Amen. One of my favorite books in the bible is the Book of Ephesians. Sunday morning I got rid of my FB/FB Messenger and my IG accounts And unsubscribed from A LOT of unnecessary YT channels. It was so very freeing and necessary for ME. I am growing in the Lord. Getting to know him fully so I may be fully filled with HIM! Praise God. God bless you sister and All. 🙏
Amen!! When you delete your social media it’s like you destroy your digital alter ego - it’s like literally being delivered from that digital alter ego. And regarding unsubbing - that’s also a very wise move, as when we go to someone’s channel, we are visiting their “spiritual house” - how good does it feel to release all those hidden burdens?!!

This is a beautiful young lady, with great intentions. We all experience a crisis of faith/support, from time to time. That is just part of life. Faith and walking the truest path that you are capable of can minimize these incidents. I ask for the power to be a better man than I was the day before, every morning, before I start my day.
I have leaned that BEING INTENTIONAL about seeking God daily is one way of thwarting off “feelings” of “ lack of Gods presence” in our lives. We are making the choice to be intentional to seek Him. His word tells us when we seek Him, we find Him,when we “draw near to Him, He promises to draw near to us. I love in the book of Hebrews ( 11:6 ), this is such an amazing verse and really helped me in my walk. We learn that what really pleases Him is faith and so when we approach Him (in faith) we can be confident that He will respond. This verse is packed with information and truly profound. Funny how the word says-“ fight the good fight of faith”. Twice the word fight is mentioned in the one verse, so we know, it is a battle, but God IS FAITHFUL, even when we are faithless, thats a pretty awesome assurance and promise. Gods promises are a super important thing to learn and so detrimental in our faith walk

I grew up sharing a bedroom quite often with my grandmother and she had really nice old antique pictures of Jesus on the wall over her bed. They were of him alone on the mountain praying and also a big one of him knocking on a door and there was a text in german or something that said "let the lord in" or something like that. When I got my own room the first thing I put on the wall was a little picture of Jesus knocking on a door and then one of him praying. Ive often heard fundamentalist christians forbid all pictures of Jesus, and I personally think the catholics often take the pictures of saints, Mary and Jesus way too far, but I really like to have some pictures up. There is a middle ground when it comes to reigious pictures like this, I think. I really liked the message that such a picture is a good reminder that God is always close to us and to remind us of what he´d want us to do.
I like that reference Jesus knocking on the door, I think Jesus was knocking on my door for about 5 years but it wasn’t till I destroyed my self and felt I couldn’t continue living my way that I finally opened the door.

No matter what life/enemy is dishing out, True dedication to Him and submission to Him and His Ways. The keys. Couldn’t agree more. Not easy; especially when there are many trials many temptations many things that are going on. Staying true. Building true relationship and intimacy. Those words relationship and intimacy; are what it’s all about; but, it’s not fluffy clouds, rainbows and ice-creams, far from. He is growing us up into True children of God. It takes stamina. It takes persistence. Sanctification is the process. Burning away the chaff is the refining fire. The question is; especially those that are beginning to understand this journey with God; Are we going to remain faithful?? Whom/what do we turn to in the midst of heavy heavy trials, temptations and loss? Do we go to substance/addiction, (whatever it is) or do we go to The One that spoke existence into being? Whom is our God?? Often, by the time we learn what Jen is saying we’ve been around the block soo many times, frustrated doing the same things over and over. Maybe there just might be something in this God thing.

I feel everything is a test from God, those times we feel distant from source is designed to happen, we are just dirt and ashes, sometimes we need to realise that again in order for us to receive, in order to redirect those sinners onto the truth, the truth that will set them free.

Oh sister i relate alot to your feelings here, i wonder if the pain of loss has something to do with this. Loss of a joy about everyday life. There are no highs without the lows and i wish more people understood that. Offen i feel like everyone around me is just pretending and they want me to pretend as well but i have too much pain to pretend i want to just cry sometimes when im around other people but im afraid they will hurt me worse by their reaction of indifference. I feel distant from God when i cant be myself and myself is in alot of pain and lonely missing the ones that i have lost. Jesus said bessed are the ones who morurn for they will be comforted but no one cares to comfort me, the world made them cold. I thank God for Jesus because he comforts me. If speaking your mind is too much for others than i feel like that is a shame.

I have the same issue now I have this new born spirit from Jesus it’s very precious at the moment and I find my self turning down the radio when the wicked and filthy noise begins (I used to turn it up)and more quiet around the home, currently reading the world the flesh and the devil by jimmy swaggart 👍, I found the church prayers and singing has closed more of the doors of darkness in my mind, I think it’s important to understand God is there when you need God the most but like you said Jennifer the “work needs to be done” to activate the Holy Spirit in our life, then you can notice the Holy Spirit working on our behalf but we are only human and I think end of day only Jesus Christ could lived up to Gods standard but God loves us for the muddy hole digging fruit stealing menace that we are and will gladly help us when we require it. When our battles are won then we are able to help others and praying for others 🙏🦋⚔️ as you do.
