This may not be true but i noticed that every time the door slammed in Bernard's room it was never the one leading into the house it was always the one to the creepy (haunted) basement. Maybe Bernard is trying to tell you guys that there is something bad in the basement like an evil entity, so he keeps shutting the door when it is left open in order to keep it down there and not let it enter the house
But the first one was closed behind them but nice theory
maybe the first slam was an attempt to get the boys’ attention so that they left the basement, otherwise they might have stayed down there longer to investigate? this theory makes a lot of sense after watching the video tbh

I noticed that the door had one of those automatic door closer attached at the top. It might be that if the door is pulled all the way back it stays open but after some time maybe the pulling force exceeds that of which the door closer can handle hence causing it to recoil back which in turn drags the door shut. What do you guys think?

I don't think Bernard's obsession with birds is that strange. Staring out a window your whole life, you would totally come to love birds, so free and beautiful as they fly on the winds of the world. I imagine he imagined/dreamt of being a bird, able to fly around and be free. His life is so sad :(

This is just my opinion but, this was MY MOST favorite collab and video of Sam and Colby EVER.
This is the most scariest episode i have ever watched the jump scares just made my skin crawl But def my fav. Luv yall
Bernard was trying to protect them. He's confined to his room but the door slamming multiple times was to get them to leave completely so the negative energies would have nothing to feed off. The reason that so little people have come there is likely because of that. That protective, sad energy from bernard warding them off. And I don't doubt that one if not all of those energies are connected to the doll. The reason mediums warned people not to touch it is because it would only further provoke the spirits, give them an opportunity to pull off a "Classic scare" for pure, raw, human fear, which would allow them to really kick things off. They got through to mary at first but the malevolent spirits sensed she was talking and were attracted, which is why bernard slammed the door immediately after. To warn Sam, Colby, and Seth. All of this, everything was a ploy to scare them with mary, andrew, and more importantly bernard, who was most likely burdened with the lesser of these spirits to keep him out of the way while their leader influenced andrew trying to fight against and ultimately failing because of just how potent the fear in the house was after years and years of being left alone.

I love watching ghost hunting videos, but this one… this single video has brought me to tears. During the seance I felt an incredible sadness, fear and a constant goosebump feeling, something I’ve never felt before.
I 100% believe in ghosts, not just because of video proofs but also from experiences.

Does anyone else think the owners may have placed the cats in the room to create noise, potentially scaring and tricking those exploring the building into believing it's the spirits? It's odd they never mentioned the cats to Sam and Colby prior to their investigation of the area.
That’s so true, maybe that’s why they didn’t want anyone going in there
They literally thought nobody was going to explore it and that would not explain the closing doors and motion detectors
more likely strays, the house was abandoned for 17 years and it would have been a safe and warm place for them, that was my thought

47:57 when they were communicating with Mary, I feel like the door slamming was a distraction to make them stop talking to Mary so they wouldn’t be able to get her story. Because as soon as they came back to continue they were talking to a whole other spirit/entity. So it’s like the other spirit just took her away 🤷🏽♀️
