ads in menus werent added until 2013, could be wrong but doesnt the ps4 have ads? even with the wifi adapter and a battery pack for the controller the 360 costed less. the multimedia functionality is plentiful, other than the lack of blu-ray. as for the online subscription... lets be real... PSN wasn't great on the PS3... there is a reason it was free.

No the ps3 had more multimedia functions cus you could Just plug in an external hdd, memory stick or sd card and play some video files and you could use RUclips on the browser. Sure it wasn't amazing but back then people were just getting started with smart phones and i sure made use of it cus i didnt have a pc in 2007 lol.

Like all the previously xbox controllers xbones sucks as just as badly (uncomfortable, clunky, feel like cheap plastic and will break really easy). Indie games always come out for other platforms, Pc mandatory. Sunset overdrive will be on pc in 1-2 year.
Most drm is still there and their main selling point: "kinect 2.0" flopped. It took them 8 months to admit defeat before removing that piece of shit from the console bundle. The backside = it's so integrated with the console so now certain functions are useless.

I got sores/blisters from using xbox controllers. It's that bad. Atleast Playstation makes ones you can use without contracting self injuries. The stick placement on xbox controllers are just retarded. It was designed by Neanderthals for chimpanzee. I mean seriously, the shoulder buttons broke after a week and the right stick cracked. Bad design there, I mean it couldn't even handle normal handling without falling to pieces. My PS4 controllers works fine and none of them have broken. I can't say the same for my xbone controllers.
Sony had the decency of improving the hardware and capacity with reasonable prices in comparison to the sub par variants of the 360s that all suffered from RROD until one last variant that came so late so it was too late to heal those wounds.
