मेरी उम्र 71 वर्ष है ये सारे गीत मैंने सुने हैं फ़िल्में भी देखी है। ये वो दौर था जब लोग फ़िल्म और गीतों के बड़े दीवाने हुआ करते थे। फ़िल्में और फ़िल्मी गीत मनोरंजन के मुख्य साधन थे माध्यम था रेडिओ और ग्रामोफोन बाद में टेप रिकॉर्डर आया। पुरानी यादें आज फिर ताज़ा हो गयी मेरी उम्र के लोग बड़े नसीब वाले हैं जिन्होंने बैलगाडी से बुलेट ट्रेन तक का नज़ारा देखा। इतने सुन्दर गीतों के वीडियो के लिये पुनः एक बार धन्यवाद।

सचमुच हम बहुत ही खुशकिस्मत हैं कि हमें लगभग सभी बदलाव देखने का अवसर मिला है। एक वो भी समय था जब हम 3 से 5 पैसे में फिल्मों के लिखे गीतों को छपे हुए कागज पर पढकर मनोरंजन करते थे। मुझे आज भी याद है जब घर में रेडियो भी नहीं हुआ करता था। पिताजी की बहुत मिन्नतें करने पर रेडियो आया था और वहीं पर रेडियो सेलोन में "अमीन सयानी" के कार्यक्रम "बिनाका गीतमाला" सुना करते थे।
उसके बाद तो जो-जो हुआ है वो सब आपने लिख ही दिया है।
मेरी उम्र भी 70 साल हो चुकी है। अब तो कुछ-कुछ याद है और कुछ-कुछ भूलता भी जा रहा है।

I grew up 35 years with this wonderful collection each one bringing memories of the years they came out. I can see how Rafi Saab voice changed from one year to the next. I think his voice was at its best peak in the early sixties if I had to chose.
