your shampoo , first cleanse is too remove the dirt and oil second cleanse is to ensure a longer time without oily scalp and only condition the ends of hair
Try to add a oil in the shampoo/ hair mask ( if you really want to use it on you’re hair ) so there’s not Much breakage
Yeah this is one of those products you’d use as scent to mix in with good stuff 😅
I only use bath and body works for it's scent. I use other shampoos for cleaning, but bath and body works is NOT something I'd ever use to clean anything. It simply smells good.
You could always mix a little bit of the bath and body into your regular shampoo for the scent
Would it be find to just use the conditioner? I want my hair to smell good but i use a certain shampoo I really like.
that’s what i do, i use my normal shampoo and conditioner and then use champagne toast conditioner for the smell

I use the BYREDO shampoo and conditioner, sometimes the Lernberger Stafsing (a pretty small Swedish brand) and my hair is really thick, voluminous,silky,healthy and overall great, it does have quite a lot with my genes since my grandma has amazing hair but I overall really like these products! BYREDO is quite expensive but I really like them anyways>>> my friend uses the Maria Nila one and is very happy with those and I think they’re more affordable…
My solution would be to use a normal shampoo, then use the Bath and Body Works shampoo as a scent for work, Significant Other, etc etc.
RECOMMENDATION FOR ANYONE
just get the conditioner and use it after your typical products to get the scent but not as a substitute
If they make a Dark Kiss scented shampoo and conditioner, I'd buy EVERY bottle.
I would recommend it for date night or going out to the club, etc. but not daily use
I use regular shampoo first, and then bath and body works into the night shampoo and conditioner. I have straight hair as well and it usually gets oily quickly, but it got oily even quicker when I was just using the bnbw

as a wavy-curly haired girl, shea moisture moisturizing conditioner + kristen ess clairyfing shampoo + mastercleanse scalp cleanser + amika water sign oil (coconut oil works great if you’re on a budget) = yummy
My mom bought me a bunch of stuff from Bath & Bodyworks before I went away to college but I ended up giving it all away, because the artificial scent gave me headaches. I havent used anything from Bath & Bodyworks since 1993! 😃
I have some shampoo and conditioner from there and I loved it!! It worked so well on my hair it made my hair look super shiny! It never look oily in my hair. But I have naturally wavy hair so different hair types might take the products better! I got so many compliments on my hair smelling good!!👍

I've been using this stuff since Christmas cause my boyfriend's mom got me it and honestly. If you use it right. I haven't had any problems. I shampoo once a week If not, every other week If i'm lazy and I condition any time I take a shower I Comb the conditioner through my hair. So it's not knoted when I'm getting out of the shower and I like it. And she's right the smell last so long idk it'd good to me 😂
I will always pick quality over a scent of a product. If you can proper salon quality products your hair will last way longer then those cheap one. It’s also good if you like to change your hair colour as you could cause a chemical reaction with the hair dye. I’ve literally seen a little girls hair smoke bc she lied about what products she was using.

It's because the stuff that makes it smell good is very drying thats why if you have dry skin, eczema or psoriasis you never use scented lotion. I imagine it do the same to your hair

i have the same one and i think the oily part is just her hair because i’ve never had that issue however my hair is curly so retains differently

I use color shampoo but the cherry blossom conditioner because i have dyed hair and it puts the oil my hair is missing back so they don't feel crispy

I will say i work here and they gave us some for our gratis and all the girls were scared to use it 😅. I finally caved for experimental purposes and i was pleasantly suprised! I have naturally curly/dry hair, and i noticed a much bouncier, curlier curl in my hair! As well as a softer feel and nicer scent than my regular shampoo/conditioner! Maybe give it a try ❤ you can always return it if it isnt for you ❤
