Not enough sprinters do that now. I understand the concept of saving energy as you work through the rounds but some athletes take it too far and it can backfire on them when they don't actually get out of the heats due to them slowing down too soon.
I like his style. he uses all his strenght to create power. take a look at how he moves his arms it amazing. I know that it's not a 90 degree angle perfect form but he really push back his arm with 100 percent of his stenght. and of course he's got the feet too with a lot of explosivity (much moore that bromell who hit the ground to soft) and he's got also a high rythm step.
god of speed he will need to, with the likes of Yohan getting back to his best and Wayde Van Niekerk considering the 100 9.91 seconds won't be enough to win.
Athletics Productionz I said he can run 9.7. He ran a 9.75 +2.7 wind, so he's certainly capable of it. Bromell seems to be a lot more efficient with his arm movement than De Grasse.
+god of speed to me Bromell needs stronger legs his technique is amazing but he seems to just stay a certain speed during the middle of a race and doesn't seem to have that top speed of Gatlin's but he'll get there
_.Nonso ._ Perhaps a little bit more strength might be a bonus but it's great that he's managed to get to this speed without spending too much time in the weight room and plus if he gets too big, I think that could hurt him.
Both him and van Niekerk have the ideal frames of natural runners, not roided out body-builders. Their focus is less on excessive force production, but more on efficiency of form, and optimal directing of force. They could be excellent at whatever distance they trained at, and no amount of androgens can give that (although, I'm sure they still use stimulants).
Ideal frame, not form, though, obviously his form isn't half bad either if he's out running other olympians. But, yeah i see what you mean about his arm swing now that you mention it. It does stick out.
I'm a huge fan of Bolt but this guy is awesome too! Really want to see big things from him at London this year. Unique running style and seems like a nice, chill guy. I don't know how much he has a chance of beating the WR but he definitely seems to have what it takes to become the next star. I just think a lot of people underestimate the greatness of Bolt and his records. Just because some high schooler ran a 9.99 doesn't mean he will go sub-9.58 and become the WR holder. That's a huge difference between 9.9's and 9.5's and people who are new at track don't understand that. Anyways, it will be interesting to see what he can do.
It seems like he has shifted his focus more towards the 200 this year judging by his performances so far makes sense considering Bolt won't be doing that but he will still have tough competition.
Yeah, definitely!!! But I do want to see him run the 100 more too. Interesting what he is capable of. Who do you have your eyes on as the next star? DeGrasse, Blake, Niekerk or maybe Bromell?
船越勇貴 I think Blake would have dominated had he not been injured. Bolt's winning times recently haven't been particularly breath taking so I'll say him to take over for the next few years but then outside of that anything is possible America has some big talents coming through!
All sprinters are small. Alyson build is that of someone who is a primarily 200/400 runner. She can run the 100 but that’s not her best race. DeGrasse isn’t built any different than Brommel or Coleman.
Kunal Bain unfortunately most of the stuff they post can't be downloaded via iTunes, but if you have sound cloud or Spotify you can find pretty much all of the songs on there.
One of three(Blake, De Grasse and Van Niekerk) successors to the Speed King Bolt, we shall see after this year when Bolt retires who the new king will be.
boxertest I don't think that there will be just one who becomes the king.. I think there will be rivalry between blake brommel de grasse.. also gatlin will probably still be there after bolt retires

What I really like about him is that he looks like he pushes as much as he can in every race!

Thank you for your support. Glad you like the music I always try and pick songs that I think will go well with the clips.

If de Grasse can bend his arms a bit more when he runs I expect him to run 9.7 next year.
god of speed he will need to, with the likes of Yohan getting back to his best and Wayde Van Niekerk considering the 100 9.91 seconds won't be enough to win.

I don't think Andres form is Ideal. Mainly because of his arm movement

Next bolt
Somebody needs to fill the gap when Bolt retires and I have no issues with it being De Grasse
+Athletic Productionz please.. "sniff", bolt will NEVER retire I luv him 2 much like if u cri everi tim
It will be strange without him. But it will make the 100m and 200m more interesting from a competitive point of view.
He won’t be the next bolt he hasn’t even gone under 9.7 legally and bolt ran 9.58, people through that around too loosely
his arm swing is special
