@@yennox5338 you got it bro. Blake has nothing to be ashamed of in his career. He had to match strides with four of the best sprinters of all time. He held his own in the peak of his powers joint second all time over 100m and second over the 200m. If it wasn't for injury who knows what Hogan could have achieved. He says he was overshadowed by Bolt which he can probably say but he was not at his best for long enough to make that claim. If he had shown the form he had in 2011-12 for another two or three seasons then I could agree with him. Injury is what really stunted his growth.
I disagree. As a sprinter, It is the start and acceleration that usually determines whos gonna win. I've raced against people as tall as usain. Having the ability to speed up so greatly and pass everyone on the second half of the race is not so common for tall runners, even in the 200m. Blake is not a short person, his height might be the best for a sprinter. Not too big for fast starts and acceleration yet not too small to fully rely on his start speed through the other parts of the race.
Bolt is such a class act. How can you not like him? He made everyone who lined up against him better. Blake was incredible…but even he knew a healthy & focused prime era Bolt is almost impossible to beat.

It's amazing how competitive they were towards each other, and had the final handoff together that made history.
I don’t think their are coincidences in life, his name is “Bolt”
hunter klugh what about Gatling lol Remember the famous Gatling gun it’s weird right?
Lol it means "shop" in Hungarian:))
Actually impressive that Blake can keep up despite being way smaller. It makes a huge difference.
@aaa it is
@aaa Yep bolts size effects his step frequency. He needs to put in extra effort because of his size. The ideal size for a sprinter is 5'7-6'1
Methylhexanamine?
@@adityakapadia6380 No it doesn't effect anything. If you're in the normal range of human height you're fine, height doesn't really effect how fast or how slow your are. I dont know why so many people believe this
@The Medical Enthusiast height has little to no effect when you're in the normal human range. 🤦🏿♂️

lol how is that an inspiration
@@ondrazposukie are u human being ???? Inspiration comes by inner heart vomiting refers bolt practice 200% of his capacity daily )
When I used to train, there was a time where I also vomited every day, that year I was national champion in 400m by quite a few meters (49.48). I was 15
@cristi dules surely you've never been a part of high performance
I’m still a Blake fan I want him to do good🤞🏼🤲🏼
M. Bilal same here I want a stronger than ever comeback! May not happen but nothing wrong with being optimistic
Tell him not to cut his hair it was his strengths
Calvin Mcdonald imma get right on telling him 😂👍🏼
He came 5th at the world championships he did OK, I just want the old Blake.

Impressive that Jamaica sweeped the podium.
*What's even more impressive is that they did it again today*

Tracks boring without the real big man... Bolt thanks for the time you've giving this sports.I had a smile on my face from start to finish.🤩
We love Bolt, but track is very entertaining now that many fast sprinters are taking over, with no clear trackstar.
I agree with you T.... I'm just disappointed that with all the talent coming out of Champs we're not consistently dominating on the international stages....as far as the men's racing is concerned...
You must be under a rock cause ever since bolt retired , USA has been doing their thing

That was good one
The world admits that JAMAICA is the best in this field
Yohan could be so much more.. His 200m 19.26 is actually the quickest 200m running time, if you take out reaction time at the start...I think that is amazing
Haz Mon01 exactly people don’t get that he could have broke bolts 200m record with better training and no injuries back then
Blake also has the fastest 100m into a headwind of all time.
@@yennox5338 no its actually usain 9.77 & asafa 9:83 in a headwind of over 2 meters per second
@@kingpindbessmusic7516 I said INTO a headwind, therefore it's Blake since he ran 9.69 with -0.1 m/s.
Its really weird that Jamaica missed the finals in this years Olympics
I am more impressed by Blake who beat Bolt being 6 inches shorter.
Sprinters were mostly short for more than a century. Bolt it's 6.5 feet.. THAT'S impressive.
its more impressive to be a food 100 m sprinter at 6"5 than at 5"11
The shortest racers are the most faster races on the planet. Usain and Asafa are genetics.
While tall sprinters are far less common I believe height does give one more upside potential. Stride length is huge.
4:12 Love that inspiration/advice..."Run your own race and you will be fine". That's life.
Blake is to Bolt what Joe Frazier was to Muhammad Ali
I think Frazier would be Justin Gaitling
@@prasan7th I mean I get it, but on the biggest stages it was always Blake challenging him
Usain: Anybody who was anyone was on my left
Guys on the right:
Bolt is such a class act. How can you not like him? He made everyone who lined up against him better. Blake was incredible…but even he knew a healthy & focused prime era Bolt is almost impossible to beat.
Bolt : I vomited daily because I was pushing myself to the ultimate level
Saitama: Been there. Done that
