Thanks for writing Mo. I still need to cut them down. The job is slightly too much for my Fiskars but I do have a professional mat cutting machine from our store days a hundred years ago...lol. H
These are amazing finds. I think the high ceiling sitting room would lend itself to an era now antique kind of journal. I liked the idea of a wrap around image on a cover that you mentioned with the dining picture. I took an interior design elective class in college and I wonder if I saved my drawings? Nothing this elaborate, I assure you. It would be fun to see your husband’s designs as well. ❤
Hi Carol, I do love these drawings but they are a real heavy load for my big Fiskars cutter. After harvest I'll take them out to my "studio" & use the professional mat cutter to bring them down to a manageable size. Hopefully that'll trigger some usable ideas. I think you need to turn the house upside down to find those drawings---imagine how you could adapt them now to this new life and because you're the creator you own copyright & can do anything with them.... BTW Not sure about Roy's class assignments but his paying jobs included boring stuff like bridges, parkades, anything requiring pre-cast concrete.
Kelllie, that's very tempting but I can't because of copyright infringement. The designs belong to their creator so I have to find a way to use them one time only. So far, I'm still pondering that. Hazel
Spectacular!!!
Thanks Tammy!
these are very cool, something very unique for sure
Thanks Caroline!
This is why I love auctions... the treasures... very cool - that first one I would cut the bottom and use the brush strokes as a belly band

I bet they’d still be cool! I love diagrams.
Please scan those in to use over and over they are so beautiful!
