@ The first time it happened to me I thought “OK, that shouldn’t happen again” and then the second time I thought “OK that definitely will not happen again”
I appreciate you showing those very handy bladders as I'm old and have a blown out lower back. You've got a great set-up, you're living the dream, while im getting rained upon !
You’re welcome! It definitely makes the job easier, no matter your physical ability. I do my best to see the glass as half full rather than half empty. I hope I brought you some joy into your day. Merry Christmas
Theres the million dollar opportunity for some young up omed out there!!! Buy an old tank truck trailer with a few totes on it. If its a "clean tank" great! You can haul drinking water in it.use totes for septic. Drive around campgrounds charging a nominal fee to fill their water tanks and pumping their grey/septic tanks into your totes. Saves them from packing up camp to go to a dump station. You can literally work all winter in warm climates and generate a fortune on your own schedule. Someone needs to get on this!!!
That pickup at the dump-station ahead of you had the right idea. Hook your turd-totter on your trailer hitch and tow it over. No pumping mess or a grinder needed. They make little hitch brackets for the handle of the totter if needed. Glad to see we all have one thing in common, our crap all stinks the same. Cheers.
Yes all of our shi+ stinks. lol. I do have the hitch attachment but I have to drive 3-4 miles down a highway to get to the dump. 😳. By the time I got there nothing would be left. Thanks for your comment
@@HighCountryRambler trying to haul a tote that weighs several hundred pounds on Desert rocks will eat the wheels off of them in a heartbeat! You’re better off to do exactly the way they did it, placing the tote up in the bed of the truck and using a macerator pump to empty your tanks. I’ve been doing this for two years and have found it is the best method.
Thank you! A comment that actually stated I did something right! 😂. I do agree about towing on the rocks will just eat up the wheels. Not to met have to drive on a highway before getting to the dump station.
The hazards of this method are still worth avoiding the inconvenience of the process of towing your rigs and returning to your exact spots at camp that will be easier to level the rigs, put your slides back out etc, but it is still necessary to lubricate the slides and cycle them regularly so your end of season exit will have no tripped circuit breakers and askew slides.
i can empty my black tank into a tote in under 2 minutes, then pull it on to a handicap ramp on the back of my truck then go empty it and fill water in a 60 gal water blivit i carry in the back of my truck, this whole process takes me about 30 minutes, depending on the line at the dump station. a macerator is just another problem that can go wrong. I see so many people work the hard way. I'm a KISS person (KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID). I have a build in pump to pump from blivit into my coach.
wishing you a merry christmas and happy new year but quartsite is a dust bowl and heat . go east into az, in the eastern parts for the pleasant forst, now isnt a great time time due to snow and cold ,
Quartzsite offers an amazing sense of community and serves as a perfect hub for sightseeing. Plus, the cost savings from using my solar setup make it even better! Merry Christmas to you too! 🎅
Poopsie! That’s a perfect word for a poop + oopsie. 😂
Let’s hope I don’t have to say ‘poopsie’ as my season continues. 🤣😂

Hopefully there is not a third time. Lol.

No way would I set my power station so close to a poop drain and pump. I cringed until the end and all was well. LOL
Good point. If ‘something’ got on the power station I’d be purchasing a new one. 🤪.
🤗 Merry Christmas Dora! Hugs to you and your family! 🎄

Great video. How wonderful to have friends you can trust with the 💩 stuff. 😘
You’ve got to have those friends! 😂. Thx Diana. Merry Christmas 🎅
You two are so much fun! Can’t wait to join the fun.
Hey, you’ve got to make these tasks fun, right? Don’t worry-I’ll put you to work as soon as you get here! 😂🤣

@@jeffproctor1690 no kidding! I could double tow it around. 😳. Great idea! Thanks for watching and i look forward to your comments on upcoming videos.
Have to get a gov't contract to do this.
Absolutely would have to yes.

@@notyouraverageexplorer this is my 7th winter in Quartzsite we all get it right eventually lol
ummmm.... I thought the Blue Boy dump station was for gray water only? Can you dump black there as well?
It is for blue boys to dump at regardless if it’s gray or black water.
WAIT!! Weren't we *JUST* talking about "learning curves". LOL Good job Dora!
We sure were! Those curves keep on rolling. Thanks for coming to painting today! 😊

Oh yes, this process is so much easier than moving the RV. Great points about the slides and everything-thank you for those helpful tips!
It pumps fast its not slow at all
You are so right. I thought using the small hose with the pump it would take forever. Not the case. Merry Christmas 🎄
Well that was a shi++y episode! lol Your viewers appreciate you keeping it real.
Thank goodness there wasn’t any spillage. 🤮
Take the poop toes handle and get it to where it would hook on your trailer hitch and you can drive it to the dump station
I’ve seen that however where I’m at currently m, I need to drive down the highway. But that will be super helpful when I’m in a campground.

@kar-r5i4f Bless your heart, you learned a new saying, but no need to explain it as we've all known that one for decades. Happy 👣 Trails

I’m sorry about that. For some reason the item is no longer available. Here is a link of one similar. amzn.to/3Dzsux8
Was the first dump gray water?
I did the black then grey so things could get rinsed out.
