    this guy...this guy right here...is a true warrior. and an overlooked and underrated track star of all time. he is a true inspiration. he fell down and got right back up. people can say whatever they say, but he came back and did what not too many track athletes can do.

      Totally agree

    • @richardoliveira153
      @richardoliveira153 Год назад +1

      Hes not underrated! I disagree. In fact Im convinced most people view Gatlin as the second best and/or consistent sprinter ever behind Bolt, plus performing in Bolt's era. He would've been the Usain if Usain wasn't there, and that says a lot about him. Just happened one guy was the fastest and better 100m and 200m sprinter in all those years. And that was a fact no one could physically deny. What you mean by Underrated? Do we need to overrate him with words and call him nr. 1 even tho we know isn't true?

    • @TJCoolzD
      @TJCoolzD Год назад

      @@richardoliveira153 true! usually people dismiss him as a "bad sport", or a "cheater" and then they never speak of him again and go on to the next one, so he's sort of overlooked in my eyes. but you have a really valid point though!

    • @richardoliveira153
      @richardoliveira153 Год назад +1

      Oh I see... You ment to say people spoke unfair things about him as a person after the "drug" Scandal, which I can agree that it was unfair since Im pretty sure they all did the same or similar, not just Gatlin. Now, that is way different than being underrated. Even Usain Bolt rates Gatlin as the best next him. Bolt even Said he was afraid as hell of him everytime, because he knew Gatlin would bring fire to the tablet any day.

    • @richardoliveira153
      @richardoliveira153 Год назад

      From where it counts the most to Justin, Im sure he knows the respect and admiration is there... And Thats from his greatest rival - Usain. Much like Muhammed Ali did to Frazier when he Said after the 3rd fight: "he is the greatest ever lived... Next to me".

    Bolt may have the fastest time, but like a great fighter you do not know a champions heart until they have been down and see how they get back up. In my humble opinion, the greatest sprinter i have ever seen, both live and on RUclips. We all have skeletons and if anyone has earned it and proved what he is made of, it's Justin. Hold your head high and be proud of everything you have accomplished on your incredible journey.

    I clicked on this very recently and I'm re-viewing it now and all of a sudden I want to know every runner in the first clip and also, I stopped after the first clip but after checking, which took some while as I had to scroll down for an interminable period, I came across the results for both the Men's 100m and 200m and then it hit me. The world lead, prior to Gatlin's personal best which broke his previous world lead in that very same year, was at the American Outdoor Championships leading up to the Beijing Worlds was Gatlin himself at a Diamond League where he ran 19.68s. I know because I saw it from another montage by "Reformed." I remembered that piece of running and also, what really came back to me was how the world said that Gatlin was the man on top and Bolt didn't really give a clear indication if he was in form for those Championships as Gatlin had the world lead the previous year and that same year and all of a sudden, Bolt STILL jogged the end of the 200m final at those Beijing Worlds and STILL beat him. Even in the 100m, where everyone said that he didn't give a clear indication if he was fit enough to challenge Gatlin with even the commentators saying something like Bolt would have to really pull out everything if he wanted to get anywhere near Gatlin, Bolt still managed to triumph over Gatlin and everybody else such as Bromell too. We know what kind of talent he is as Bolt still easily snatched the world lead away from Gatlin I'm the 200m but I think at MOST, he could've equalled Gatlin's world lead over in the 100m or win with just a little less from the lead. Didn't matter either way................
    Well, that's just one of the ever growing numbers of things that makes Bolt special and who he is and was. That's just one of the things. There's an exponential amount. Mega epic shout out to Blake, Powell, Carter, Frater, and the rest of the big Caribbean names out there...................................................................................
    Edit update literally a day later: I forgot to mention how up to 0:54s where I fully stopped is really well made. You rarely see the music times so perfectly....... The rap really hyped things up where he really issued that warning out to the big Jamaican............ you knew something big was going down......

    If some people remember Bolt did not win Coleman even once.
    Justin for me always will have the hardest working athlete imagine in my heart.
    I dont denie other work, but from what i have heard that Bolt trained 3 hours a day and Justin 6 hours a day.... It shows only who truly loved what he was doing.

    Another update: It's how you always think of the big runners when you see a track or field event and the big names either aren't there or are yet to come. You always wonder who Bolt or Blake or Powell would reply and that's just a few of the big names................................................
    Even another update: The music from 0:26- 0:55 is what gets me moving. If I'm angry, this is one of those videos that I can turn to especially that scene from 0:50- 0:54........................ anger will prevail.................................................................................................
    EVEN ANOTHER UPDATE: I always felt the piano sounds from 0:00- 0:13 just before he sings sounded like something from a sad movie I knew and I just remembered. It's like the lead up to the big music in "Inception" with Dicaprio and the rest of the big crew................................................................
    OH GOD! EVEN ANOTHER UPDATE: Just before 0:13 and the start of the video where the piano comes back at you just before he utters a word is a very powerful piece in the song. It signals something big is coming........................................... we'll see...........
