@@mpup54 😪 you don't really understand, do you? Records are things that allow athleticism to move on, back in the time it was almost impossible to imagine a Man running 200m in 19:90 but years after years it became normal and even weak. Now people are going to run after Bolt's record and someone will break it and another one until it will mean nothing to run 200m in 19:19 or even 19:00. Although, I will admit that Bolt's record might remains longer.
@@mpup54 ...Noah Lyles said he was going to break the 200m World record, but after running some extremely perfect races, and couldn't get past 19.4's he changed his mind, he had no idea how difficult to run 19.19. however Yohan Blake got pretty close without running a perfect corner, apart from Blakes career threatening Ham string Injury, there was an American named Xavier Carter who was on track running some great 200m, but hamstring injuries ended his career, I don't think we will ever see the Blake of the past again, apart from getting older he has a significant psychologically scare transmitted from his leg to the cranium.
I can only imagine what Blake's time would be if he didn't have a crappy start at Brussels when he ran 19.26. With a better start, perhaps 19.20 or maybe under the world record
Rino Watson It's not about going harder on the bend, his bend wasn't excellent by any means but it wasn't the thing that cost him the world record. The amount of time that it took for him to get out of the blocks basically eradicated his chance of breaking the wr which was very realistic with the speed he ran
Rino Watson his drive phase wasn't that good and it was his bad pick up that cost him not to get the world record. I'd say he ran the bend really well and the straight away was spectacular
At first glance, it looks like a poor bend until you realise the guy next to him is also running a ridiculously fast time. I really hope he can get back to where he was people talk about him as if he is just an average athlete now as if they can't remember that he is the closest thing Bolt has to a rival and that without Bolt he would be the fastest man in the world.
In 40 years time, they will show Usain these videos and ask him what went through his mind when he was running these races. Usain, in his 70s then, would probably say: "No matter how far you get ahead of me, I'm gonna catch you...."
@@jsmariani4180 not neccessarily on purpose. people just get tired at the end, you dont have equal energy reserves throughout a sprint, but him looking to his sides at the end of races makes it look like that.
I’m old enough to have witnessed Michael Jordan, Lionel Messi, Roger Federer, Serena Williams and Usain Bolt at the absolute peak of their powers - I feel blessed.
He could well have. He wasn't in the best shape going into that champs but it's Bolt anything is possible. I am expecting something big from him this year I think he will be determined to go out on top and so will train hard and hopefully run quicker than he has in the last few years.
All sprinters know that once you hit your top speed, you try and maintain for as long as possible. Once they pass they threshold trying to go faster will slow you down. Instead they stay as relaxed as possible. And yea bolt has the right to be a little cocky lol
Awesome video!!! Gets you really psyched, great motivation for training. Love all of the races in here. So amazing to think that there are 3 runs faster than Michael Johnson's record because back in the days that time was other-worldly.
You notice that Bolt's fastest times ALWAYS came at the Championships?! That is what separates him from all the rest. He rises to the occasion when the lights are brightest & the stage is biggest.
It won't be the same but it will certainly be exciting. I think this year's World Champs has the potential to be one of the most exciting. Massive talents over all of the sprint distances 100 through to 400.
Shifty Shiftaculamusic I think having an overwhelmingly dominant athlete is fun to watch with the record, but without them the game is more competitive which is also fun
Yes. I would go with juicing. The guy is 29 and retires. Jamaicans have a history of doping. All i know is that a 35 yr old beat him in 100. Then he pulks up lame in relay. Pussy in my book.
1. I don't care what yall say ,,, but 2:47 until 3:07 was just a perfect cut,,,from the beat of the song to the turning of Bolt and Blake,,,to Yohan staying right on Bolt's tale,,,what a perfect shot and legendary race. 2. Yohan is underrated and as much as l respect Bolt, l love Yohan more and he's just a Beast man,,,his speed is amazing and as much as he is kinda second to Bolt he always gives his all and you can see that. He is exceptional. 3. Michael Johnson's stride frequency is insane and holding it for 200m just shows how strong his body is. He's outta this world. 4. @@liampost9132 I agree with you.
