- What's good, everyone?! Today's video features a look at an abandoned Bed Bath & Beyond location that closed around June 2023 as a result of the company's Chapter 11 Bankruptcy filing. The filing came as a result of continued losses and declining stock. The company was also involved in a stock buy-back scheme that resulted in one of the company's financial officers committing suicide. The company's legacy isn't entirely dead, however, as it was acquired by Overstock Furniture shortly after all of its physical locations closed. I filmed this particular location in April 2023, shortly before its liquidation sales began.

That’s wild…I was at that Bed Bath and Beyond location only a year ago and I used to go there semi-frequently before that. Had no idea that it would only be a few more months and that the entire company would shutter. Looking back on the year in perspective, 2023 has definitely been a year of change for all of us.
Phar-Mor occupied the spaces where Bed Bath & Beyond was and where World Market is. Linens ‘N Things was immediately to the left of Phar-Mor and Children’s Palace was the other anchor, where Ross is.

Hello I have a suggestion can you explore the abandoned CVS near the abandoned Ryan's near the Bandon jersey Mike's near the abandoned jewelry store. It's in West Ashley near the Walgreens that used to be a Rite Aid and currently the only business there is a rogue motion in West Ashley.
I definitely remember when Phar-mor was the large anchor in the ‘90s…..I used to shop at Manifest Records in that plaza. Are they still around?
